Lucas is the 8th NCT Dream member we never had. 😭
Lucas is the same age as Mark and he was still a teenager when debuted in NCT so he should debut in NCT Dream as well but he is very tall and looks way older than the other dreamies ( or at least used to look) so SM decided not to debut him in Dream but he really wanted to, so he was very sad when they told him that we wouldn't

There were probably many reasons Lucas didn't debut with Dream. He had the least amount of experience in dance or singing of any of them when Dream started and SM may have wanted him to develop his skills more. Odd numbers are also easier to choreograph for. And in the early days his height would really have stood out which is a big consideration in a dance group. The "tree surrounded by flowers" image that Lucas gave in that famous Vlive with Mark is a pretty accurate picture. hahahaha Plus, he just fits the WayV concept so well that I am glad it worked out like it did.

2:15 the general consensus is that 127 IS the most popular but only internationally. within korea they’re about equal or some would even say dream is more popular in korea since, while 127 focused on international promotions, dream only really had korean promotions. dream also had a more public-friendly concepts/songs for korean listeners (generally)
That's right, 127 famous globally, dream famous in Korea while wayv famous in china(also globally too)

For scaredy cat jisung, it his popping DNA. His speciality in poppin dance. So he even get popped when startled. The hyungs take care of him since 10 yo or 11, when he start training with all nct members. So yes, but this year he turn 20 korean age. He try to become more mature and take care off himself. Because NCT babies who is younger than him will join anytime in the future.
hi! just a suggestion, when you're talking or have thoughts, like even fleeting thoughts you want to share, i think you should pause the video for a bit, it's really okay, we love hearing what you want to say. i just think u get sidetracked a bit when u don't pause the video and end up not focusing on it as much, kinda like when u were talking about the digital art.

The second song that played on Chenle guide after his childhood mv is A New Beginning, chenle and renjun wrote this song when they graduated from their school last year and they both singing it.
It was post on their school social media but never officially released.
I personally really like this song because the lyrics, melody, and their harmony are so beautiful

That's why the song title is a new beginning so it's basically about how they said farewell to continue their path and new phase after graduating from school

For NCT Dream songs I would recommend Chewing Gum, Go, We Go Up, Boom, and Ridin. Preferably in that order.
I know you might not be able to do all of them, but I think these are their most important comebacks.

for recommendations, i definitely recommend “chewing gum” and “go” and watching them back to back would be really mindblowing!!
this is because they debuted with “chewing gum” as a really cute and youthful concept, and “go” was the first time they really shifted concepts. they’re also both ot7 after jaemin missed two comebacks (“my first and last” and “we young”)
also “boom” is their first comeback from after mark graduated and is another more mature concept. but the fan favorite really is “my first and last” (and definitely my favorite title track from nct dream)
For Lucas in Dream: Basically what happened was when Lucas was added to the NCT line up, he had thought he'd be debuting in Dream since he was the same age as Mark. So he started practicing NCT Dream choreographies. Turns out they weren't going to add him to Dream since he didn't match their concepts and he was already 18-19 by the time he was preparing for debut, meaning he wouldn't be in Dream for long (based on their old graduation thing). So it's been the running joke that Lucas really wanted to be in Dream. He has stated several times before that he wanted to be in Dream and he is close with those members.
His "Dream" did come true briefly during an SMTown concert where he got to fill in for Mark during a dream performance.

Ridin’ was the song at the end. I’d love a reaction to nct dream-Ridin pleasee it’s their latest title track as nct dream. Oh but it would be fun if you first reacted to their debut song Chewing Gum then react to their latest song to see ho much they changed or evolved.
At 10:32 17:23 22:52 they're doing a segment in Weekly Idol in which each member had to pick a question but the question was only shown to the camera and not read out loud so other members didn't know what it was. The member picking the question would answered by giving back hug to other member who fit as the answer. Then the chaos started because they didn't know if the question is good/bad while given a chance to guess what it's all about, but the real questions were never revealed during the show.
Some music video recomendations: NCT 127's Highway to Heaven and Superhuman, NCT Dream's Boom, We go Up and Ridin & NCT U's Boss and Make a Wish. They're all great to apreciate all the members voices and visuals.

First, I'll recommend some NCT Dream songs for you again:

Super M is a super group of SM artists. It's got Ten, Taeyong, Mark and Lucas from NCT, Baekhyun and Kai from EXO, and Taemin from SHINee. Super M is great, you should definitely check them out and EXO and SHINee too.
Digital art seems so hard to me, but I'm also not an art person at all so that might have something to do with it lol
Maybe it's because a lot of us have seen Jisung since he was even younger than 14, but no matter how tall he gets (he's the tallest in Dream) or how much older he'll always be the baby haha but he's definitely matured a lot.
Lucas has said often that he really adores Dream and I'm sure he's not COMPLETELY serious when he would say he wanted to join Dream. It was mainly the fact that Lucas in the same age as Mark and so he fit the age range of NCT Dream, but all the Dream members debuted together before him, so he said he was lonely. A lot of us were actually confused when Lucas debuted in 2018 in NCT U, because we were like "Shouldn't he be in NCT Dream? Why isn't he with them?" Obviously, we know now that it was mainly because Lucas didn't really fit the Dream image even at the time (him being generally taller and buffer than all of them) and SM were clearly preparing to have him join WayV. I don't know if you noticed that last clip with Lucas, he actually got to perform WITH Dream in 2018. He filled in for Mark at a concert and it was a super big deal because we knew how much he talked about Dream and loving Dream's songs and wanting to be with them lol

Lmao the thing with Lucas is actually a running joke because he is the same age as Mark. So he very well could've been a part of Dream, but even as a kid when he first joined he was super tall. So if he was a part of the group when it debuted then he would've been like a tree since everyone else would have been much shorter in comparison. Also when he formally debuted in NCT, he mentioned a couple of times that he would have loved to be a part of NCT Dream
I see this as Dream being more popular in Korea and 127 in America. This is expected since 127 is promoted in the west and had a lot of tours. Whereas, Dream is just in Korea with a very few asian tours before covid. And WayV, also in China.

Ridin' by NCT dream
Yes, Lucas is very popular among other idols and the fans, mostly cause even though he can’t speak Korean well he doesn’t let it hold him back and talks as much as he wants without holding back, even if he might make mistake in speaking he always speaks confidently. Lucas could’ve technically debuted with the dreamies cause he was born in the same year as Mark, but SM didn’t let him. I don’t know if the reasons for this have officially been proclaimed or said anywhere, but many fans have theories some being as Lucas stated his height making him look like a tree among flowers if he was actually part of Dream.
SuperM is a 7 member group consisting of members from 3 different groups under SM. The groups being Shinee, Exo, NCT, and some people sometimes mention WayV as a separate group as well but they are part of NCT. The members consist of Shinee’s Taemin, Exo’s Baekhyun and Kai, NCT’s Taeyong, Ten, Mark, and Lucas. Lucas and Ten are also part of WayV. The group is called the avengers of Kpop. The group primarily promotes in the US under Capitol Records.

At 15:36 they're having a set of games and 1 of it was aegyo game (they decided to do it since they hate aegyo) which member did the aegyo and Haechan was the judge. In Jaemin's turn, Haechan didn't give him a pass. That's when it escalated quickly that Jaemin literally went from 😒 to 😻😽 and proceed to do a lot more aegyo with some hints of affection lol . That surprised members then they said "wait a minute, what is going on here?" and caught Haechan off guard so Haechan said "okay Jaemin you pass" and "I SAID YOU PASS!!" then Jaemin stopped lmaooo

SuperM is a subgroup made by SM entertainment, SuperM debuted on October 4th, 2019 with the song ‘Jopping’.
Lol, when i was new to NCT, i thought SuperM was a sub-unit but its a subgroup under SM.
SuperM’s concept is kinda like the avengers, they are sometimes called the avengers of K-pop bc they have that powerful energy when they’re on stage.
Members are also from different groups that are under SM:
SHINee(debuted on May 25th, 2008 with the song ‘Replay’),
Exo(debuted on April 8th, 2012 with the song ‘Mama’),
Nct(sub-units debuted: Nct U[debuted on April 9th, 2016 with the song ‘The 7th sense’],
Nct 127[debuted on July 7th, 2016 with the song ‘Firetruck’],

Mark and lucas are born in the same year(1999), so lucas thought he had to join dream since he was closer to the dreamies age. Lucas is an overall member of Nct and is also apart of the china based sub-unit: WayV, but isn’t apart of Nct Dream because SM said lucas doesn’t fit the dreamies concept since he is very tall(6’0) and kinda more manly while the dreamies are more cute(not the lucas isn’t cute but you know what i mean). Its sad lucas couldn’t join dream, but Nctzens will forever consider him as a dreamie in spirit 😌.

in english spelling it's c-h-e-n-l-e. its okay, some fans call him that too but in korean romanization, if u read it in korean spelling, it sounds like "cheonluh or chonlo", tho it's different in chinese pronunciation, it kinda sounds like "cheon" "lay"- as in lay down. the same with renjun, in kr pronunciation it sounds like "reonjwin" or "ronjin". their pronunciations are based on how they are spelled by the used language. ehe i hope this helps 😬
