AMAZING KONE Polaris Destination Dispatch Traction Elevators In San Francisco, CA

A KONE Polaris Destination Dispatch system in San Francisco!!! Also, these are my FIRST Polaris elevators! DOUBLE EPIC WIN!!!!! I give a HUGE thank you to security here for letting me take as much time as I needed to film these epic elevators. The two guards who were here at the time told me these used to be manual elevators, but he didn't know what company made them. I'm going for OTIS, Westinghouse, or Pacific. The doors in the lobby are sooooo cool, just as this system is! These run very very well, and have non-CA buttons! I also really like the flashing sensors. It's not the way my camera is showing it, they really flash. I've been wanting to film one of these systems for a long time now, and I discovered this building while walking the streets! These are so cool. Good job KONE. By request of security and the building owners, I cannot disclose this location to anyone, but ya'll might figure it out by watching the video. wink wink YAYAYA I'M THE FIRST PERSON TO FIND POLARIS IN SAN FRANCISCO!!!!

Seems like they also used the door component to Kone AMD (by Wittur Group). Identified by the similar sound in Asian AMD door operator while it moving.

I won't say where this is since you don't want it disclosed... but I was in there when I was a kid in the 80s and they had Otis Thyratron Tube touch buttons at the time... Since this beautiful bldg. predates the 1906 earthquake, I'd imagine there have been a few incarnations of its elevators in 110+ years. I like the current version... although I'm not sure why Kone named them after Polaris... the best damned snowmobiles in the world... made in tiny Roseau, MN up by the Canadian border since 1953!
