The voicemail” honey what happened to you “ had be crying on the damn freeway
Adela Lemus me too. I listen to these while I’m driving and i was balling
M Detlef What the fuck is wrong with you? Why are you so rude?
Adela Lemus sameeeeeeee
M Detlef
who hurt you?
I totally thought I was the only one that listened to these videos in traffic. Only way to pass the time
This man really asked her if HE could leave like she was the one trying to attack him 😭
The audacity
I really wish she didn't let him go because Jessica would have still be alive today.
@@007aubama9 I sort of agree but also think how frightened Melissa would have been and she would of just been relieved to still be alive. If she tried to hold him under citizens arrest he may of tried to hurt her again.
@@emsem2785 that's true the only reason I was saying she should have held him was because she managed to wrestle his knife from his hand and could have used it to threaten him while leaning on him but I totally understand she needs to look out for her safety first.
@@007aubama9 Also, we have to remember that she was injured. In that situation I’m sure her ONLY thought at the time was survival.
And let’s also not forget that she may have saved more lives by being so diligent in remembering details! A perfect description of him AND his vehicle! Pretty bad ASS if you ask me any!
"Honey. What happened to you?
No. No! Honey, no!"
Is heart wrenching.
Her poor mother having to see her blue with marks around her neck and even her trousers being wet...wow I'm speechless and that doesn't normally happen with me.
I was sobbing.
Literally was looking at the baby monitor of my seven month old daughter sleeping and heard that part. My momma heart just shattered. I can’t imagine being her poor mother 😭
Possibly one of the most painful 911 calls I’ve heard. I can’t even imagine how her mother must have been feeling.
That broke my heart omg
That was hard to listen to :'(.
Elenor :her best friend dan who was with her for four months
Me: he did it
same i knew right away, she wouldnt mention him that much if he wasnt important lol
Exactly what I was thinking,it’s was really obvious it was Dan
Sounded like bad news once Eleanor said the relationship went bust before college
I felt really bad thinking it was him at 1st
Like "I really think it's him but they have been best friends for years and older men harassed her and I still think it's him imma horrible person for even thinking this"
same same
“Honey what happened to you? No!” I broke down. I literally NEVER cried at one of these before but that.. that hit me
Litterally SAME. ive never cried watching any true crime video b4
Same :(
Same here. My step daughter died when she was 14, and it totally brought back that horrible feeling.
Same, that might be the most heart breaking 911 call I've ever heard, her poor mother... that is a pain no one deserves to feel
Same. Never cried after hearing 911 calls but this one is just purely heartbreaking :(
I had to really fight back tears during that call. Her mom was so devastated. Ugh, that was tough
Don't fight tears. Let them roll down. It's therapeutic 💙
Thank god for Melissa !!! Without her this might still be unsolved!
"can I go?" as if it's an inconvenience for him, and as if he wasn't the one that was trying to attack Melissa. OK dude.
I think it was more like "..so are you going to come at me with the knife now, or what?"
I love the way Eleanor gives so much background into what the person was like and insight into their lives rather than just going straight into what happened ☺️
as soon as you introduced dan i immediately new it was him
I went to school with her. She was everyones friend she had such an amazing heart. I miss her.
😘
i lived in a city close to where jessie was from and i saw her occasionally at shows in my town. she was the sweetest and her kindness had a lasting impact on me. finding out what happened to her was such a shock and disgrace
That call ruined me :(. I have a toddler daughter and I can even fathom what I would do if something happened to my baby girl
I had to call my mom when I heard that call 😭
Yeah I can't even imagine coming home to find your child dead in her bed esp in such a way, murdered. In your own home in their own bed the place you would have thought they'd be the safest.
Same here. I had to go cuddle my little girl after that 911 call. I think my heart would stop and I would just die too.
As a mom that 911 call was probably the most heartbreaking one I’ve heard. Gosh I’m crying now 😭
And I just realized I’m somehow signed in under one of my son’s old youtube usernames 🤦🏻♀️
I’m a mom of 2 girls, one being a teenager. I was bawling my eyes out. I don’t think I would have kept it together as well as that mom did, I would have just been screaming and gone catatonic.
I’ve just paused it after the phone call and I’m actually in tears 😭 “can you do CPR?” “She’s cold, She’s cold!” she knows she was way past CPR 😭😭 that is heartbreaking to listen to.
I would loooove to see the DNA Doe project as the featured charity- they're a non-profit that seek to identify Does, and have identified Lyle Stevik, John Clinton Doe, and Buckskin Girl to name a few
identify does..? like deer?
No, like Jane or John does
Unidentified people
Yes that would be amazing to show them that support.
Yes!!! I'm so happy they've been able to give them their names back. Jane and John Doe cases are the saddest for me.
That 911 call just made me cry so much. It’s horrible that a mother would have to see her child like that. Heartbreaking.
I think that your idea of including a little segment about charity after videos that deal with such dark and depressing subjects is great and very thoughtful on your part. Keep up the good work, I love your videos ♡
The Smoky Paws charity means a lot to me. They provide oxygen masks for pets in fires. They are doing amazing things here in the UK.
Oh wow that is brilliant.
Aw that is so lovely ❤️
How dumb!
Perimiter Music Why is it dumb?
Amy Stobbs That is so relieving to hear. I live in the Uk and I’m always worrying about a house fire in my house and that my dogs will make it out but die because of smoke inhalation.
That was one of THE MOST saddest and most emotional 911 calls I've EVER heard....I was crying...you could feel the mother's pain and suffering...how sad that her mother was the one that had to find her!!!! Wow.
Her mother’s 911 call was devastating I actually cried during this case it is so sad 😭
Great job Eleanor. Thanks for sharing Jess, her story, her mission, her messages. Not sure how you heard about her, but glad you did. Her reach and impact keeps expanding:) The world is getting smaller. Love is getting bigger.
I know this is 2 years late but I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss. I hope we all can strive to be as good of a person as Jessie sounded to be.
Beautifully put. Love IS getting bigger. Love and reverence to everyone affected.
I'm so terribly sorry for your loss. I pray you find peace one day. 😞❤️
I live in the same town as her and she helped the middle schoolers with orchestra during the summer. She was so nice and enthusiastic! Everyone was shocked to learn that she had died. Now her father comes to the high school to give a speech and talk about the Love > Hate Project
I wish I had known how the dog reacted when that woman it was tackled. I wonder if I ran if she let its leash go, fought, or just freaked out.
using her platform to make even more of a difference, a true queen
A fat queen lol
Perimiter Music get off UA-cam you five year old idiot
@@Nerotheraccoon *Thicc
Perimiter Music awh, a little insecure boy feels the need to degrade other people. get better soon
@@Nerotheraccoon aww bitch get a life
I've lived in the USA for 12 years now, but I'm from Nottinghamshire, and I love true crime videos. The added bonus here, is that Eleanor's voice is so soothing, despite the disturbing content.
Also, kudos to you Eleanor, for always being respectful to the victims and their families. ❤️
Could you please do a video on the Jodie Jones murder?? This is a Scottish crime her then bf is currently in jail for her murder but the case is so sketchy! No one I can find has covered this yet xx
Omg the 911 call..
When she called her honey i burst in tears.. she sounds absolutely devastated
i clicked so fast my thumb nearly fell off
Abbie Holloway me too girl 😂😂
at least its not just me😂😂
Mood
her parents are so strong. i think it’s beautiful that her father started this charity in honor of her, considering this was something that she was passionate about. it’s just so tragic though, to see someone with so much kindness and good in their heart taken from us by selfishness and evil. at least her legacy of good and kindness and love can continue on through her father’s work
Ugh that phone call absolutely broke my heart, I can't imagine the pain of finding your daughter like that
please do the Billie Jo Jenkins case, it still hasn't been solved, many believe that her step dad did it but he was released from prison after not enough evidence!
That would be such an instresting video
I don't know if you'll see this but here in New Zealand we have an amazing foundation called The Sophie Elliott Foundation (it was a big case here in NZ) which has sparked a school/education programme called 'loves me not'
I myself, as a 25yr have read the loves me not book, talked to police who run this programme in my local schools and can see the passion of those involved in getting this lesson out there.
I was lucky to have survived my own situation and now know how to recognize the signs of a dangerous, unhealthy relationship be it romantic or otherwise!
This is a programme and foundation I stand behind 100% our younger generation needs to see this, to take on board this information to help develop wise choices and educated decision making skills.
Please please add this to your videos! Look up Shophie's story. It's a tool for parents also.
This guy a real loser
absolutely awful. I hope that Jessie can rest in peace now. Heavens got a beautiful choir player now, one taken too soon.
I've never cried listening to a 911 call...but this time was different. How heartbreaking.
I also love what you are doing with the chairities at the end of the videos. Thank you for all you do
That call is chilling. Unbelievable.
The amount of security cameras and backup devices I've bought for them has increased tenfold since I started watching true crime stories like this.
The amount of effort you put into these videos to help the families is honestly so beautiful. Keep it up💓
I really like the idea of adding the charity info at the end. It's nice to see something good that comes out of all the bad.
such a sad murder, thank God melissa survived 💕🙏
i've watched A LOT of true crime so i've become a bit desensitized to certain things. but oh my god her mom's 911 call is absolutely heart wrenching. it's rare i get teary-eyed over a case but listening to her mom's 911 call nearly brought me to tears.
I was really needing a video because now I’ve finished EVERY VIDEO on your channel☺️
Me too!! 😄😄
I think it’s absolutely amazing how much effort you put into your videos and how you apologise for missing a video upload when none is needed because the effort you put into a video I love your videos so much keep up the good work ❤️❤️❤️
This is so sad I can’t even imagine what the family went through. What scares me the most personally is that when this happened I lived in the town right next to Hartford. I always thought it was safe, the worst that happens where I live is kids being stupid, so to find out that a girl was raped and murdered, make it feel less safe.
argh why does it have to be the ex-boyfriend *every time*. I'm always rooting for the guy to turn out to be a decent person and it's never the case
oh man, i know this case. such a talented girl gone way too soon. may she rest in peace
Her singing voice is so haunting. Poor girl didn't deserve her fate
This one actually made me cry. Her mama sounded so upset and I can't imagine how she felt seeing her child like that. Prayers for her family.
That 911 call will never leave my head for the rest of my life, “ honey what happened to you” made gave me lumps in my throat omg
i LOVE the charity idea! It’s so amazing to see how caring you are to your fans and just people in general. ily so much ❤️
I hope she carries it on in 2020
That 911 call is so chilling and heart breaking. I lost a friend in high school to a heroin overdose and her mom was the one who found her. I could only imagine that situation as I heard her mom sobbing to the dispatcher. 😭
That was by far the hardest phone call I've ever had to listen to. You can tell how much her mom loved her.
Hey Eleanor, you but so much effort into your videos and you are hands down my favorite youtuber and person ever 💛🥰
im always extremely touched and heartbroken by every case you spread awareness for, but I’ve never cried over any of them, except for this one and the chris watts case. the 911 call absolutely broke me, i don’t have kids and have no idea what Jessie’s mum would have been feeling but you can feel the emotion pouring out of her it was so devastating
That phone call was heartbreaking “I don’t know what’s going on” poor woman I can’t imagine
My heart breaks for her poor mother, she should have never seen her baby that way. I hope Jessie is at peace and I am glad she got some justice. My heart goes out to the family and friends.
Love the ending touch to the video. So bloody creative, that's why I love you and your channel ❤️❤️
This was one of the worst cases I’d ever heard. So glad you covered her case. I’ll bet her family is so thankful she left behind all the memories, amazing singing & theatre videos they can still watch. Though I’m sure it’s hard for them.
Also her moms words “no, no honey NO!!!” will forever be one of the saddest thing I’ve ever heard in my life. 😭
nobody:
eleanor: sO TODAYS VIDEO
I am enthralled by all of your videos but none has ever made me cry, until this one. The mother’s 911 call.... I heard the voice of myself and every mother there has ever been!! Heartbreaking 💔💔💔
Omg I’m soooo early can you please please reply I’m such a big fan 🥰
The 911 call broke me 😔
Ugh this 911 call haunts me. “Honey, Nooo”. God please comfort her mother 😥
Haven’t watched it but I love it
Idk why I am so addicted to your videos! Your voice, pacing, respectful tone, this is just it!! Thank you for being a creator 💙
“Together We Rise” is an amazing charity for foster children. They help reunite separated siblings, give away $1 million in scholarships every year, and give kids clothing, duffel bags, schools supplies etc that they need.
That phone call brought tears to my eyes... I can't imagine that pain
Eleanor I came across your channel by accident and so glad I did. Girl I can't stop watching all your videos. You are so good at narrating the stories and super pretty. I have learned a few tips on how to be more aware and self protection from your videos. Soo sad to hear about Jessie may she rip and i pray her family can find peace. Keep them coming! Much love from Washington DC!!
I saw so many of your videos by now.. this is the first time I cried. As a mother, hearing the mother on the phone.. god. Worst worst nightmare. Wouldn’t wish this upon my worst enemy. Just heartbreaking..
Her mother making that home call. That’s awful 😭 made me cry 😭
the 911 call broke my heart :(
I remember this case and it still makes me emotional. That phone call from her mom really makes me cry
Love that you’re mentioning charities at the end of your vids🙌 ending on a more positive vibe
My heart broke from that 911 call I'm in tears an shaking from the emotion and fear in the moms voice
Your voice is very soothing it puts me to sleep, the only concerning thing is that I'm falling asleep to stories of brutal murders and disappearances
That call was just heart breaking. Its truly disgusting that this was done to her.
Legit binge watch your videos every night until I fall asleep
unrelated but that lip colour looked beautiful on you
that 911 phone call gave me chills, absolutely heartbreaking
I am addicted to true crime and have watched hundreds and hundreds of hours over my life but that 911 call was one of the hardest I've ever heard. I can't imagine my mom finding me that way, we are like sisters and besties moreso than parent/child. I know there are a lot of dysfunctional families and bad parents but it's excruciating when good families with great relationships and loving parents lose their children or family members.
i live across the street from her on high way 60, my sister and cousins went to school with her so this was a big part of our lives, especially these type of things don’t really happen in wisconsin especially not hartford since it’s such a small town.
God, I got chills listening to that phone call. I feel so bad for the mom and the rest of the family and community...
that 911 call genuinely made me tear up. the pure anguish in jessie’s mother’s voice got to me in a way that not many 911 calls do.
I rarely get emotional, but that 911 call had me tearing up
i’ve heard a LOT of 911 calls but that one from Joy made me cry. “Oh honey! What happened?” 🥺😭🥺😭
Please consider Hector’s Greyhound Rescue, I know it’s not to help humans, but they’ve been working so incredibly hard and deserve to be mentioned! They help so many ex racer greyhounds who have been treated terribly throughout their racing lives. Greyhounds have none of the same protection that racehorses get while they’re being used for racing, they can live in diabolical conditions. They never learn to play with toys, live in a home or get any affection. If you’ve heard about the treatment of Galgos in Spain at the end of hunting season too I’m sure you’re as disgusted as I am! Anyway, thank you for all your time and effort making all these videos, they’re amazing
Jessie had such a bright future ahead of her, it so sad she died so young
That 911 call was absolutely heartbreaking
phone call broke my heart:(
That 911 call was incredibly heart wrenching. Wow.
DOTS of London. I cry every time they post on Instagram. They support homeless dogs and their owners on the streets of London.
just want you to know you’re getting me through quarantine and i love your story-telling skills.
My daughter passed away several years ago and when I heard this 911 call, it took me back to that horrible day on Sept 19th that my sweet girl left us. And, yes, when (especially) a young person passes away unattended by medical, and their death was not imminent (such as in hospice) it becomes a crime scene. They considered me a suspect as I wanted the Chief of Police strip my daughter’s bed, take her pillows and stuffed animals. I understand that they have to do it. But, it doesn’t make it any easier on a parent that has just experienced the worse moment of their lives.
That phone call breaks me. If your a mum u will feel the pain in her voice.
that 911 call was heartbreaking ! Brought tears to my eyes.
Is Eleanor’s hair it’s natural color her hair is such a beautiful shade it looks 100% real. Eleanor has that classic beauty she looks like she stepped straight out of the Victorian era. It’s no wonder why her channel is so successful she’s very talented as well.
I like how all of your videos are solved cases (at least the ones I've seen, anyways). There are so many channels where almost all of the videos are unsolved cases. Maybe one out of every twenty is a solved case. It feels like you're reading a book but never get to finish it. It also leaves me angry that the sick bastard hasn't been caught, yet. Thanks for doing solved cases.
Horrifying how she was murdered by someone she trusted and loved, someone she had known for years.
Not unusual. Women are more likely to be attacked by someone they know.
Just goes to show that you never truly know anyone. Not even people you've known for your entire life.
This is why we need to focus on teaching our youth to look out for signs more. Most people often project, their demeanor changes, they start to act differently. Could be slight or major changes.
After watching so much True Crime, you bet your ass I'm gonna teach my future children how to keep their guard up.
Yeah that’s how it seems to be most of the time
In the 911 call, you can literally hear a mother come realize her daughter is beyond help, you hear her comfort her "baby girl" all the while hearing her saying "no"😢😢😢
I can't imagine what both her parents went through. It breaks my heart 💔 😢
Please subscribe to my channel I need all the subs I can get. I'm taking UA-cam full time to take care of my family. Thanks in advance.
L.Neshelle uncut and unedited not to be rude but this isn’t the best moment to say that/ promote your channel. I wish you and your family good luck tho
L.Neshelle uncut and unedited such an odd comment to promote yourself on...
@@Alonepistachio right? WTF
L.Neshelle uncut and unedited don’t promote ur channel on a video about somebody’s death.

That phone call to the police broke my heart 😭😭😭
yeah im nearly crying
I'm a grown ass man, yet I tear up every time I hear that call. I'm not a parent, but I am a big brother, and I have friends who do similar stuff; music and film. Hell, those are my passion as well... But I guess me breaking down whenever I hear that call is my empathy showing...
Abbie Gandy I just came to say the same thing I was in tears. So heartbreaking
"Honey, what happened to you?" Was what broke me 😭
