Hey there. I am first time rider. I have a 2018 tiger 800 xrx. Any suggestions for winterizing it. Is there anything I must do. I live in New York. It gets pretty cold here. Thanks in advance
Put it away clean and dry with a full tank of fuel. Will want to charge the battery every now and again, maybe disconnect the battery to stop it draining so much. Don’t just start it for no reason to let it idle for a while

No. Coolant is every 3 years. If your oil is already due to be changed then you can change it so it’s ready to ride with fresh oil in it

Just make sure it's well locked when you leave it , invest in cctv or an alarm

Greetings Muddy. Not unlike all the others, I've great appreciation for the time and effort you've taken to build the Tiger 800xc service videos. I've had my Tig for three years now and just finished a bucket list tour of the continental US this summer. I'm going over the machine as I need to sell her for an upcoming trip to South America. To the point, I've pulled the foot brake lever for some cleanup. Alas, I cannot figure out how to get the assembly back on properly. I simply cannot figure out how to get the return spring into position so that the lever rebounds up. Do you know what I mean, and can you help? Thanks in advance for any advice, and trust that I'll finance your show when I win the lottery! Cheers mate. Dan
+geodeveloper2 hi Dan. I can't think now without seeing one. It's just a small spring that attaches at the back of the lever isn't it? Can send me pictures to service@muddysump.com if you want and I'll see if I can mark up where it goes or something
