To open the bonnet of Ford EcoSport you need to follow these basic steps. To open the bonnet, you need to pull a button placed below the steering wheel assembly. Pulling the button pops the bonnet, now, to open it there's a lever placed on the left hand side of the Ford’s ‘Blue Oval’ logo on the grille. Pushing the lever right opens the boot, now pluck the stand from its place and place it inside the recess provide in the bonnet, to keep it upright.
How to Fill Windscreen Wiper Fluid:
To refill the windscreen wiper fluid in the Ford EcoSport you need to follow these basic steps. Open the hood of the EcoSport and pop open the blue cap marked with windscreen logo on it and fill in the fluid. Speaking of the fluid quantity, it depends upon on the variant you have picked, the variants packing rear wash wipe sports a voluminous container compared to lower variants. Speaking of the fluid, you can add a windscreen solution sachet available in the market along with water.
How to Adjust the Steering

The electronic adjuster is placed on the driver side door, beside the door opener. Flop the rounded lever to right side to adjust the driver side rear view mirror and then move the rounded lever to adjust the best possible view, the lever moves in four different directions. Same steps can be followed for adjusting the co-passenger side rear view mirror.
How to Use the Indicators:
To pop the headlights and fogs in the Ford EcoSport, the controls are placed beside the steering wheel on the right hand side. To turn on the headlights - nudge the control once to on the parking lights and twice to on the head lights. To turn it off, push the lever back two steps into its stock place. Moreover, to turn on the fog lamps, push the button placed inside the headlight lever knob. The headlight lever knob like any other cars offers 4 stages.
How to Use Wipers:
To adjust the wipers of the Ford EcoSport, first thing you need to keep in mind is that the wiper control stack are placed on the right hand side of the steering wheel, similar to that of VWs and few others. Now, to change the speed of the wipers you need to nudge the control stack upward. Ford EcoSport comes with 6-speed intermittent wipers while it offers 3-step wiper speeds, you can adjust intermittent of the wipers in the first wiper speed. To wash the windscreen push the button atop of the control stack. Moreover, to operate the rear wiper you need nudge the control stack towards you and little more flick will splash water to wash the rear windscreen.
How to Open the Boot & Parcel Tray:
The boot opening hatch on the Ford EcoSport is integrated into the right hand side tail lamps. Now to open the boot lid, there’s small black button on the hatch, press it and then pull the hatch to open it. The top variants of Ford EcoSport comes with smart key, in these variants pressing the black button opens the boot. In the lower variants if the doors are unlocked, the boot is accessible by pressing that button. Moreover, EcoSport offers 346 liters of boot space and comes with a retractable parcel tray.
How to Use the Infotainment System:
Ford Ecosport comes with host of features, the audio system can play CD, tuner - FM/AM, and supports USB and Aux-in along with Bluetooth phone integration. Speaking of the climate control, the system features two dial, press the button on the left dial to on the climate control, this dial also controls blower speed. Hi, need ur valuable inputs.. i had nov 2015 built EcoSport titanium Plus. Is this model having feature of automatically self locking when we move out of the car to a certain distance or away from car without manually locking it with key or from button provided on door handle.

+RogieKha22 Infante With a fresh oil filter too, the EcoSport 1.0/1.5 petrol have a capacity of around 4.1 litres. The diesel has a capacity of around 3.8 litres, as per the owner's manual.We recommend referring to the owner's manual for such info as they will be up to date with regard to the model/model year concerned.
I have Ecosport Trend procured in January this year. In that option I am not able to find any internal doorlock. The door is locked automatically when we travel certain distance. I believe it should have a feature to lock from inside also for the safety of the passenger especially kids when travelling at high speed.

+thaba buddha you can find the manual lock button in the central console, located below the music sytem power dial knobe & above the hazard flasher switch.
The small red light which I think is ight above the hazard button serves as the lock button when you are inside the car. This usually locks automatically after few minutes from the time you start and drive the car. It is also used to unlock the the car whenever you need to get gas and you are inside the car.
It also has a child lock for the rear doors; It is manually activated and deactivated near each door lock.
