How to stop fan noise from a CCTV dvr or any other similar devices

DVR's or any other devices if the fan fitted on chassis after a time gets worned out and starts making noise ,to stop this the fan has to be fitted on a shock absorber, fans are usually fitted on chassis to cut the cost or save space, dropping the voltage may also cut the fan noise
