I was having a horrid day, until I saw this video about my college buddy Jack. Good ole Jack always shines his gentle strong smile at me as he leads by example on how to persevere through hardship. This guy has a PhD in hardship. Who knew? The dude who led us in worship with his beautiful vocals and guitar skills at our wedding has become a rock star lawyer surrounded with loving family and friends. I am usually jealous of others who own a better guitar than me, but with Jack, I'll make an exception. LOL. I sure wished the article mentioned something about Jack's personal vision focused on Christ. But in any case, Christ is still truly visualized in Jack's actions. Everybody, I’m proud to proclaim my dear buddy Jack Chen: a bold witness of God’s sovereignty and love.

As a blind professional i want to thank you for sharing this information with others, considering law school myself...what an inspiring person!!! Also love that u have an iphone and google respects your right to use the equipment you need!
My dad could see when he started working for IBM in the 70s and lost his sight while working for IBM. IBM provided him with one of the first consumer computers that read from the screen and we had one in our house and he had one at work. He literally was one of the first to use this technology. I was too young to appreciate how groundbreaking the technology was at the time. Big ups to this young man.
Being a legally blind person myself, everyday I feel blessed to have what I have. Across the United States, at least 70% to 83% of blind and visually folks are unemployed and live far below the poverty line. 1 in 4 blind and visually impaired folks are homeless because they can't find affordable housing because they're unemployed. We're not criminals or x-felons coming out of prison or drug addicts. We're people who are just trying to live and be productive citizens. It's really hard when you have secondary disabilities such as ADHD and borderline ASD along with being mixed (White and Native American). I know a lot of blind and visually impaired folks who have college degrees (Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree) with a ton of volunteer experience and still can't find full-time employment. That's pathetic!!! Blind and visually folks have bills to pay and have to live. You have to do what you have to do to make ends meet. With a college degree or without a college degree, you have to take jobs that nobody wants. When I was homeless for six months many years ago, I had to fight for everything, when push came to shove. I had nobody taking care of me and I didn't expect that. Fast forward 20 years later even though I have a Bachelor's Degree and hope to finish a Master's Degree, served in the Peace Corps for 2 and 1/2 years, employed full-time in the health care field, and own a home, it's still really tough out there trying to survive. People of color fought for their civil rights during the American Indian Movement and Martin Luther Days. We're still fighting for ours. After watching this video, I totally look up to this guy for what he does for a career. Our community needs to have more people like this gentlemen who has been successful.
how bad is your eye sight also are you correctable to at least somewhat decent vision with glasses. Im legally blind in my left eye even with glasses on from complications and i ahd eye issues my whole life so even with glasses my left eye is correctable to 20.200 and its still fuzzy. Kudos to you Jack Chen. Back in the 1980s my divorce was also blind. He was once a policeman and lost his sight by being shot in the face with a shotgun in the 1960s. He eventually went on to become city attorney. Just goes to show what you can do when you really put your mind to it.
I'm trying to find my cousin who is a lawyer and might still be in Wisconsin as he graduated from Madison. He is blind from a surgical procedure. any directories I might be able to locate him?
How can I get in touch with Jack Chen as I am currently working with Thailand Association for the Blind and am planning to open new channels to groom them with new jobs and possibility. Thank you for sharing this video and true gratitude with deep salute to Jack Chen
Sir, i am a low vision, indian classical musician, i play Sitar. I want to immigrate to Canada or America. I 'm persuing P.hd in music. What is the scope for blinds or low visions in the international market.
Man I bet his pokerface is unreadable, and he probably has an advantage over other lawyers as he can hear things in the background or over the phone other people may miss.
My man probably suits up in devil suit and fights crime at night.
