If you mean Russia's attack to Ukraine, to "liberate" them from fascists - it's all lies. There are no fascists' terror in Ukraine. Actually, the leader of Ukraine is Jewish, who lost some of his relatives in holocaust. As well as some Jewish ministers. Even Russia, Europe and USA have more neo-nazis than Ukraine. There are just ordinary Ukrainian people who want to live in peace, and decide about their own lives. Very brave, compassionate people who deserve better than being bombed, now for the second week.

During the last two years 😷 we have seen the most unlikely collaborations, spontaneous meetings between people that never met, making fantastic music together, recording themselves and someone mixes.
Whatever your opinion is on all different varieties, of the more viral than the actual virus, Wellerman and the Ieevan Polkka, we all must admit, MUSIC UNITES PEOPLE!
One specific example is Ieevan Polkka.
A Finnish piece of folkmusic, takes the completely unexpected leap to East Asia, South Korea and Japan.
Then a Turkish street musician, Bilal Göregen, picks it up, and makes the irresistible, almost hypnotic hand drum and nonsense song version.
In South Africa 'The Kiffness' gets his hands, and little keyboard thing, on it. And turns it into a fast, extremely rhythmic dance tune (or in my case: a general ENERGIZER KICK! Whatever baaawwring thing you have to do, turn on Ieevan Polkka, either on repeat or choose one of the long loops (is 10hs enough?) and everything is so much easier!)
'The Kiffness' often put "The Vibing Cat" in his videos. That white cat happens to come from Canada.
It is an uncountable number of different Wellerman floating around. A large number with the Scotsman who started that flue, Nathan Evans, and God only knows how many different people are involved in different constellations. Then it started it's own life, new varieties have popped up like mushrooms.
When the people, living literally across the world can unite like that thanks to music, why can't the leaders?? Because most of them are sociopaths and psychopaths? I don't know, but I do know (again!)

If you want to see 19,000 people from 60 different countries singing together in a language that most of them don't speak then watch Daididau from the New York Arnau Envoy concert December 2019. You also get to witness Dimash's grateful amazement that one of his greatest dreams has been realised.
Another great song with a distinct message is Omir Oter, meaning Life is Short. It warns everyone to strive to achieve their dreams whilst they still can. The people shown in the audience represent the general population of Kazakhstan and the shining figures in the balconies are famous people from Kazakhstan's past.
I love Daididau, especially at the NY concert, I think that Dimash was so amazed and overwhelmed by the audience singing with him, especially that song, just such an incredible experience ❤️

Muy buen vídeo que hicieron estos chicos me acabo de suscribir a su canal. Esta canción de Dimash tan bella es muy necesaria e importante en estos momentos. To add even more irony...Dimash performed this in Kiev, Ukraine on March 11, 2020 & again in his concert in Moscow, Russia on March 13, 2020. For him personally, the Russian invasion of Ukraine is a great tragedy because he is popular and beloved in both countries.

@@janetlawson4482 I heard that he'd already had threats to his life whilst in Russia. I don't know how true that is, we don't often see much fan footage from Russia but one clip from a short while ago showed him leaving a Russian TV station with 3 big bodyguards.

His song Golden surprised me, I am from the US, so for now, you can put out a song like that, but the message of the song and the music video send a clear message. Living where I am from, we have no idea what it’s like to live in a country governed like Russia, and I truly pity the citizens of any country that have to live in fear like that. 2020 was the closest I have seen the US get like that, hopefully we won’t again, but that’s unlikely at this point.

Dimash is the World's ambassador of Peace. He is more than a singer and with so many fans he can make an impact for peace in the world; wouldn't that be great if DIMASH was the one factor that brought peace to the world, I feel he can. He was meant for greatness.

Most of the Slovic regions when at a Dimash concert are more laid back sitting in their chairs. I guess it's the culture and to respect the artist and audience so the people who pay to get in can hear what he sings. There's nothing worse than going to a concert and only hearing the bass and the people singing around you.

He does NOT always use all his FIREPOWER....and some reviewers get upset or DISAPPOINTED. I would also have you consider that his concerts are 2.5 to 3 hours long. He simply cannot blow out his pipes in every song - as a singer myself, I understand this completely!!. But you will find plenty of vocal FIREWORK, vocal EXPLOSIVE songs in your reviews ahead in songs like his LIonel Richie cover of Hello, or Olympico and many many others. Важнее самой песни, на мой взгляд, это слова, которые Димаш на каждом концерте говорит зрителям перед этой песней. Он каждый раз говорит от души, и это очень трогает. О том, что от войн первыми страдают невинные дети, о том что войны начинают политики, а не обычные люди, о том что нельзя ожесточать свои сердца.. Была на этом концерте в Киеве и тогда эта песня не была среди моих любимых у Димаша. Сейчас, в свете последних событий, понимаю как важна эта песня для всех нас. Политики играют словами о ядерной войне, но планета у нас одна на всех, и мне страшно думать о будущем всех детей в мире, если наша экология ещё немного пошатнется.

Everything Dimash does vocally and musically, is intentional. Some very subtle things in the music that not many pick up even have a specific meaning, symbolism. There is something in this music a music analyst pointed out that blew me away, wish I could remember. Dimash is anything but shallow. Right from a young child he has loved deep poetry and many of his songs are based on the old Kazakh masters of poetry . He even has a video of him doing a poetry reading. It’s beautiful. Dimash is no ordinary singer

The beautiful lyrics invite us to think about how we can bring consolation to this world, and choose how we want to live, whether with hate or compassion. The decision is defined in a moment... unfortunately in this case the decision is made by those who have power and not the people who suffer so much. Dimash transmits us such a sincere feeling that it moves us to the soul. He knows what he says because he is Kazakh. Son of a great country that is situated between Russia and Ukraine, a close friend of the common people of both countries.
