What's happening in the entertainment industry is sad, how does a channel buy someone's intellectual property and own it? The repeats should come with royalties to the actors. Greed is destroying the industry.

Hence the regulations must change. We didn't have freedom prior 1994, the laws changed, we do now.
This has educated me so about the TV, filming industry and I have to say truly a lot does need to change it is ridiculous the level of talent we have in SA but this broadcasting issues is totally unfair...

I saw Loyiso in Othello in my matric year and that introduction to theatre got me hooked. So great to see a South African actor who doesn’t aspire to make it in Hollywood or on screen, but just to push his art for the passion 🥲

Really learned a lot about the industry from this interview. It's really not what I thought it was. I always thought the production companies own the rights to the show, to my suprise its the channels.
