Reminds me of the Melbourne vegan protestors who tried to shut down the roads leading into the Melbourne CBD on a Monday morning. How stupid really are these people, what do they actually expect interrupting a bunch of normal people's days who haven't done anything wrong? Why don't they just raid a coal mine or something where the carbon emissions are far higher proportionately to the need of the asset. What I mean is that shutting down some coal mines whilst still significant isn't as disruptive as shutting down an entire essential transport link (which btw gets millions of people off the roads and into a less carbon-intensive mode of transport) and shutting down some coal mines is likely to stop more Co2 from entering the atmosphere than shutting down electric rail lines.
And then a guy tried to have a public barbecue to protest them but the police tried to arrest him. They let the scumbags block the street but would not allow a group of people to protest them from the sidewalk.
It was a mandatory stop for people to get on and off the train. If they moved, that would be an early departure, and trains aren't exactly known for having a reverse gear. That said, it _would_ have been funnier than hell.
why arent extinction blocking billionaire limousines and private jets (at climate change conferences?!)? instead of working class public transportation?

Must be a great experience...
Imagine thinking you have the right to disrupt people trying to get to work or home because you think what you believe is the only correct way.

What took the commuting public 2 minutes would have taken the police 2 / 3 hours.
That's because the police are highly insecure power hungry puppets. They are literally nothing without their guns.
