The village bears the brunt of broken promises, enough for its folk to believe that NOTA is their only option. Barkha Dutt reports.

As a staunch BJP/Modi supporter, I'd like to thank Barkha Dutt for spotlighting villages where development has not reached. If not under Modi, then do voters really think the INDIA will bring forth development to this village? Either way, shame on the MP and elected officials representing this constituency (irrespective of party) if the situation has truly remained stagnant.

I'm from Northeast India, and under Congress's 60-year rule, our region saw little development-we didn't even have proper roads. Now, thanks to Modi's government, we're getting new roads, airports, tunnels, better railways, and bridges. Congress never really included the Northeast as a part of India, but Modi Ji is changing that. We are proud to be part of Modi's family

All politicians across india of any religions ,any party,any background should put on in display the works they promised for people and their manifesto and if they dont achieve 80% of what they promised they should be jailed without bail for next 5 years then only india can develope...

I am from kerala..here villages well developed compare to other villages india .even we get modi^s water program .but we also had water connections from a panjayath program
So many years ego..i think better to stengthen local govt like municipalities, panjayaths uplift poverty and development for villages. That's we done somany years ego.
But kerala failed develeping major cities..we face problems in proper waste management compared to gujarath cities. And investments..gujarath cities role model for development of india

Barkha Dutt, please make a series of videos focusing on what went wrong in 60 years of Congress and how PM Modi has turned things around in 10 years. You can compare India's and China's growth from the 1950s to 2013. to get the perspective.
Barkha, you are a veteran in journalism but honestly you really never should have moved out of Delhi to check or bring to light such underdevelopment issues.
