I was just thinking, there's a song by Shinedown that you might like called "special". Part of the chorus says "I'm not trying to rain on your parade, but you're not special" 🤣✌😎🤘
The ‘sh#%^tfluencer’ that insulted the nail tech really annoyed me. Their identities should be revealed as a public service. The audacity (in Charlotte’s voice) !!
My bff is an AMAZING nail tec and I would never dream of asking her for free nails. I actually tip her extra and always bring her a coffee and a snack. Seeing people asking talented people for free services for ExPoSuRe angers me so much.
At this point I think showing who the "influencer" is would be a public service. The nail tech exchange was shows how morally bankrupt and obnoxious the "influencer" is. The working Mom who does nails (which is not artistically easy) so she can balance being a full time parent and generate income should be applauded. That's the kind of REAL INFLUENCE women should have. Not a lazy, entitled, attention seeker who offers nothing but make believe pictures and videos about the life she wishes she had. After Miss Influencer loses favor among the disposable "Insta-Celeb" community - the lovely Nail Tech Mom will still be going strong and successfully running her business and her life.
Right? Chances are these so-called “influencers“ have as many followers as they do because they followed them to get a follow in return and are trying to convince people that it means something. For all we know, one of them could be that person‘s mom.
So sad that the woman who "makes a living" off of begging people for free stuff thinks she can judge someone with an actual business and talent. The word "influencer" just makes me want to puke a little.
Okay, that last "influencer" really turned my mood into the "I'm ready to fight you" attitude" lol. Lesson: Don't disrespect people who make a decent living doing what they are passionate about. You don't know their full story, so don't judge them!
That “Thank you, stay blessed ❤️” was infinitely more satisfying and impactful than any bitchy response I could have come up with. I’m keeping that in my back pocket.
The one wanting free nails: If I were her mother, I'd be so ashamed! Then I'd direct all of my friends to that nail technician and make sure they tipped generously.
Worked at a little ma and passed floral store and the store across the street came over and bought our stuff to decorate their store THEN asked to tag us in their FB. Course we said yes cuz they paid. But literally nothing changed 🤣
Dude I want to know this nail salon! They would get my business this price was absolutely amazing! I wish this person was in East Texas. It's 40$ for nails and 50$ for toes in my area.
I don't think I will ever understand how those people brains' work. "I want free stuff for exposure to my 3k followers", or arguing about 15$ book?! I see similar things in the art comunity - people expecting comissions or hand-made stuff in general to be extremely cheap. For example: last week I discoveres in my neighbourhood a shop with handmade chrochet items. I noticed a cute crochet unicorn in the window, so I walked in, asking if it is for sale. And the lady was so defensive, asking me if I like hand-made stuff i=and if I am sure I want it, and then she shyly told me that the unicorn would be 25$ (approximately as I do not live in US, so the price was in different currency). Turns out that people were coming into her shop and argue with her that the stuff she is making is too expensive. It made me feel awful. I did buy the unicorn though, plan to visit the shop more and I also recommended the shop to my friends :)
I worked at a restaurant for a bit and by god I was surprised by the amount of "vip" guests who turned out to be "influencers" and didn't pay for shit. It surprised me because this place was a pretty decent local chain in my city and they for sure didn't need whatever exposure these people would provide. I dunno it just seemed like such a con to me
When last one said like it’s sad for their mom to be a nail tech. I would’ve been like “uuuuhhhh. Then why are you going to get your nails done when you could’ve done them at home?🤨 sounds to me you value nail artists then.”
9:30 "I don't usually give such a good deal.." lmaoooo girl NO ONE has ever taken that "deal", let alone a worse one. It's crazy to me that so many people will say they are "influencers" bc of a couple thousand followers. Absolutely insane to me.
I used to work at a popular baby supply store in the Toronto area and they would often give discounts to influencers just so they could have good posts featuring the store. basically translated into "suck up to person and give best service so they say good things".
For influencers please replace with Professional Narcissist. Or professional narcissists who exploit their children for money. Anyway that took some cheek to write that to you. Anyway I may try out your filmora 11. Looks good.
I'm totally on board with the comments and advice you give. People are shocking with their bizarre behavior. They should be called out on basic principles, etc. Even if you're being decreet about the exact who, understandable, there's always the hope that they'll end up seeing what normal human beings think and believe to be decent behavior, and hopefully they'll wake up and straighten up. If not, oh well, their loss. When people put their foot down more, about BS behavior, then sanity and peace should prevail. Maybe they should be all rounded up and put in their "own special areas", for the benefit of the rest of the world. Hahaha. Makes me wonder if these people are actually human. For real! Thanks girl! Much love 💕
I find it funny how EVERY "influencer" starts out about how "great" the product is or its "fire" and how much the just love it. Then when they don't get what they want, all of a sudden the businesses product is "crap" and how the "influencer" was just trying to "help them out". 🙄 🤣
Funny how most of these "influencers" say they LOVE their "potential victims" services... but when they're rejected then they say it's sh*t. So, beside showing how salty they're, they're also proofing they're just ready to speak well about something just for (petty) money.
I put absolutely NO credit in a food critic’s opinion… everyone has different tastes. What is delicious to one person may be not so great to someone else
This actually happens to my small business all the time. That and "donations," but when they pick up the donation, they say things like, "Wow, I have never been here before this place is actually really cute." Like, yeah, did you think you were asking the dump for a $50 gift cert?
I have ten tattoos on my arms. If you get a sleeve you probably will get charged an hourly rate. 2 sleeves will take multiple sessions so it most likely will cost in the low thousands range.
The gin and cocktail company I work for got a message from an influencer last week. It was a long wall of text and we all collectively groaned upon seeing it. The guy was going on about his team wanting to come for cocktails and a tasting and would be snapping away with their cameras and what a good collaboration it would be. Just before I was going to give up reading I got to the second to last paragraph at which point he asked if we would like payment upfront or on the day 😂 Needless to say, he and his team will be coming for their cocktails and we got a lesson in not judging anyone too soon. And to all the influencers out there: be more like nice cocktail guy.
I love how the "influencer" says, "You're making a mistake by not giving me the nails for free. I'd get you more clients!" when she knew the nail tech was SO POPULAR, already, that the only had ONE slot open, the entire week. One slot. Yeah, that super-busy boss babe sure does need exposure, so she can get those clients. Otherwise, she'd be left starving in the streets, because nobody would know about her! Wait. And then, it's the same old song, "Hahaha! I was just joking. Your work is crap! I was doing you a favor, asking for it for free!" These people need some self awareness.
I wish the nail tech would name and shame the influencer who insulted her. She overstepped boundaries by mocking her as a parent for having a "lowly" job. That is straight up harassment and the "influecer" should be held accountable. I wonder if her followers knew how she treated this lady, if they would still want to follow her. Hopefully not.
I'm not yet sure why these IG people think that the world really cares about them, the number of followers they have, or whatever they do. It really seems like they do nothing at all but beg for "free stuff", with the often unfulfilled promise of doing a video, opening a box or something else. Since there is NO REAL VALUE to any IG "influencer" because they don't "influence" anyone at all, why in the world do they think they're so important? "Followers" quantity is not the same as "Paying Customers", and it seems to be a habit that an "Instagram Influencer" will never want to pay for anything! I can't really think of a more useless group of people than IG "Influencers"; it's like claiming to be the best ice hockey player in the state of Louisiana!
Omg that last woman commenting about only being a nail tech. Hahahahaha that was extreme!! I’m a cleaner and a single mum. What on earth would she say about my job?? Lol I’d luv to meet that Bush in a dark alley one night for a chat but I’m busy having awesome relationships with my teenagers and loving the satisfaction of a job well done. I can’t imagine being that bitter. How sad.
Wondershare Filmora is easy and has tons of tools to help simplify things like the background AI and freebies like royalty free music and assets (plus they have low price assets too). I have it! I sound like an ad, but I'm not getting paid lol
The last lady don't know what she is talking about my sister and her friends would fly me out to where they were just so I could do their hair and nails. If circumstances were different and I still had both of my arms I would still be doing hair
I'm an author. And yes, I hate it when people ask for a FREE copy of my books and promise me they will leave a review. They get the free book and never leave a review. The $ I make from my book sales goes to my parents funeral fund. Every penny counts.
This is getting ridiculous. So this is what I propose… These “influencers “are asking people these ridiculous things and promising more ridiculous things that actually having any data to back it up. If one of these influences are hired and you don’t get “mad sales “ afterwards, you get to sue them!
A convo between kids who deffo dont understand what an influencer is: Kid 1: what does your mom do? Kid 2: _Peoples nails what about your mom?_ Kid 1: nothing she just sits on her phone all day taking pictures. Kid 2: _ok wanna play in the samd pit?_
I like the Adelaide one who wanted free food. The amount of followers he has is blurred out, but the bar is quite short. So it's probably not alot -_- The free book one is another nice example. The writer can basically post this convo on his instagram for free exposure for his books :D On a side note: 2 Stories were already featured.

Google "grabber toys with shark heads".
If I could afford it, I would buy one of each on all the websites and have them shipped to you.

I’m absolutely dying to know who they are too
Going to google it just in case haha
My bff is an AMAZING nail tec and I would never dream of asking her for free nails. I actually tip her extra and always bring her a coffee and a snack. Seeing people asking talented people for free services for ExPoSuRe angers me so much.
You're a good friend :)
@@cindy846 That's what I was thinking. Bringing someone food is one of those "little" kindnesses that mean so much.

a million thumbs up from me
even if she's a billionaire you don't treat people that way - a demon's money means nothing
I agree why do they always blot out the names of these entitled people. Expose them.
YES I really wanna know who the influencer is!!!
Right? Chances are these so-called “influencers“ have as many followers as they do because they followed them to get a follow in return and are trying to convince people that it means something. For all we know, one of them could be that person‘s mom.

Same here
“Can you pay me to eat your food?” 😂
If these people were "actually" big-time influencers, tradesmen would be seeking THEM out, not the other way around. SMH
Bingo! Great point!
True
I love how you switch from normal voice to a Cartman impression when reading the entitled people's messages. 😂😂👌🏻 Love you, Charlotte! 🤍
It's stupid when she does that
Okay, that last "influencer" really turned my mood into the "I'm ready to fight you" attitude" lol. Lesson: Don't disrespect people who make a decent living doing what they are passionate about. You don't know their full story, so don't judge them!
Them: "I'm an influencer."
Me: "If you were that influential, I would have heard of you."
That “Thank you, stay blessed ❤️” was infinitely more satisfying and impactful than any bitchy response I could have come up with. I’m keeping that in my back pocket.
I would figure that Cartman would grow-up to be a ENTITLED Influencer. Great job @Charlottedobre.
You look great today, Charlotte! I love the voices 😂. You always make me laugh and feel better when I’m stressed. Thank you for doing what you do!
The one wanting free nails: If I were her mother, I'd be so ashamed!
Then I'd direct all of my friends to that nail technician and make sure they tipped generously.
Imagine going to your landlord and being like I will post pictures in the yard and get you some more clients in exchange for this months rent😂😂😂
I like how Charlotte does the cartman voice when reads the influencer parts.
All I heard Cartman from “South Park” when you were impersonating the music video person. Excellent 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That "influencer" who insulted the nail tech neeeeds a beat down no cap
@@Cynophileandavianenthusiast - disagree-think you should say it too 😉 Think society needs to be less tolerant of shitty behavior!

Omg I would love that last woman to get CANCELLED and have to eat her words! What a hitch!
Thank you for the Filmora recommendation!! My current editing software was limited but I love how simple Filmora is to use. You are the best. 💜💜
Your Cartman voice from south park is hilarious 🤣

Dude I want to know this nail salon! They would get my business this price was absolutely amazing! I wish this person was in East Texas. It's 40$ for nails and 50$ for toes in my area.
I hope the nail tech mom posted that conversation to the wannabe influencers ig. That's the "exposure" she really needs in her life and brand 🤣
As my grandma use to say, “These trifling people have no couth”😊
Oh that last one... I would've invited her to my nail salon! 👊 Of course, I be the one needing new nails after I got done with her!😡 WTF!?
All the influencers I've seen have said that the businesses contacted THEM to promote their merchandise/services. And that's the way it should be.
That Juvia's Place one was a trainwreck! Idk how people have the audacity to ask for free things!!
Wrong hand. That was awesome and real. LOL!
I don't think I will ever understand how those people brains' work. "I want free stuff for exposure to my 3k followers", or arguing about 15$ book?! I do resin designs. Ppl always want free
Omg your voice of Cartman from south park is really good 😂🤣
"Customers.... PAY for things" I'm CACKLING
Speaking as an aspiring author, one of the first things you learn is *not to* dm people asking to read your work for exposure, yet alone for free.
I love your Cartman influencer voice! Perfection!!
At 4:49 You do a spot on Eric Cartman imitation .. i am impressed !!
I wish that nail tech had released the conversation without the blurred out name. That “influencer” deserves to be put on blast.
If my mom were a nail tech, I would be flaunting her business to all of my friends... 😆
Using cartmans voice on the model part of the video is hillarious!
Oh I had a good one. I had an “influencer” not only want one of my candles for free but wanted me to PAY HER to unbox it in a video. 😂 KMA
I worked at a restaurant for a bit and by god I was surprised by the amount of "vip" guests who turned out to be "influencers" and didn't pay for shit.
