It’s very annoying that we are now in 2022 and there are two agreements from last century that we have to deal with. I am in Australia and want to ride a motorcycle in Vietnam but because our IDP uses the 1949 agreement Vietnam do not recognise us. So to satisfy travel insurance I need to be licensed in Vietnam which requires me to get a 3 month or longer visa.
