“My husband and his indestructible head!”
Vision: ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT
Just watched age of Ultron and Wanda tells Vision ,,all i see in your head is annhilation‘‘. Yeah, sounds about right.
That's the point. It's Wanda's reality, so whatever she says goes.
@Ultron mate... you went out like Tai Lung in Kungfoo Panda, just obliterated by the power of love or friendship or something.
You've been waiting since episode 1 to make that joke and I'm here for it.
Happy thanos noises
Prediction:
Comics!Wanda: "No more Mutants"
MCU!Wanda: "No, more Mutants"
Here's an Easter Egg for you, Nick Mason says "I've been practising in front of the mirror with a hairbrush" which is a callback to when he said the same thing in like a previous video or something can't remember which
Aquaman show
SPOILER:
Giving us so many answers before the end of the sitcom is great because we’re gonna feel so unsettled for the Westview civilians and vision for the remainder of the sitcom episodes
Or there’s more we don’t know yet, like some else who’s pulling the strings
@@dg9444 Have you notice Kathryn Hahn's character Agnes character keeps talking about her husband Ralph yet he’s never once shown up in any the previous episodes even when the whole Westview town is gathered together.
I got a suspicion of who he might be if he exists.
the answers is here ua-cam.com/video/75G-AoImnks/v-deo.html
One thing they did not answered fully yet is Vision's boss choking as if it was real and his wife strangely asking for him to stop (or was she asking Wanda to stop it?).
@@viniciusvyller9458 some people think that Wanda makes a slight hand gesture before he starts choking, so she’s probably asking Wanda, but it clearly starts out as just a glitch or something.
What’s really interesting about Wandavision is that she’s unwell, and insanely overpowered. You want to see her get better, but if she doesn’t she could easily become an Avengers-Level threat. And there’s not many Avengers left...
There are plenty of Avengers left. Just not Vision, Quicksilver, Ironman and Black Widow.
@@dingle2987
Cap is gone too, Thor and Captain Marvel are offworld, and Hulk is down one arm. That leaves Dr. Strange as the only one powerful enough to deal with Scarlett Witch... hence "Multiverse of Madness" I'll bet.
@@drksideofthewal Spider-Man could as long as he isn't being persecuted by 6 villains or something. Also T'Challa and Shuri are around. And how could I not mention the other sorcerers? They may not he strong alone but there is more strength in numbers.

I’d hate to overlook Spider-Man. He’s a great all-rounder, one of the strongest, smartest, and most versatile Avengers. That said, Wanda has godly power. Spidey would have to be quick and brutal, no joking around. Realistically, it would probably take him, Shuri, Falcon, Winter Soldier, and whoever else is still around.
@@drksideofthewal and don’t overlook Tom Holland himself, he could burst wanda’s ears with his sweet little boy voice
elizabeth olsen is like... for me, what keeps this show so funny and great. she is SO killing this role.
More people have watched wandavision in the mcu than real people have watched inhumans irl
funny
This episode was great. Finally the return to the real world and a view of post-Endgame Earth. That hospital sequence was fantastic, showing the dark implications of what happened to people that were dying when they were snapped. Hospital patients dying & the medical system being crippled by the loss of staff explaining why the world just stopped since the effects of 50% of the population disappearing caused so many problems for the remaining 50%.
Yeah, that short scene of people snapping back was actually a call back to the feature film Avengers Endgame
My only problem with this series is the seven days between each episode... Its really good, me thinks.
Lol it made up for the way Spider-Man far from home butchered the return of the people who were snapped. In that they just popped back into reality and they made it a joke. (That whole movie is a joke tbh but I digress)
To see as well the genuine confusion and fear of people. Like, just coming back to discover friends or family members have passed away, but you were just talking to them.
Yeah, the avengers never should have undone the snap... 5 years had passed, the world was moving on like it always does but they had to interfere to nurse their own bruised ego's
The big spoiler is in the first trailer. Where vision escapes and wakes Kathryn Hahn's character up. She immediately recognizes him and asks if she's dead, because he is. Which tells us that Wanda isn't in complete control and vision has some autonomy separate from her puppeteering. I agree with other comments that Wanda being the villain is a red herring and not the complete story. Especially with all the hydra hints in the commercials.
The hydra hints/commercials are just references to her past traumas, the stark bomb, strucker, ect
@@Reddragon212115 Could be that too, we don't know for sure.
So, was it a red herring when they were dropping "easter eggs" to other people? And then they re-red herringed to make us think it's Wanda? IMO Making it anything more than Wanda having to deal with herself and her grief is super cliche and would really bring a rather different kind of story back to the basic style of storytelling we always get.
What if Wanda is in control but she is controlling Vision to do what she thinks he would do if he weren't being controlled?
In that same scene, she's dressed as a witch, while Vision and Wanda are in their comic-accurate costumes. Food for thought.
I can imagine Maso talking to himself in the mirror Taxi Driver style, but he gets mad at his reflection for repeating his jokes.
I’m still not entirely convinced that Maso exists when James isn’t around.
@@pastlife960 maybe Maso was created by James and they'll be a spin-off called James'o Vision?
That made me think of him as mr Magoo passing the mirror. “Who are you?! How’d you get in my house?”
Anyone notice that Monica Rambo broke through 3 walls and then broke through "The 4th wall" out of the TV show?
We just ignore the fact Wanda can now be classified as a necrophile
That and what are the twins? Stolen from some other couple in the town? Projections that aren't real? Or truly her children and a product of necrophilia?
@@caramelzappa in the comics I believe wanda just made her self have kids so they might be real
To be fair... he's not organic... so its more like she's shagging a broken lamp.
To be fair... they've slept in separate beds so far, so it's more like she's sleeping a few feet away from a broken lamp.
@@zachkeene212 it was later revealed that the boys were actually fragments of Mephisto’s soul, and they died when he re-absorbed them - one of the things which drove Wanda nuts. But then Tommy and Billy were reincarnated (but years earlier somehow) and were reintroduced into the comics as teenagers 🤷🏻♂️

@@horatiohuskisson5471 isn't the condiment King a DC property
I disagree, I think it would be a way better story if she ultimately has to deal with her own issues, having some sneaky nobody in the shadows pulling strings is so cliche.
@@doomstadt2371 I agree, and also like MovieBob's idea that she will also be the villain in the new doctor strange movie: Multiverse Of Madness or... M.O.M.
A distinction no one is making is that when things enter Westview, they don't just become period appropriate, but appropriate for a family friendly tv show of that era. Its not like they didnt have haz mat suits and climbing rope in the 60s. Haz mat suits have existed for hundreds of years and climbing rope for thousands of years. No, like everything else the town they are made more appropriate FOR THE CHILDREN. dun dun dunnnnn
15:40 Hey, this is describing the scene with Vision and Norm from Episode 5!
I've been watching it with my parents. I haven't showed anything of the MCU to my mom until episode four because that is when she started get confused about what was going on. I showed her scenes from Infinity War and Endgame to help her understand. To her initially, it was just random weird stuff happening in the sitcom world. I think people not knowing the major events of the MCU may not fully get it.
The real secret villain of Wandavision is Corn of Coblin!
Played by one Michael Joseph Jackson?

In the first 3 episodes Agnes also wears a pendant similar to the one Harkness wears in the comics. In the comics I she has a working relationship with Mephisto and I believe that is her husband Ralph in the show. A partner hidden from view. In episode 2 her rabbit's name is Señor Scratchy and Mr. Scratchy or just Scratch is a somewhat common nickname for the Devil. Mephisto is Marvel's version of the devil. The pendant she wears in the show has a depiction of 3 witches. In MacBeth the three witches are the ones who tempt and trick Macbeth into his own undoing through temptation. In Wandavision she puts the idea of marriage into Wanda's head and at the end of the episode Wanda creates the rings for them to wear. In the second episode Agnes mentions the idea of children and at the end of the episode Wanda is pregnant. I believe she is tricking Wanda into creating a perfect reality to live in but for a sinister reason. She wants Wanda to have a perfect life because when she realises it is not real it will make her snap mentally and she is powerful enough to break through to other realities where Mephisto is and that is Agnes' ultimate goal. Heck in episode 2 Dottie mentions "the devil is in the details" to which Agnes states "that's not the only place he is". Everytime Vision starts to come to realise what is really going on Wanda walks it back and reverses it...... Except at the end of episode 3 where Agnes lets Herb say just enough to give Vision doubts but she stops Herb from giving the full truth.
(would the government really trust another secret military similar to Shield after what's already happened in the MCU?) That is also why they swarmed her after she was jettisoned from the portal. She wasn't working with them.
There is definitely more to her than meets the eye. In episode 4 when they are identifying everyone it shows their pictures on the board but Agnes's does not have a name filled in, nor does it have a NJ license to verify who she is.
And this is more a question than anything..... How can Vision have experiences outside of Wanda's experiences if some part of him isn't there as well.
I just read a web article that speculated that they thought off camera Husband Ralph is Mephisto, & in the comics, he steals the twins. 🤔
@@dafttool a large part of my theory was a combination of parts of other theories I had heard. Except the Agnes directly manipulating Wanda into becoming more attached to the fake reality and using her powers to achieve some goal by setting her up to snap part. That part I came up with after learning the significance of the 3 Witches pendant Agnes wears. But yes, he takes the Twins in the comics because they are made from pieces of him. Which might work here as well. What if Vision is actually just a corpse and memories, that would make the Twins the first life she has created. Possibly by unknowingly (or knowingly) borrowing the life essence from Mephisto
I really, really hope Mephisto is involved. The Ghost Rider movies butchered his character.
I just invision James standing in front of the mirror singing "Wa-Wanda Vision, Wa-Wanda Vision,” and brushing his hair. I'd watch 20 minutes of that.
To the tune of Chucklevision?
inVISION?... I see what you did there.

The reason why Mason has never appeared in his own podcast is because he is a figment of Mr sunday's imagination. The weekly planet is a little pocket dimension where James has created a split persona (Nick Mason) after a tragic event in college, where the real Nick Mason was tragically forgotten in an industrial accident. One time Steele Saunders was close to discovering the truth to the weekly planet pocket dimension but was thrown out to never guest appear ever again
Who else was SUPER happy when they saw Darcy back on our screens!? 😆
Her voice is kinda annoying but she’s cool
And she got a doctorate since we last saw her!
Honestly thought she was cute but kinda out of place in the Thor movies. Love her characterization here
Shes so snarky and rude and I absolutely love it 😂🤣
I NEED scene with her and Jessica Jones
I'll admit, I never liked her in the thor movies... They literally took kat dennings from every other TV show she's been in and plopped the same character (from 2 broke girls and raising dad) into the MCU... She was waaaaay more likeable in WandaVision!
And her and Jimmy Woo had fantastic chemistry together!
Wanda = main actress, director, writer
Agatha and Mephisto = the producers
Essentially I think.
I'm thinking that the sitcom reality bubble is the manifestation of Wanda's inability to cope with Vision's death through her powers.
Yeah. For sure. “Basic” psychology. Makes sense.
Duh ....
The real question, imo, is whether or not she’s doing it alone, since Wanda’s powers in the MCU have been significantly reduced from her comic version, so for her to suddenly be warping reality may just be retconning her to have always been that powerful, or it might suggest a figure like Mephisto might be helping her...
@@laurenbastin8849 Or conversely the trauma of what happened in Endgame has taken her powers up several levels.
When they showed Vision's corpse in a moment that will haunt my dreams the first thing I thought was "I can't believe James called this exact thing happening. I was very proud of him for getting that right.
I don't understand the people that hate this show. As you said it's literally what it was advertised as. Also I genuinely hate sitcoms but I love this show.
I don’t think people hate this show, it’s just for some people the sitcom aspect hasn’t really worked so far
It's because people are annoying. Disney/Marvel could not have prepared us for this show and how it would be presented any better, and people still weren't ready. That's on them, not the billion dollar company lol
Everybody expected an action-packed Marvel hero show. We got an old era sitcom with vague easter eggs... I liked it, but I think it’s because I watched the trailers.
I love that James said "wondering", and his accent makes it sound like "Wanda-ring", and neither of them even noticed!
“So in the comics, SWORD stands for...”
*I had to look that up*
Lmao. Mason didn’t miss a beat.
It feels weird not having heard 'Aren't we a fine pair?' anymore
I hope the “villain” is Wanda’s grief, and not Mephisto or some other manipulator. It would be so much more interesting to be an exploration of Wanda’s psyche and denial as her abilities burgeon.
I'm big on the devil aspect. I mean who's a more threatening vilian than Thanos? The Devil himself!

We see Mjolnir on a table in that movie without destroying it and falling through the floor. This means you could theoretically put Mjolnir on an elevator floor and it would still go up because it's an inanimate object without the capacity to be worthy or unworthy
@@exzyyd392 I did immediately think of the elevator problem, and they even addressed it in the movie. But at the same time Vision is capable of thought and an elevator isn't which complexes things

I don't think he's literally walking around with the ding in his head. I think this is less illusion on more like literally like an Alice in Wonderland minscape world, so Vision looks normal, because in this reality he is, but because this place is controlled by Wanda's mind,s he can accidentally "remember" him being dead, and that's what causes him to look dead.
I think it would be great if "Husband Ralph" finally does appear on screen, and he's played by Benedict Cumberbatch. (Doctor Strange has entered the bubble trying to rescue Wanda, and gets caught up in her spell for awhile.)

Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore 2010 Full Movie Comedy what's your opinion and what movie called thoughts
I don't like how the snap has been dealt with after Endgame with everyone suddenly reappearing exactly where they were 5 years prior and causing a ton of chaos. I always imagined that Hulk would have been able to bring everybody back in the best, least damaging way possible using the stones so people came back in a safe place knew what had happened to minimise fear and confusion
Agreed. Maybe it’d be less dramatic, but I want the Avengers to be actual superheroes that help people. That hospital scene looked about as traumatizing as the snap that took them all away.
I was waiting for y’all !!!!!
I think that Wanda is essentially replacing the stone in visions forehead. Since her powers came from it she's feeding her powers back into him. That also might be why they need to be in the town because it's essentially keeping him on life support as long as he's within Wanda's influence
Still wondering why Tony Stark couldn't just fix Vision in the 5 year interim using Cho's technology. He can't figure out how to fix a robot created with still existing tech like the cradle, despite Shuri rewiring most of Vision's neural network before he died. He can't duplicate Pym particles, but he can create time travel. Yet Thanos and his crony can duplicate Pym particles, but cannot figure out how to make an army of giant soldiers or how to use it for time travel without Stark's devices? Some things make little sense in the MCU at times.
Maybe the vision one isn’t a question of if he could, but a question of if he would. I think Tony was largely done fighting after infinity war, not to mention the fact that realistically the worst thing to have happened to earth, happened. I could very easily see him figuring theres no point on continuing to fortify earth after they already lost to the big bad
this is the most hilarious yt channel on earth. i swear it
Good on this show for actually making me want to go back and actually appreciate Age of Ultron. At the time that one came out it was bit slow and felt like this mediary between the better action oriented avengers films. I appreciate it now for that, the party, the farm, the banters. Age of Ultron might be new favorite in hindsight
Just felt like rewatching your Wandavision reviews, and wasted like 5 mins trying to find your ep1-3 reviews 😂
I agree with the statements around the 6:00 mark. This episode actually handled the 'Blip' much better than Spider-Man did, and showed why the world sort of just stopped for 5 years. Hospitals were understaffed, families were separated and people were just in shock. Whereas in Spider-Man they just played it off as a meme instead of exploring the consequences of going through something like that.
Well another possible theory from New Rockstars is that the rabbit Scratchy is Mephisto. It makes sense in context.
Did the guy come back from Holiday LESS Australian? He sounds like a different person, lol.
I am loving this show so far, but it absolutely was made to be binge-watched, IMO.
First two eps were entertaining enough, but the 3rd episode was really where it kicked off. I went from "I think this has potential" to "am super-invested and am counting down the hours until the next episode after ep3.
I truly think that the very beginning of Episode 4 the whole blip scene before the credits should have been how the whole show opened up in episode 1. So its not revealing too much but gives just enough to keep you invested...That way casual fans wouldn't be so confused about it.
I am calling it now Monica's boss sent her on purpose because he's either a HYDRA agent or works for mephisto. There's no way it's a coincidence that he sent the only person who can get through
The obvious prevalence of the Hexagonal shape, (as well as its in-universe colloquium as, "the Hex,") has GOT to be a sly, (or, not so much,) reference to Wanda Maximoff's original Comic Book portrayal, in which she so often refers to her Scarlet Witch abilities as her, "Hex Powers."
(Seriously lol look it up!)
She was shown constantly saying stuff like; "They'll be no match for my Hex Powers!" and, "Wait until they get a taste of my Hex Powers!" (etc., etc., and so on and so forth...)
It's really the only little, "connection," to the existing source material, besides the appearance of, "S.W.O.R.D." that I've been able to suss out, so far, anyway. So, I'm totally rolling with it!
Edit;
And Wanda, let's remember, disappeared along with everybody else during the first Thanos, "snap-pening," RIGHT after watching Thanos pull the Mind Stone out of his forehead and toss his colorless, lifeless body to the side.
She literally turned to dust while sitting next to his corpse, mourning on the ground in the woods outside Wakanda.
Her reaction to her own sudden reappearance, only to realize she's come back to a life where Vision is STILL dead, it's probably safe to assume she was still in a quite delicate period of her grief process, right then.
We know she eventually comes out of it by the time she joins with the Avengers in upstate New York when Thanos destroys the new Avengers HQ in Endgame, so whatever is going on in this show will either have to take a pause for those events soon, and then come back, or end altogether so she can be there in time to tell Thanos, "You took EVERYTHING from me!!" during that epic final battle, when everyone else who had been, "blipped back," showed up to fight.
I'm just sayin' 🤜 💥 🤛
I find it interesting that for "the snap." You either were the 50% that lost 5 years and now have to readjust OR you were the 50% who stayed and lost the people around you and had to find a way to move on while leaning on each other.
Wanda had to go through both. Not only did she lose five years of her life but her husband is still dead. All the other Avengers had each other to lean on for five years to help with their grief. She came back (for her moments after Vision's death), everyone else got their loved ones back and she didn't
That serious impact from coming back from the snap was so amazing. It really made the world more realistic. I wanted to see that in far from home.
Going by the fact that FFH was a quick bit of exposition they couldn’t have done that, mainly because it was clearly played for a couple of jokes in that bit. But yes, seeing the hospital scene really brought back the “what about the people in planes? On boats? In any other precarious situation?” Thoughts.
Pretty sure the agent who is in the hazmat/bee keeper suit is called Agent Franklin. Maybe a friendly nod to Franklin Richards?
For some reason when you mentioned the love studio audience I just imagined the viewers getting flashed with their prompts but its just
LAUGH (Derogatory)
I'm still going with my theory that as Wanda starts losing control of the reality, Vision walks out of the bubble and survives it, to become the white Vision. 5 to go by the way guys. 9 episodes.
Finally a video I can enjoy in 2021
I'm loving this show so much, but for those who aren't sure you need to have patience
Schrödinger's Vision.
He's dead and alive at the same time. Superposition Avenger.
Something I noticed in the episode is that they mentioned the boundaries of the field being hexagonal. I found this interesting because in GotG and Captain Marvel, the space travel is shown as traveling through hexagonal holes. I wonder if the two are related somehow.
I see AIM being mentioned everywhere in other comment sections because their logo in the comics is a hexagon. Can’t remember what the logo in the MCU looks like
This is by far more enjoyable then Endgame, change my mind.
But in all seriousness it really is so refreshing and different from anything Marvel has done and it's such a nice change of pace.I'll take a better story over punch, punch, kick, kick. (I hope they bring this kind of tone to the Xmen when they show up)
I actually like you're guys theory the best out of everyone I've heard. with her seeking help and building upon memories.
That intro is the best!!!!
"Martin Freeman pre-death Coulson"
Is it weird that I know exactly what he meant, even though Freeman and Clark Gregg are different people?
Yeah definitely don’t think they mistimed the placing of this episode it works perfectly for the story and the other episode gave you just enough hook and mystery
