3:00 Tackling a player in their own in goal area results in the kicking team rewarded possession again through a line drop out hence why the NSW tackler pulled him back over his own try line.

@@NoMercy4k they also have to always be in 'momentum' ie moving or movement in that direction. you cant stop and move again (similar to travelling in NBA) otherwise it's a penalty for a second effort.

At 2:58 it’s basically like a Safety, if you get tackled with the ball in your area of the field you then have to drop-kick the ball and either kick short and hope you get the ball back or kick long and have the opposition far from the try-line.

I was there at the MCG stadium for my first state of origin game. So happy for the blues
I mean you can get upset with someone grabbing your shirt but I can guarantee all of those dudes would knock you out in one hit if they could 😂 it’s not worth it to be banned and go through the NRL judicial system. They used to be able to punch on but the rules changes unfortunately

Watching this again made me laugh when Latrell flattened Reece. I know Reece Looks like a little boy against someone like Stephen Crichton but he's 5'10". Latrell is Huge.
In the first biff session I noticed, for the first time, that Latrell tossed Reece aside like he was a used tissue.
I noticed there was no boo-hoo criticism after Game 2 about Blues players targetting Reece. Because Latrell is Latrell and they're both Indigenous so there was no "racism" involved.
Its a shame we lost Latrell to injury for Game 3 but I'm sure he'll be back in 2025.
