The magnum opus... I remember playing Organisation the first time... obviously knew Enola Gay, so the album (real vinyl !) started off on a hugh... got better as it went along. Flipped it over and got to the end of the second side. And there... was Stanlow. Holy Moly. These lads were barely out of their teens when they wrote that. I could barely play a CDG chord progression at that age :D :D It's a song inspired by an oil refinery in North West England. Look up pictures of it, quite breathtaking at night when it is lit up. The opening strains are recordings made of the refinery works. I remember as a teenager playing Stanlow more than any other track on that album and it's great that it's been added back to the live set.

I cherish the time that I get to spend with old friends of Mine, especially when We are Abel to bring '"🎉The Magic🎉” back
Some of their early equipment is in the Museum of Liverpool.
That's very brave. Not a song that I know as an old OMD fan. This concert would have been very disappointing to me.
Anyone got a tracklist??
What was the first song they sang?
Stanlow, off the Organisation album 1981. It brings back specific childhood memories for me🙄
@@Mark-lj9nu For me too! 😊

They're over sixty, you dont want them taking off their tops. Or do you?
