It boggles my mind that Portugal doesn't have a major theme park resort. I mean Portugal seems like the ideal European country to build a theme park, (Climate, Tourist hotspot, etc). Portugal is the closest Florida in Europe. Great video btw!
Thank you! I totally agree with you, but it’s also important to note that Portugal has became a tourist destination in the not so distant past so Spain became that… Either way, there should’ve been a theme park many years ago!

Percorrer uma avenida com várias sugestões de visita, através de pratos gastronómicos, arquitectura, convivência, livros, vestuário, tudo a moda em diferentes épocas nas diferentes regiões em Portugal! A mais, as ideias estão boas, em geral, acerca dos descobrimentos e dos navios, o marketing pode estar bom, e no plano detalhado, gostaríamos mais de ver o detalhe da história, presente e futuro de Portugal! Tragam tecnologia! Drones, como no espetáculo de fim de ano em Albufeira, e todo o gênero de máquinas que assistam o ser humano no diversão! ✨
I hope that this project will never come to fruition. The Baixo Minho is an area of great natural and scenic value and an enclave of peace and tranquillity. I understand that for many people this could be a great opportunity to make money, develop the area economically (probably with low paid and low quality jobs) and have fun but this cannot be done at the expense of Nature and those of us who enjoy this area (locals and outsiders) as it is right now.
God I hope this one actually happens and that it makes some other investors consider a park more near lisbon. As a huge theme park fan from portugal I'm so frustrated that I have to leave the country any time I want to go on a good roller coaster lol
That’s a good point. When comparing it to the Magic Kingdom, we need to remember that the Disney park is the most attended theme park in the world with an average of 55.000+ guests per day! This wouldn’t be anywhere near that number, so it’s much easier to manage! I did assume that the bridge would be used for just backstage, but it’s possible for it to be guest accessible as well, so there’s that.

@@themainstreetnews Sim eu concordo com o que dizes,já de ser em uma pequena ilha existe aquela disconfiança,eu não sou daqueles que reclama que tem que ser tudo em Lisboa ou Porto,o importante é ser em Portugal hehe apesar que Algarve tem diversos parques aquáticos e spots para os turistas,mas acredito que cidades como Braga ou joias que não são tão visitadas como Viana do castelo iriam ganhar muito hehe eu sou contra o turismo em extremo,há que saber administrar,mas iriam ganhar muito e como bem dizeste Vigo também fica perto então não seria mal de todo,a tematica eu acho bastante interessante e gostaria que levassem a cabo esse parque,isso podia ser um empurrão para fazer mais parques temáticos em Portugal que bem precisa,os parques aquáticos são bons,mas parques temáticos tem um gabarito mais alto sem dúvida
Interesting, but if this park does get build, it will be destined to fail imo. You're not going to sustain for a (very) long time if you don't provide major rides like roller coasters.
I don't share this opinion actually. I love trill rides and coasters, truly do, but there are a genre of theme parks in Europe that not only don't have them but also no rides. Puy de Fou is completely focused on shows and entertainment and people love them!

I agree with you, and in my opinion, the best location would be somewhere between 50-80km north of Lisbon, combining a closer proximity to the country´s largest city and touristic destination, whilst still being a 2h30-3h car or bus ride from the majority of the portuguese population. There was a project in the past decade for a theme park in Bombarral that would have been, in my opinion, a great location.

Not all Theme parks must to have roller coasters,people have to start giving more value to the simplest things and a good story of an attraction

Portugal is full of abandoned theme parks which have failed and been left to rust. Here comes another.
Portugal has never had any real theme park, there are none rusting. We do have plenty of cheap abandoned water parks.
