In my opinion i found Saddam a fascinating leader and really wanted to meet him personally but he died when i was 2 weeks 9 years old. I read the book about Latif Yahia(Uday's former body double who is saddams first son) and watched the movie as well. And also uncle Saddam, Saddam's tribe and House of Saddam. But i must say he is like 50% good and 50% bad.
I loved how he turned Iraq in a Great country once with countless magnificent details like gold, weapons, mosques and lots of other things. What i did not like about him is how he killed countless people in his own country and allowed even his son to do unspeakable things even though they did not commit any crimes nobody should have faced that as an innocent person. My condolences to the families in Iraq, Iran and Kuwait who were killed by Saddams men. He should have respected his own religion more just like Khomeini and his Kuwaiti neighbor king. Bcs he cared 80% more for his Ba'ath party instead of his religion.
Bcs in Islam its not allowed to kill someone or invade a country like he did. It was just some stupid political thing that he was so thirsty in power.

Very well explained, I have the same opinion of him. His mindset was like mini Stalin , he justified killing so many Iraqis(both political opposition and civilians) just out of Suspicion so he stays in power .

@@AhmedAlkabasi he did many bad things including killing 5000 kurds with chemicals, how can he be good? I am against Israel and US govt criminals, but i don't think Saddam was good Muslim leader atall..he adopted unislamic ideology of Baathism and controlled Iraq with Fear and terror that no one can speak or criticize him.
