Pregnancy, and having an infant/young child isn’t celebrated by label decision makers because it’s bad for business. It impedes significantly on the availability of your artist, their capacity to work/perform, and their image/brand which is an incredibly important facet in success. A group or artist who hasn’t established a career yet, can literally end their career with a pregnancy. It’s unfair that it’s a plight specific to women entertainers, but pregnancy is a condition specific to women. Anyone who cares about the success of their artist and believes in their talent is going to be concerned about a pregnancy. Especially when it’s dropped on you 5 months in, and you aren’t able to develop a plan or predict recovery etc.
Bruh they split it into a series I wish it was that 1hr but I’m still happy for yung Miami holding it down for the city girls and of course her self ❤️
