Thanks Audrey - great kiln - I loved it all - I thought the little Amaco pear vase was lovely - the berry bowls are great and the flower frogs were great kiln fillers. It looks as though the engobe feet don't stick to the shelves? Thanks again for sharing, Jan.
I love the small amount of texture on the inside handle of the whale mug! Such a special little detail. That melon looks like it has fall pumpkin possibilities…. The poppy fields looks great over the snow! I also love all the strawberry stuff, I made a strawberry pie plate for my mother in law for Mother’s Day. Came out sweet. Great unload, thanks for sharing. 😊
As per usual it's wow wow wow. As always you've created such beautiful pieces. The glazing is flawless. The teeny fish bowls are adorable. The little yellow bud vase came out really well. Reminds me of 60 's 70's style pattern/ colour. Take care Happy potting and keep those hand's dirty playing in clay.
Oh wow that whale mug is stunning! Finally a northern lights I loooove gotta try that sangria on the way! The seahorse mug is super cute did u use cutters? Need to re kiln wash my cookies lol. So fun again lovely unload xx
Thanks, Nat! NORTHERN LIGHTS!...RIGHT? It's a good one! I never really had success until I started glazing them this way. I think the seahorse is Temu. I actually tried to find the link but got fed up. I will see if I can find it for you. Happy Creating!
Hey Audrey, I loved watching this kiln opening. And your decal / glaze combos are fab. Thanks for sharing that. I'm going to check out your recommended northern lights combo too 🙂
Thank you so much for watching and for your very kind comments! YES! Try out that Northern Lights! I really like that method of creating the combo. Others, just didn't work for me as well. Happy Creating!
@@AudreyLynnStudios Thanks Audrey. I wonder if you wouldn't mind sharing the firing schedule you used? I've tried Camille Hoffman's slow cool schedule and I didn't much like how the glazes turned out. But your glazes look lovely here. You mentioned some of your holds and temperatures, but I wondered about the full schedule.
Nice! Kiln Load! Wowser on the whale mug! Your client is going to happy to get that one! Glad to see you trying some Jungle Gems I love Using them! Under glaze transfers are Really Good too! Ive used Spectrum Stains a lot Seams like you don't have to put so many layers on as the under glazes as it is a stain you can get that watercolor look on clay,,,, and what you see when it wet is pretty much what it fires too..... They also last a long time. not sure on price it's been awhile since I have bought some. you can also mix the colors and again What you see when its wet is what you get when its fired. Happy Potting and Loved the kiln opening!!!!!
WOW! Thanks for all that! It really appreciate it! I have never seen Spectrum stains, or do you mean underglazes? I just came back from the supply store, and they have just started stocking Spectrum underglazes. I bought a couple to try! Thanks for your kind compliments! Happy Creating!
Hi AudreyThey have under glazes then they have a line that's in the 500s called Under glaze. Then they have a series that is in the 600s that is called One Stroke under glaze. I have tried both I find that the One Stroke 600 series ...That the colors are way more vibrant and you don't have to layer as much. Im not sure but I think all under glaze has some clay in it ....I have found that the One Stroke Spectrums are very vibrant , You will use less underglaze to get a solid color with the One Stroke Series and they mix well to make new colors,,,,, They are a lot like watercolors. I actually use them in a watercolor tray. let them dry out and re-wet them the color is that strong.... Don't get me wrong there under glazes are good too. It's just that the 600 one stroke series last a long time you get your moneys worth and you cut your time down with all the layering. I really like them. You guys take the time to make these great videos I just want to share some tips back. Happy potting
Hi Audrey, what a lovely kiln opening! I’m just now catching up with your videos. I love the whale and seahorse mugs and all your strawberry pieces. All your pieces turned out great!😍 Btw, I’ve made a berry bowl inspired by you!❤
Thank you so much, Ana! I get it! Summer is busy! I am really looking forward to seeing your Berry bowl! I was preparing for a show on July 20th, but they 😞 canceled. Bummer. Oh well, more time to create for markets in the fall. ❤️
LOVE ALL OF IT!! You always have such a great variety of things on your unloadings. I really love the yellow vases with the underglaze transfers! The daintiness is beautiful! I also LOVE the little speckling you do with the toothbrush. May I ask what color you use to do that with? Thanks. Nice seeing you again. Oh and the strawberry bowl with the creaminess on the rim is awesome. I bet the strawberry decals would look great over that speckled clay and then with that coyote pink color glaze!!!!
Hi Michele, thank for your compliments. I just did the specks with black but really, you can use any colour depending on your project! Nice idea with the UG transfers under the summer peach! Thanks again!
@@AudreyLynnStudios I was just thinking today that I’m going to try and use some of the engobes to do splatters!!! Im wondering if they wil come through a celadon glaze. I’ll do a few test tiles to see.
Thanks for your kind compliment. I don't have a tutorial, but when I am back from holiday, I will get on it. It shouldn't take long. Thanks for asking! 🐟
Like the colour of the first berry bowl (blue) … the fishy plate looks great … the sea horse mug is awesome… do you drink out of it or put it on a stand as a work of art?

Love your kilnopening! I am worried right now about my cookies, never put kilnwash on it😮. Right now it is burning for a glaze fire😂 love your nothern light and seahorse❤
