Abbey of Sant'Antimo - Montalcino - Tuscany

Sant'Antimo is an ancient abbey inhabited over the centuries by Benedictine monks and founded, according to legend, by Emperor Charlemagne. The church, built in the 12th century, is considered one of the masterpieces of medieval architecture. Sant'Antimo Montalcino Val d'Orcia Toscana.
Mirabile Abbazia Carolingia. Forse fondata proprio da Carlo Magno stesso di passaggio da queste parti a destinazione Roma.
La bellezza struggente di questo luogo infonde al visitatore pace e serenità...E' un LUOGO DELL'ANIMA...e si può percepire che quà è passato qualcuno di veramente GRANDE -
