#Oprah is one of the most influential television hosts of our generation. At one point she was named the most powerful black woman in America. Now people are starting to question #OprahWinfrey and some of her actions. Why is she friends with CREEPS like #HarveyWeinstein YET she drags Michael Jackson. Oprah is full of hypocrisy and poor choices. So let's get into it.

Me and my mom went to this Studio in Hollywood and I remember just being excited but my mom got a bad vibe from this dude who was a Hollywood executive. My mom told me after that meeting "i don't want you doing this." You are one person. There are some people who don’t realise they’re being abused due to the attention. Some people do feel good by being touched in certain ways. They don’t know it’s wrong. Some kids don’t realise what’s happening and that’s what makes the abuser ‘good’. They are able to do it without the victim knowing it’s wrong. I know several people who went through this. That wasn’t *your* experience, but you cannot speak for all victims because they are not you. Maybe Oprah was speaking about herself. That’s the reason I can’t get through interviews that either Jimmy Fallon or Howard Stern do. As far as Howard it really irritates me because unlike Jimmy (probably because he’s on radio and can ask what he wants) he actually asks really interesting questions that I don’t see other people asking and celebs for whatever reason feel comfortable answering even really personal stuff but the problem is he doesn’t shut up long enough for anyone to finish their answers. He asks a question, let’s them start saying really interesting things then before they finish he asks the follow up question and does it the whole interview. I can’t tell you how many times guests would be in the middle of revealing really interesting sometimes very personal things they’ve never revealed publicly and he keeps cutting them off. With Jimmy most of the interviews I see now it’s so obvious he just does not give a shit what the person is talking about. He wants a short answer so he can ask the next planned question and be done. There’s a reason he’s famous for that awful fake laugh, he’s not at all interested. I started looking at comments to see if people agreed and most comments are usually complaining about the same thing. I recently watched a Seth Meyers’ interview with Taylor Swift and most comments were mentioning how good the interview was because Seth mostly just let her talk, seemed genuinely interested and Taylor seemed very comfortable when she isn’t always in interviews and everyone was comparing it to Jimmy’s interviews. Another person I think is really good at this Stephen Colbert. He’s a great interviewer and is very thoughtful about follow up questions and one of the few who don’t seem creepy with young female celebs. I was a kid when Oprah had her show so I never watched. Sorry this was unintentionally long 😂.

I've never liked Oprah, ever since I was a teen. I don't remember the name of the family or the boy, but basically a boy went missing when he was eight or nine and was held captive between two men for ... something like ten years. Oprah invited the family onto the show with a promise of getting the parents professional help for their son, and they agreed under one condition. That Oprah didn't ask them or their son about SA. Their son hadn't been open about it with anyone, even though everyone suspected that's why he was held captive. Partway through the interview, Oprah said, verbatim, "I'm just gonna come out and say it. Do you think he was SAed?" The parents started crying, clearly didn't want to answer, and it was just horrendous. Absolutely monstrous thing to ask them on live television. I was 14 at the time and even at that age I remember thinking, "What tf was that, Oprah?"

It’s really troubling how some people have twisted Oprah’s words in that scene. She’s not calling an abuser “good”-she is referencing abusers that groomed their victims so well that they tricked them into believing they wanted the abuse. This happens to MANY victims, and it’s a deep shame many carry with them. Oprah is shining light on this shame and saying it is not a burden for the victim to carry, but for the abuser. That’s why she’s saying if the abuser is “good” enough (at grooming/manipulating the child), the child will not understand it’s abuse at the time and will think it was a relationship or a special bond. She’s not being creepy, and she’s speaking for many victims who have felt shame for “liking” the abuse at the time.

I went to an Oprah seminar once I was a very huge fan. O didn't do a meet and greet for free. So lined up to see her friend Gayle. I was literally less than a foot from Gayle and I said hi, she never even made eye contact like I didn't exist. I didn't sign up for the $180 O Mag special membership because it was too expensive for me at that time because of my salary. It was as if I didn't matter to Gayle and I didn't exist. It was awkward and made me realize if O was close friends with someone like that....then that says a lot. I remember feeling down and realized it wasn't such a good idea to idolize people when they don't even care about their supporters. It was eye opening. I still admire some celebrities but I am no longer a super fan of anyone after the incident.

Something we seem to forget is that a lot of victims of s3xual assault become predators who have no sympathy for others who experience the pain and trauma they went through. The rabbit hole goes deep and it's very hard to understand but I have met so many victims who feel like it's no big deal, or they want to inflict that pain onto others. I've even met a few that were abused at a young age and now they have an s3xual obsession with children. The human mind is a deep well full of mysteries that science can not explain, yet. The quote “ Hurt people, hurt people.” comes to mind. You never know how trauma will affect a person's psyche, this is why you have to pay attention to the signs and red flags. I have ignored red flags multiple times, it always ends badly for me and I'm left with another deep wound that I have to heal. Thank goodness it hasn't cost my life or freedom

It seems like every time someone is sent to a "facility" they just get worse and worse afterward. That is because facilities are generally very traumatizing. It isn't the healing experience some people might think. It's more like an institution, or a prison. Whether it's substance use disorder or an eating disorder, placing people under lock and key and monitoring their every move is very very damaging. These disorders have a lot to do with feeling out of control, so trying to force people into recovery is so counterproductive. This just makes them experience even more compulsions--it's the brain's attempt at compensating.

If you listen to his later music you can tell he's trying to tell us something especially in the song They Don't Care About Us. If Michael hadn't agreed to take a deal on the very first case in 1993 none of these other allegations would have come out. Although Michael didn't want to pay and he wanted to fight it in court, his management convinced him that it would be better to pay to make it go away... only because it would interfere with the Dangerous world tour. There needs to be a real deep dive into Oprah. It will be at least 2 hours long because there is so much that needs to be discussed in a complete presentation of the subject.

We are living in a NEW ERA!
It’s only right we put a stop to things, hold people accountable for what they say and do, and dig deeper to see who someone really is!
Sloan is doing very good, real work, this isn’t just some little UA-cam channel.

"It feels good...If the abuser is any good, you wont even know it happend" just sounds like shes desensitizating and watering down sexual abuse, which is disturbing. The people nodding their heads in the crowd agreeing though......💆🏾‍♀️. I hope people start holding her accountable !
