The contrast between the Hoshidan and Nohr musical themes is really fun, the dueling Asian and European instruments and melodies give each side an excellent feeling of culture and legacy.
Damn, I wish I could go back to when this game was new. Fates is so close to my heart, and this is definitely one of the most memorable tracks from Nohr.
Far Dawn vs Dusk Falls, part 3/4: You can immediately feel the tension the moment this theme begins to play, and this theme does an amazing job of holding that tension throughout the entire song. It also seems to carry a subtle sense of danger, as if to imply that while you're safe now, there is something lurking, waiting for its time to strike. This theme is one of deceptive calm to me. Score: 8.5/10 This theme is amazing all around from beginning to end, but 1:43 sold me on it completely. That part of the theme is just perfection. As I said, the tension is held through the entire song, and it gives me chills (the good kind, naturally)
I don’t care what anyone says, Fates is one of the best FE games ever. Its story isn’t that bad, and while there definitely are some things that could be improved with it, it’s far from horrible. The music is truly some of the best in the entire FE series, and I honestly think both this game and Awakening deserve second chances on Switch or the next gen system.
AKA: Gunter's Theme (or the song that plays on the map where Gunter Solos all the Hoshidian Prisoners with the help of a sheltered Nohrian Prince/Prince and an obsessive maid/butler).
if only Camilla wasn't treated as simply fanservice, and they acknowledged she DEFINITELY has separation anxiety and a mother complex and actually just put more effort into her she could have been one of the best characters like ever. Probably could even have been up there with Dimitri for best character development if she had gotten any. But, unfortunately, Fates was just a money grab since Awakening revived the series.
@@theseafaringsaxophone440 Thanks. Thats what I think of her, to be honest. She really could have been an interesting character in my opinion, because usually characters like her who are obsessed with the mc/player character are always kind of taken as jokes. I would have loved to see a character who was like this who actually wasn't completely a joke, who actually was given the fleshing out she deserved in her supports and stuff.
You can tell FE started getting lazy after it made Awakening, then once everybody hated Fates they were like "maybe we shouldn't be lazy and how about we don't kill the series AGAIN". That's why it's obvious to tell they tried harder on three houses.
And this is why Awakening is my top favorite instead of 3H or Fates. Awakening's story and character were too good. I feel like the majority of people that play would pick 3H and the long time people would pick otherwise, like Radiance or the older ones.
@@JCZ-0381 I loved Fates' gameplay though. That was the one thing, along with music, that they DEFINITELY got right. Besides the RNG fricking you over occasionally.

We've got trouble the musical
The most beautiful theme in all of Fire Emblem in my opinion, it feels so magical especially when the bagpipes start playing. 0:39
I think they're actually Irish uilleann pipes, but yes. It's one of my favorite parts of the song too.
I am listening to this while checking my students' outputs. FOR NOHR!!
Are we in Nohr or the Scottish Highlands?

I really like how birthright is based with medieval Japan If I’m not wrong and conquest is more as if medieval Europe
This game is so nastalgic to me
we’ve got trouble

One of my favorite songs of FE if
This feels like a song out of The Witcher 3, lovely song! This OST is fire so far!

Wow, wow what a track!
Hiroki Morishita my beloved..
This is my pose when I’m standing in front of a mirror. Pretty sure I have legal rights over it.
If you have the axe(ass*), you have the rights.

Interesting perspective.

One of my favorite Soundtracks
Legends of Fire Emblem (Legends of Arkensius x Fire Emblem): Nohr, Kingdom of Dark
Gunter theme
Dang it, you beat me to it.
@Skyrus456 lol
This was and still remains one of the best fire emblem songs of all time, in my no-so-humble opinion. Those who think otherwise, go cry about it.
We've got trouble
Obligatory main theme citation #6- 0:56

gorgeous track man I love FE fates despite everyone shitting on it
Does anyone know where the background comes from? I can’t find it anywhere online, and maybe I’m looking in the wrong spot?
Can someone overlay the regular and battle music of all these songs?
I am a simple man
mmmmm BOOBA
