What's funny in relation to the Pentecostal thing, is that some years ago God connected me to a Lutheran church (Missouri Synod). I was on fire for Jesus and was very familiar with the Word of God. I was always preaching faith, challenging doctrinal issues, but also was very involved in every facet of the church (e.g. VBS, Outreach, visitations) etc.. Anyway, unbeknownst to me, and exposed later, was that my fellow members called me the Pentecostal Lutheran lol. And yes, I had some Pentecostal background.

Some Scriptures about hell by Jesus himself and how not to go there: In Luke 16:19-31 Jesus describes a rich man that lived lavishly and a poor beggar man named Lazarus. It came to pass that Lazarus died and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom. The rich man died, was buried, then went to hell. 23 And in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in TORMENT, saw Abraham afar off and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue, for I am tormented IN THIS FLAME. 25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that you in your lifetime received good things, and likewise Lazarus received evil things, but now he is comforted and you are tormented. 26 And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that they which would pass from hence to you can not, neither can they pass to us, and would come from thence. 27 Then he said, I pray you therefore father, that you would send him to my father’s house. 28 For I have 5 brothers that he may testify unto them, lest also come into this place of torment. 29 Abraham said unto him, They have Moses and the prophets, let them hear them. 30 And he said, Nay father Abraham, but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.” LOCATION OF HELL: Jesus said in Matthew 12:40, ”For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly, so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the HEART OF THE EARTH.” Paul said in Ephesians 4:9, ”Now that he ascended, was it but that he also DESCENDED into the LOWER PARTS OF THE EARTH.” HELL IS A PLACE OF FIRE: Jesus said in Luke 16:24,”….Father Abraham have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue for I am TORMENTED IN THIS FLAME.” Jesus said in Matthew 13:42,”And shall cast them into a FURNACE OF FIRE, there shall be WAILING AND GNASHING OF TEETH.” Jesus said in Matthew 25:41,”Then shall he also say to them on the left hand, Depart from me, you cursed, INTO EVERLASTING FIRE, prepared for the devil and his angels.” Jesus said in Revelation 20:15,”And whosoever was not found written in the book of life, was CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.” HELL IS A PLACE OF TORMENT: Jesus said in Luke 16:23,”And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in TORMENT….” 24 …..for I am TORMENTED in this flame.” Jesus said in Revelation 14:11,”And the smoke of their TORMENT ascended up FOR EVER AND EVER, and they have no rest day or night….” Jesus said in Mark 9:45-46,”And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off, it is better for you to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the FIRE THAT NEVER SHALL BE QUENCHED. 46 Where their WORM DIES NOT, and the fire is not quenched.” Note that it doesn’t say “THE Worm”, it says “THEIR WORM” dies not. Jesus said in Revelation 21:8,”But the fearful and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whore mongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE, which is the second death.” Note that Brimstone is Sulfur and burns with a very strong odor of rotten eggs. The scriptures above prove when a person goes to hell they will constantly see hell, constantly smell hell, constantly feel the heat of hell, will constantly breath hell, will constantly hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth of others in hell, will constantly be aware of their own worms, they will have no rest day or night, there is no way out and it will continue for ever and ever, they can’t die because they are already dead. The following is how to not go there and it is a SIMPLE AND EASY thing to do: All of the book of Acts is what Jesus disciples said what we must to be SAVED - meaning not go to hell, which is repentance, water baptism in Jesus NAME, (Not the titles Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) and being baptized with the Holy Ghost. Jesus said in Mark 16:16,"He that believes and is BAPTIZED shall be SAVED, but he that believes not shall be damned." At about that same time He said in Matthew 28:19,"Go therefore and teach all nations BAPTIZING them in the name (SINGULAR name and not name's) OF the Father, and OF the Son, and OF the Holy Ghost." Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are titles and not names. Jesus disciples never used those words when they baptized anyone in water, nor did they use those words in one sentence regarding any other topic. Every time they said Jesus NAME at baptism which is Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-18, Acts 8:38, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 16:15, Acts 16:33, Acts 18:7, Acts 18:8, Acts 19:3-5, and Acts 22:16. Jesus said in John 3:3-7,"Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a man BE BORN AGAIN, he can not see the kingdom of God. 5 Verily, verily I say unto, Except a man be born of water AND of the Spirit, he can not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 7 Marvel not that I say unto you, YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN." Being born of water is being baptized in water which is for the REMISSION OF SINS - meaning the INITIAL remission of sins and not the confessing of sins later addressed in 1 John 1:9. Being born of the Spirit is being baptized with the Holy Ghost. What being baptized with the Holy Ghost means is addressed in Acts 2:3-4, (Pentecost), Acts 8:17, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, and Acts 19:3-5 - which is when the Spirit of Christ initially dwells in a person. Nowhere in Scripture does it say it happens any other way than that way. There is not one Scripture that says a person receives the Holy Ghost just because they are a believer. Paul said in Romans 8:9-11,”But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if so be that the spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, HE IS NONE OF HIS." Numbers 23:19, ”God is not a man that he should lie, neither the son of man, that he should repent, has he said and shall he not do it? And shall he not make it good?” Malachi 3:6,”For I am the Lord, I change not...” Hebrews 13:8,”Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” That means there is no reason to think that Jesus will make an exception and save someone that has not been baptized in water in Jesus NAME, and has not been baptized with the Holy Ghost. If you are convinced you need to get baptized in water in Jesus Name do a search and type in "United Pentecostal Church International", scroll down to just below the red box, type in your zip code, a screen will show a Church near you that will do that. Jesus said John 10:27, ”My Sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”
I was married to a pastor..who left me and our young son..and he decided to live with another woman..they disappeared..I waited a year and God provided all the money I needed for an attorney and a private investigator...I got the proof I needed..crickets for over a year..I got my divorce and full custody of our son..about 2 years after he left I got a call that he died by his own hands..as for me..God and I are close..my son is now 17 and doing well..God understands don't let anyone place u in legalistic bondage...be free, obey and trust God..u will be fine.m

Since i gave my life to Christ, I know he’s one of the greatest pastor’s of all time! May God give him many more years of health & happiness on this side of Heaven! I remember when I was homeless that people were giving me more religion than donations. I guess they assumed that I was not saved or that I had given up on God because of my situation. NO. IN FACT, MY FAITH ONLY GREW STRONGER AND I LEANED THE MORE ON THE LORD. Even when I was out on the streets, I still gave to people when they asked of me, I still went to church and I gave my tithes and I would still go out and evangelize. What a weak Christian I would have shown myself to be if I had given up or had caved in because of my circumstances. I worship and work for God in the good and the bad; because, this is not about me. IT IS ALL ABOUT DOING WHAT GOD HAS TOLD US TO DO. Amen.

That was extremely encouraging and comforting for I am a divorced woman myself and Left two marriages where I was broken and abused verbally and physically living in constant fear. I did what I thought was right at the time getting out of some thing that was destroying my life. The Lord took me back to college and I got my degree so that I could help people with disabilities both mental illness and those with intelldisabilities find work that suits them and help them be successful.

God, in His word, in Revelation 3:14-22, has told all of His church that He is displeased with this lukewarmness, and this generation will be vomited out of His mouth for the centuries of lukewarmness He has had to endure. He gives a remedy though, to those that will actually listen, and not say we are rich and in need of nothing, respond to the knocking and come out from among them. You must absolutely get back solely to the word of God. If you cannot find what you are doing for worship or service to God in God's word, then you must stop doing it. If your reliance is on a leader that tells you it is OK to do things that are not in God's word, turn from such leaders. If there are any leaders out there that have ears to hear, change your ways. Leaders of today, all that is in God's word is for today. if you are a believer and you are following and defending leaders who tell you something in God's word is not for today, turn and run and have nothing to do with them. Believers if you have a question, go to God directly. Time is running out and the end times are fast approaching, purify your worship and service to God before it is too late. Your eternal life is at stake. Jesus warned us over and over and over again to be ready. If you are following the words and traditions of man, you are not ready. Read God's word for yourself and ask Him to speak to you, which He does supernaturally, despite what some leaders say, and He will help you get ready for His return. Thank you, I sure needed to hear this. It can be overwhelming to keep sharing the Gospel truth with my daughter when her response is that I'm rejecting her because of some ungodly choices when my soul weeps for her to know true freedom in Christ. I have to continue to lay her at the feet of Jesus and believe he will complete the work he started in her heart at 5 when she accepted Him as Savior. I will keep telling the truth as long as the Lord tells me to.

When Christians go thru dark times... and YES Christians do go thru dark times too, it is when we learn the most and hear Gods voice the most-!!!! People think being Christian means being and living perfect all the time, NOT true. Look at King David, King Solomon, Abraham, Paul and on and on and on-!!! They went thru dark times and they heard God clearly. We are not prone to hardships... but we have a Heavenly Father who walks with us thru them-!! And when we mess up, if we come to him and repent and learn from it.. He is just and faithful to forgive us-!! Lord knows we ALL mess up at times. No one is without sin. But God is merciful through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior-!!!!

You will then be sealed with the Holy Spirit of Promise, Ephesians 1 13-14kjv. Paul is the Apostle to the Gentiles, Romans 11 13kjv, and we refer to Romans to Philemon for our salvation. I write this in love and with great appreciation Mr Charles Stanley and his ministry, however he did go against the written word of God in that he didn't step down from the office of bishop/overseer as a result of his divorce which is biblically required. Having a ''feeling, conviction etc'' doesn't mean you can go against the word of God. The final authority is the Bible. The word of God is the standard and not your emotions. Mr Stanley could still have had a ministry and taught the Bible without being a Bishop/overseer. In the end we are all sinners, myself included. With respect, your brother in Christ.

I'm 47 years of age & started listening to Dr. Charles Stanley's teachings in my mid 20's. On my opinion he is by far the best biblical teacher I've ever listened to! To this day I continue to glean from this great humble man of God. From radio sermons, to television sermons, to his books & magazines.....he is by far the most biblically based balanced Pastor I've ever listened to. I highly respect him & I pray God continues to strengthen him & bless him the rest of his days. He will definitely be in the books as one of the best preachers to ever live!

Jesus dined with His disciples; Mark 14:22-25, the night before He went to the cross. Jesus and His disciples were eating a Passover meal together at the Last Supper. After partaking of bread and wine (His body and His blood) , the Bible mentions the hymn Jesus sang with His disciples. “And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives” Mark 14:26. What were they singing on such an occasion? Psalms 113-118. THE GOOD NEWS "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me." John 14.6 Blood coming from his body, NAKED, hanging on that cross like Roman torture weapon! What a Lord God and Savior! He had to. HE is God the Son. Only His sinless blood could pay our sins price.1 John 2:1-2. The Savior was born to die for our sins so we could live through Him. I Subscribed. How can we hear it? Scripture tells us. Romans 10:17 "Then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (We receive the "word" in many ways. The "Word" is Jesus Christ!); John 1:1-5. God the Holy Spirit teaches through the Word of God in the Bible) Isaiah 7:14: "Therefore the LORD shall give you a sign; behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and call His name Immanuel. "God with us" in human flesh without sin. The Savior was born to die for our sins! He did so 33 years later. His terrible ordeal; body mutilated; blood poured out, died and was placed in a tomb and rose from the dead the 3rd day never to die again. He is the first fruits of the dead. Only through Him can dead live! Matthew 28:6. Isaiah 53:5 "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all." Romans 5:8 " But God demonstrates his love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, now justified by his blood, we will be saved from wrath through him." “For he (God) hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21. " In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;." Ephesians 1:7 Matthew 26: 28 "For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." (the life is in the blood. He had to pay with His life) BY GOD'S GRACE ALONE THROUGH FAITH ALONE IN JESUS CHRIST ARE WE SAVED Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast." Jesus died and paid the penalty for our sins to rescue us from eternal death. He died on our behalf. We believe in Him, trusting His death and shedding of His blood as payment for ALL our sins and His burial and resurrection from the dead the third day! John 20:24-31; again 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4 above. WHOSOEVER BELIEVES SHALL TESTIFY TO THE TRUTH Romans 10: 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” TO DIE IS TO REJECT SALVATION IN JESUS CHRIST AND BE SEPARATE FROM GOD FOREVERMORE Salvation and forgiveness of sins is the blessing of anyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We receive the baptism of God the Holy Spirit immediately which seals us in Christ and that is permanent! Ephesians 1:13-14. Those who reject the free gift of salvation, see John 3:16 above, "perish", which means their sins are judged by God the Son and they suffer eternal separation from God and the family of God forever called the "second death". Revelation 21:8.

Many ask their Priest or Pastor if speaking in Tongues as the Spirit gives utterance is needed to be Saved and they say something like, "Definitely not." Or they think something like, "I don't think I want to get involved with that speaking in Tongues type thing, that's a little too weird and hardcore for me." They say that because they don't know about the following scriptures, or have ignored them. Please note the information below is not taught at any Catholic or Protestant Church, nor is it taught at any Catholic or Protestant Seminary School, or at any Catholic or Protestant Divinity School. The following is some word for word scriptures about speaking in Tongues as the Spirit gives utterance: Jesus said in Mark 16:17,"And these signs shall follow them that believe, In my name shall they cast out devils, they shall SPEAK WITH NEW TONGUES." Acts 2:3-4, (Pentecost),"And it appeared to unto them cloven TONGUES LIKE AS OF FIRE, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST, and they began TO SPEAK WITH OTHER TONGUES as the SPIRIT GAVE THEM UTTERANCE." Acts 8:14-17,"Now when the apostles, which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John. 15 Who when they were come down, prayed for them that they MIGHT RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST. 16 For as yet he was fallen upon none of them, only they were BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS. 17 Then LAID THEY THEIR HANDS ON THEM and they RECEIVED THE HOLY GHOST." Acts 9:17-18, (Paul's baptism) "And Ananias went his way and entered into the house, and PUT HIS HANDS ON HIM and said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto you in the way as you came, has sent me, that you might receive your sight, AND BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST. 18 And immediately there fell from his eyes that as it had been scales, he received his sight forthwith, and arose, and was BAPTIZED." Acts 10:44-48, (Peter speaking to Cornelius and those with him), "While Peter yet spake these words, THE HOLY GHOST FELL ON THEM which heard the word. 45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, that on the Gentiles also was poured out the GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST. 46 For they heard them SPEAK WITH TONGUES and magnify God, and then answered Peter. 47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be BAPTIZED, which have received the HOLY GHOST as well as we. 48 And he commanded them to be BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF THE LORD." In Acts 19:1-6, Paul met 12 believers in Ephesus and asked them, 2 Have you received the Holy Ghost since you BELIEVED? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. 3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were you baptized? And they said unto John's baptism. 4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is on Christ Jesus. 5 When they heard this, they were BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS. 6 And when Paul LAID HIS HANDS ON THEM, the Holy Ghost came on them, and they SPOKE WITH TONGUES and prophesied." Those scriptures prove that just because a person is a believer does not mean they are automatically saved, and just because a person is a believer does not mean they automatically have the Holy Ghost. Jesus said in John 7:38-39,"He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly SHALL FLOW RIVERS OF LIVING WATER. 39 But this he spoke of the SPIRIT, which they that believe on him should receive, for the HOLY GHOST was not yet given, because that Jesus was not yet glorified." Paul said in Galatians 1:12 that he was not taught by any man, but was taught by Jesus himself, which means that everything Paul said was exactly what Jesus told him to say. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 14:2,"He that SPEAKS IN AN UNKNOWN TONGUE EDIFIES HIMSELF...." Paul said that Jesus said in 1 Corinthians 14:21,"In the law it is written, With men of other TONGUES and other lips will I speak unto this people, and yet for all that, THEY WILL NOT HEAR ME, saith the Lord." Verse 39 says, "Wherefore brethren, covet to prophesy, AND FORBID NOT TO SPEAK WITH TONGUES." The following scriptures prove that when a person speaks with tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, it is at that moment the Spirit of Christ initially dwells in them: Paul said in Galatians 3:27,"For as many of you as have been BAPTIZED into Christ HAVE PUT ON CHRIST." Paul said in 1 Corinthians 14:22,"Wherefore TONGUES are for a SIGN (or PROOF they received the Holy Ghost)...." Paul said in Romans 8:11,"But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies BY HIS SPIRIT THAT DWELLS IN YOU." That is referring to being raised up to meet Jesus in the air at the Rapture which is referred to in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, which Paul also wrote. If a person has not been baptized in Jesus name, meaning Jesus name is invoked at baptism which is Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-18, Acts 8:38, Acts 9:17-18, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 16:33, Acts 18:7, Acts 18:8, Acts 19:3-5, and Acts 22:16 - which all of those WERE FOR THE REMISSION OF SIN, (Acts 2:38) and has not been baptized with Holy Ghost/Holy Spirit, they will not have that Spirit that will allow them to meet Jesus in the air at the Rapture, and therefore not be Saved. All the above is exactly what Jesus meant in John 3:7,"You MUST be born again." In John 3:5 he said, "Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a man be born of water AND of the Spirit, he can not enter into the kingdom of God." Regarding Baptism - Jesus said in Mark 16:16,"He that believes and is BAPTIZED shall be saved, but he that believes not shall be damned." There Jesus links not being baptized with damnation. Being born of water is being immersed in water (baptized) in Jesus Name, being born of the Spirit is being baptized with the Holy Ghost. If you are convinced you need to get Baptized in water in Jesus Name and get Baptized with the Holy Ghost, do a search, type in "United Pentecostal Church International", scroll slightly down to just below the red box, type in your zip code, then a screen will show a Church nearest you that will do that. If you do all of the above you will be making SURE your name is written in the Lamb's Book Of Life. . No Catholic Church will do it because they condemn water baptism in Jesus Name and declared it INVALID in the New Catholic Encyclopedia Volume 2, page 66, the Catholic Encyclopedia, also in Catholic Catechism 232, 233, and 1226-1284, and also in Chapter 7 of the 16 chapter Catholic Didache. No Protestant Church will do it because they teach water baptism is not needed, but Jesus said in Mark 16:16,"He that believes and is BAPTIZED shall be saved, but he believes not shall be damned. "They also say baptism was not done in Jesus Name, and that it is a "Outer sign of an inner change", but all of the above proves it was done in Jesus Name. Some say the Thief on the Cross next to Jesus was not baptized but Jesus told him he would be with Him that day in Paradise. Jesus had not given the COMMANDMENT to be Baptized in water in His Name until after he rose from the dead and just before He ascended into heaven. The Thief or anyone else at that time could not have done it because they did not know about it. Jesus said in John 10:37," My Sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."

I love Charles Stanley and I truly believe he gives the best sermons and Godly advice and how to live your life as a true Christian and he never asks for money and his ministry WILL NEVER OWN A JET OR ASK HIS CONGREGATION FOR DONATIONS FOR A JET, and I love God, but God has already abandoned and rejected me, He may be the 3 Os, Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and He may be with us all the time but that does not mean He is going to help us and protect us. What's funny in relation to the Pentecostal thing, is that some years ago God connected me to a Lutheran church (Missouri Synod). I was on fire for Jesus and was very familiar with the Word of God. I was always preaching faith, challenging doctrinal issues, but also was very involved in every facet of the church (e.g. VBS, Outreach, visitations) etc.. Anyway, unbeknownst to me, and exposed later, was that my fellow members called me the Pentecostal Lutheran lol. And yes, I had some Pentecostal background.

Some Scriptures about hell by Jesus himself and how not to go there:
In Luke 16:19-31 Jesus describes a rich man that lived lavishly and a poor beggar man named Lazarus. It came to pass that Lazarus died and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom. The rich man died, was buried, then went to hell. 23 And in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in TORMENT, saw Abraham afar off and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue, for I am tormented IN THIS FLAME. 25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that you in your lifetime received good things, and likewise Lazarus received evil things, but now he is comforted and you are tormented. 26 And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that they which would pass from hence to you can not, neither can they pass to us, and would come from thence. 27 Then he said, I pray you therefore father, that you would send him to my father’s house. 28 For I have 5 brothers that he may testify unto them, lest also come into this place of torment. 29 Abraham said unto him, They have Moses and the prophets, let them hear them. 30 And he said, Nay father Abraham, but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.”
LOCATION OF HELL: Jesus said in Matthew 12:40, ”For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly, so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the HEART OF THE EARTH.” Paul said in Ephesians 4:9, ”Now that he ascended, was it but that he also DESCENDED into the LOWER PARTS OF THE EARTH.”
HELL IS A PLACE OF FIRE: Jesus said in Luke 16:24,”….Father Abraham have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue for I am TORMENTED IN THIS FLAME.”
Jesus said in Matthew 13:42,”And shall cast them into a FURNACE OF FIRE, there shall be WAILING AND GNASHING OF TEETH.” Jesus said in Matthew 25:41,”Then shall he also say to them on the left hand, Depart from me, you cursed, INTO EVERLASTING FIRE, prepared for the devil and his angels.”
Jesus said in Revelation 20:15,”And whosoever was not found written in the book of life, was CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.”
HELL IS A PLACE OF TORMENT: Jesus said in Luke 16:23,”And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in TORMENT….” 24 …..for I am TORMENTED in this flame.” Jesus said in Revelation 14:11,”And the smoke of their TORMENT ascended up FOR EVER AND EVER, and they have no rest day or night….” Jesus said in Mark 9:45-46,”And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off, it is better for you to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the FIRE THAT NEVER SHALL BE QUENCHED. 46 Where their WORM DIES NOT, and the fire is not quenched.” Note that it doesn’t say “THE Worm”, it says “THEIR WORM” dies not. Jesus said in Revelation 21:8,”But the fearful and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whore mongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE, which is the second death.” Note that Brimstone is Sulfur and burns with a very strong odor of rotten eggs.
The scriptures above prove when a person goes to hell they will constantly see hell, constantly smell hell, constantly feel the heat of hell, will constantly breath hell, will constantly hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth of others in hell, will constantly be aware of their own worms, they will have no rest day or night, there is no way out and it will continue for ever and ever, they can’t die because they are already dead.
The following is how to not go there and it is a SIMPLE AND EASY thing to do:
All of the book of Acts is what Jesus disciples said what we must to be SAVED - meaning not go to hell, which is repentance, water baptism in Jesus NAME, (Not the titles Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) and being baptized with the Holy Ghost. Jesus said in Mark 16:16,"He that believes and is BAPTIZED shall be SAVED, but he that believes not shall be damned."
At about that same time He said in Matthew 28:19,"Go therefore and teach all nations BAPTIZING them in the name (SINGULAR name and not name's) OF the Father, and OF the Son, and OF the Holy Ghost." Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are titles and not names. Jesus disciples never used those words when they baptized anyone in water, nor did they use those words in one sentence regarding any other topic. Every time they said Jesus NAME at baptism which is Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-18, Acts 8:38, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 16:15, Acts 16:33, Acts 18:7, Acts 18:8, Acts 19:3-5, and Acts 22:16.
Jesus said in John 3:3-7,"Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a man BE BORN AGAIN, he can not see the kingdom of God. 5 Verily, verily I say unto, Except a man be born of water AND of the Spirit, he can not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 7 Marvel not that I say unto you, YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN." Being born of water is being baptized in water which is for the REMISSION OF SINS - meaning the INITIAL remission of sins and not the confessing of sins later addressed in 1 John 1:9. Being born of the Spirit is being baptized with the Holy Ghost. What being baptized with the Holy Ghost means is addressed in Acts 2:3-4, (Pentecost), Acts 8:17, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, and Acts 19:3-5 - which is when the Spirit of Christ initially dwells in a person. Nowhere in Scripture does it say it happens any other way than that way. There is not one Scripture that says a person receives the Holy Ghost just because they are a believer.
Paul said in Romans 8:9-11,”But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if so be that the spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, HE IS NONE OF HIS."
Numbers 23:19, ”God is not a man that he should lie, neither the son of man, that he should repent, has he said and shall he not do it? And shall he not make it good?”
Malachi 3:6,”For I am the Lord, I change not...”
Hebrews 13:8,”Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” That means there is no reason to think that Jesus will make an exception and save someone that has not been baptized in water in Jesus NAME, and has not been baptized with the Holy Ghost.

I remember when I was homeless that people were giving me more religion than donations. I guess they assumed that I was not saved or that I had given up on God because of my situation. NO. IN FACT, MY FAITH ONLY GREW STRONGER AND I LEANED THE MORE ON THE LORD. Even when I was out on the streets, I still gave to people when they asked of me, I still went to church and I gave my tithes and I would still go out and evangelize. What a weak Christian I would have shown myself to be if I had given up or had caved in because of my circumstances. I worship and work for God in the good and the bad; because, this is not about me. IT IS ALL ABOUT DOING WHAT GOD HAS TOLD US TO DO. Amen.

That was extremely encouraging and comforting for I am a divorced woman myself and Left two marriages where I was broken and abused verbally and physically living in constant fear. I did what I thought was right at the time getting out of some thing that was destroying my life. The Lord took me back to college and I got my degree so that I could help people with disabilities both mental illness and those with intelldisabilities find work that suits them and help them be successful.

Leaders of today, all that is in God's word is for today. if you are a believer and you are following and defending leaders who tell you something in God's word is not for today, turn and run and have nothing to do with them. Believers if you have a question, go to God directly. Time is running out and the end times are fast approaching, purify your worship and service to God before it is too late. Your eternal life is at stake. Jesus warned us over and over and over again to be ready. If you are following the words and traditions of man, you are not ready. Read God's word for yourself and ask Him to speak to you, which He does supernaturally, despite what some leaders say, and He will help you get ready for His return. He who has ears let him hear the message to today's institutional, mainstream church.

Thank you, I sure needed to hear this. It can be overwhelming to keep sharing the Gospel truth with my daughter when her response is that I'm rejecting her because of some ungodly choices when my soul weeps for her to know true freedom in Christ. I have to continue to lay her at the feet of Jesus and believe he will complete the work he started in her heart at 5 when she accepted Him as Savior. People think being Christian means being and living perfect all the time, NOT true. Look at King David, King Solomon, Abraham, Paul and on and on and on-!!! They went thru dark times and they heard God clearly. We are not prone to hardships... but we have a Heavenly Father who walks with us thru them-!! Jesus Christ paid the price for ALL the World's sin, 2 Corinthians 5 19-21kjv. He shed his blood on the Cross for our redemption and for the forgiveness of sins, Ephesians 1 7kjv. All you have to do is believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried and rose again and you will be saved, 1 Corinthians 15 1-4kjv. You will then be sealed with the Holy Spirit of Promise, Ephesians 1 13-14kjv. Paul is the Apostle to the Gentiles, Romans 11 13kjv, and we refer to Romans to Philemon for our salvation. I write this in love and with great appreciation Mr Charles Stanley and his ministry, however he did go against the written word of God in that he didn't step down from the office of bishop/overseer as a result of his divorce which is biblically required. Having a ''feeling, conviction etc'' doesn't mean you can go against the word of God. The final authority is the Bible. The word of God is the standard and not your emotions. Mr Stanley could still have had a ministry and taught the Bible without being a Bishop/overseer. In the end we are all sinners, myself included. With respect, your brother in Christ.

I'm 47 years of age & started listening to Dr. Charles Stanley's teachings in my mid 20's. On my opinion he is by far the best biblical teacher I've ever listened to! To this day I continue to glean from this great humble man of God. From radio sermons, to television sermons, to his books & magazines.....he is by far the most biblically based balanced Pastor I've ever listened to. I highly respect him & I pray God continues to strengthen him & bless him the rest of his days. He will definitely be in the books as one of the best preachers to ever live!

Gospel! The good news about Jesus Christ and salvation from judgment on our sins. Jesus dined with His disciples; Mark 14:22-25, the night before He went to the cross. Jesus and His disciples were eating a Passover meal together at the Last Supper. After partaking of bread and wine (His body and His blood) , the Bible mentions the hymn Jesus sang with His disciples. “And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives” Mark 14:26. What were they singing on such an occasion? Psalms 113-118.
THE GOOD NEWS

Blood coming from his body, NAKED, hanging on that cross like Roman torture weapon! What a Lord God and Savior! He had to. HE is God the Son. Only His sinless blood could pay our sins price.1 John 2:1-2. The Savior was born to die for our sins so we could live through Him. I Subscribed.
God knew your praise ministry before the world was made! Ephesians 1:1-14. Prayer goes out for you and those here. A Crown in Heaven awaits all who share the Gospel of Jesus Christ that saves a soul. ( see"JESUS SAVES") 1 Thessalonians 2:19-20; Philippians 4:1. The Apostle Paul said in Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek".
This praise resounds throughout the earth: "Jesus Christ is Lord and God. Only He saves". He testified: ''I and my Father are One" John 1:1-5; 10:30

JESUS SAVES
God the Son (Jesus Christ) has given us the gospel to share with the world. Mark 16:15: "And He said unto them, Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
How can we hear it? Scripture tells us. Romans 10:17 "Then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (We receive the "word" in many ways. The "Word" is Jesus Christ!); John 1:1-5. God the Holy Spirit teaches through the Word of God in the Bible)
Isaiah 7:14: "Therefore the LORD shall give you a sign; behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and call His name Immanuel. "God with us" in human flesh without sin. The Savior was born to die for our sins! He did so 33 years later. His terrible ordeal; body mutilated; blood poured out, died and was placed in a tomb and rose from the dead the 3rd day never to die again. He is the first fruits of the dead. Only through Him can dead live! Matthew 28:6.
Isaiah 53:5 "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all."

Matthew 26: 28 "For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." (the life is in the blood. He had to pay with His life)
BY GOD'S GRACE ALONE THROUGH FAITH ALONE IN JESUS CHRIST ARE WE SAVED
Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast."
Jesus died and paid the penalty for our sins to rescue us from eternal death. He died on our behalf. We believe in Him, trusting His death and shedding of His blood as payment for ALL our sins and His burial and resurrection from the dead the third day! John 20:24-31; again 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4 above.
WHOSOEVER BELIEVES SHALL TESTIFY TO THE TRUTH
Romans 10:
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
TO DIE IS TO REJECT SALVATION IN JESUS CHRIST AND BE SEPARATE FROM GOD FOREVERMORE
Salvation and forgiveness of sins is the blessing of anyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We receive the baptism of God the Holy Spirit immediately which seals us in Christ and that is permanent! Ephesians 1:13-14. Those who reject the free gift of salvation, see John 3:16 above, "perish", which means their sins are judged by God the Son and they suffer eternal separation from God and the family of God forever called the "second death". Revelation 21:8.
My mother is now in stage 4 cancer, please include her in your prayers. I'm crying right now as I type this. But I am hopeful that Lord will heal her. God bless us all!

Many ask their Priest or Pastor if speaking in Tongues as the Spirit gives utterance is needed to be Saved and they say something like, "Definitely not." Or they think something like, "I don't think I want to get involved with that speaking in Tongues type thing, that's a little too weird and hardcore for me." They say that because they don't know about the following scriptures, or have ignored them. Please note the information below is not taught at any Catholic or Protestant Church, nor is it taught at any Catholic or Protestant Seminary School, or at any Catholic or Protestant Divinity School.
The following is some word for word scriptures about speaking in Tongues as the Spirit gives utterance:
Jesus said in Mark 16:17,"And these signs shall follow them that believe, In my name shall they cast out devils, they shall SPEAK WITH NEW TONGUES."
Acts 2:3-4, (Pentecost),"And it appeared to unto them cloven TONGUES LIKE AS OF FIRE, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST, and they began TO SPEAK WITH OTHER TONGUES as the SPIRIT GAVE THEM UTTERANCE."

In Acts 19:1-6, Paul met 12 believers in Ephesus and asked them, 2 Have you received the Holy Ghost since you BELIEVED? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. 3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were you baptized? And they said unto John's baptism. 4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is on Christ Jesus. 5 When they heard this, they were BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS. 6 And when Paul LAID HIS HANDS ON THEM, the Holy Ghost came on them, and they SPOKE WITH TONGUES and prophesied." Those scriptures prove that just because a person is a believer does not mean they are automatically saved, and just because a person is a believer does not mean they automatically have the Holy Ghost.
Jesus said in John 7:38-39,"He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly SHALL FLOW RIVERS OF LIVING WATER. 39 But this he spoke of the SPIRIT, which they that believe on him should receive, for the HOLY GHOST was not yet given, because that Jesus was not yet glorified."
Paul said in Galatians 1:12 that he was not taught by any man, but was taught by Jesus himself, which means that everything Paul said was exactly what Jesus told him to say.
Paul said in 1 Corinthians 14:2,"He that SPEAKS IN AN UNKNOWN TONGUE EDIFIES HIMSELF...."
Paul said that Jesus said in 1 Corinthians 14:21,"In the law it is written, With men of other TONGUES and other lips will I speak unto this people, and yet for all that, THEY WILL NOT HEAR ME, saith the Lord." Verse 39 says, "Wherefore brethren, covet to prophesy, AND FORBID NOT TO SPEAK WITH TONGUES."
The following scriptures prove that when a person speaks with tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, it is at that moment the Spirit of Christ initially dwells in them:
Paul said in Galatians 3:27,"For as many of you as have been BAPTIZED into Christ HAVE PUT ON CHRIST."
Paul said in 1 Corinthians 14:22,"Wherefore TONGUES are for a SIGN (or PROOF they received the Holy Ghost)...."
Paul said in Romans 8:11,"But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies BY HIS SPIRIT THAT DWELLS IN YOU." That is referring to being raised up to meet Jesus in the air at the Rapture which is referred to in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, which Paul also wrote. If a person has not been baptized in Jesus name, meaning Jesus name is invoked at baptism which is Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-18, Acts 8:38, Acts 9:17-18, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 16:33, Acts 18:7, Acts 18:8, Acts 19:3-5, and Acts 22:16 - which all of those WERE FOR THE REMISSION OF SIN, (Acts 2:38) and has not been baptized with Holy Ghost/Holy Spirit, they will not have that Spirit that will allow them to meet Jesus in the air at the Rapture, and therefore not be Saved. All the above is exactly what Jesus meant in John 3:7,"You MUST be born again." In John 3:5 he said, "Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a man be born of water AND of the Spirit, he can not enter into the kingdom of God." Regarding Baptism - Jesus said in Mark 16:16,"He that believes and is BAPTIZED shall be saved, but he that believes not shall be damned." There Jesus links not being baptized with damnation. Being born of water is being immersed in water (baptized) in Jesus Name, being born of the Spirit is being baptized with the Holy Ghost.
If you are convinced you need to get Baptized in water in Jesus Name and get Baptized with the Holy Ghost, do a search, type in "United Pentecostal Church International", scroll slightly down to just below the red box, type in your zip code, then a screen will show a Church nearest you that will do that. If you do all of the above you will be making SURE your name is written in the Lamb's Book Of Life. .
No Catholic Church will do it because they condemn water baptism in Jesus Name and declared it INVALID in the New Catholic Encyclopedia Volume 2, page 66, the Catholic Encyclopedia, also in Catholic Catechism 232, 233, and 1226-1284, and also in Chapter 7 of the 16 chapter Catholic Didache. No Protestant Church will do it because they teach water baptism is not needed, but Jesus said in Mark 16:16,"He that believes and is BAPTIZED shall be saved, but he believes not shall be damned. "They also say baptism was not done in Jesus Name, and that it is a "Outer sign of an inner change", but all of the above proves it was done in Jesus Name. Some say the Thief on the Cross next to Jesus was not baptized but Jesus told him he would be with Him that day in Paradise. Jesus had not given the COMMANDMENT to be Baptized in water in His Name until after he rose from the dead and just before He ascended into heaven. The Thief or anyone else at that time could not have done it because they did not know about it.
Jesus said in John 10:37," My Sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."

Dear Dr Stanley, I lost my job at the end of 2019 and since then I have applied for so many jobs without success! I love and adore Jesus with all of my heart and get a tight pension for working for 34 years, I pray for people to get saved and sometimes listen to hurting people,still wonder though if that's the will of God for me

I love Charles Stanley and I truly believe he gives the best sermons and Godly advice and how to live your life as a true Christian and he never asks for money and his ministry WILL NEVER OWN A JET OR ASK HIS CONGREGATION FOR DONATIONS FOR A JET, and I love God, but God has already abandoned and rejected me, He may be the 3 Os, Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and He may be with us all the time but that does not mean He is going to help us and protect us. I believed 2 Timothy 4:18 and 2 Thessalonians 3:3 that He would protect us from Evil, but that did not happen, evil people ruined my life and God just stood by and let it happen.
