Tourism isn't the main industry in Cañon City, prisons are. You should be truthful with people about job opportunities. Cañon City has 12 prisons, that's the main industry here. And it only takes about 45 minutes to get to the springs, and Pueblos only about 35 minutes away. Take it from someone who's actually lived here for six years. It's also only an hour and a half to Monarch ski resort, and only three hours to Wolf Creek Pass, about an hour and a half from the great Sandune's, and has world-class mountain biking, fishing, and kayaking. You might also want to let people know that once they get out of Denver and Vail and Breckenridge and Boulder and Fort Collins or anywhere considered "affluent" and start heading into the more rural areas of Colorado, it's very much a "Christian White Nationalist" kind of vibe. So if "let's go Brandon" and "F&$k Biden" flags are your jam, this could very well be the spot you've been looking for.

Don’t even consider those the colorado lifestyle!!!😂
No definitely not what we think of when wanting to move to Colorado. Thanks for the comment!
You would have more views with no music! , i wont watch the entire video due to this as others the same who don't take the time to comment.
Hey Lin, appreciate the feedback although I don't think that's true. How would you know if there is music in the video without watching it? Also, I think over 5,000 views and gaining is pretty good.
The dude from New York, take values and go to Chicago.
Colorado Springs seems to be the winner in my research. It is not that far from Denver and it seems to be a nice balance.
Sterling & Cañon City are prison towns. Trinidad is cool.
That would explain why they're cheap. Cheap doesn't always mean good 😆
All lamar has is a band aid station for a hospital. You need something get ready cause they gonna put you on a 10,000.00 dollar helecopter ride to the springs. People drive like they are from Denver. Let their dogs loose to shit on your lawn. Get off the main drag and see the real lamar.
People drive crazy everywhere in Colorado, I just don't get it. Worse in Denver but bad everywhere. Thanks for your comment!
Grand Junction is a shit hole now. What was a genuine rural community with an incredible canal system for irrigation and incredible views and a friendly vibe and a small college, was supplanted by the progressive agenda designed to appeal to people who are indifferent to the history and personality of the town. Now, aside from the pretentious winery events and superficial bike riders, Grand Junction is now home to more crime, more drugs, gang activity and homelessness. And after some of the towns you listed, ( Pueblo, really!!?? ) I think I will take any realtor speak you spew with the smallest grain of salt.
@@krisgray8124 Hey Kris, thanks for your insightful comments. It's funny as a kid when we came through Grand Junction I thought it was kind of unimpressive. As I've gotten older I have an appreciation that I didn't before, maybe it's changing or I am. This video is actually one of my oldest and oddly most watched. I was thinking about recreating it since things have really changed. I've heard some surprisingly good things about Pueblo despite its reputation. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers!
Plz !!!!!!! Ditch the background music!!! Awful! I can’t hang with this!!
Hey there, yes. This has been a common comment on this video. At one point we did reduce the volume but I think each device is different. You can always turn down the video and turn on subtitles. Hope you were still able to get the info. Thanks for your comment.
Terrible music!!!
Thanks! There are four different songs. Which one is the most terrible? Do you make music I can use?
@@LivingInColorado5280. Music is unnecessary and altogether obnoxious, only want to hear your info.
@@MinouMinet While I do appreciate your feedback out of the 3,000 views this video has about 5 have said the same thing as you. I usually inform them that the music volume is 4x lower than my voice on paper at least. Personally I feel that the music makes the video a bit more lively. I'm probably the only person that sees.it without. I do appreciate you like my info. I've tried to be more sensitive to the music volume but I'm definitely going to keep it in future videos. Thanks again!
@@LivingInColorado5280 Sure, it's your video, do as you want!
@@MinouMinet Subtitles! That's the solution 😁
