Rising from the ashes DAY 100

In this video, I share my feelings of being overwhelmed and take you through three out of four storage areas, including the open trailer, pod, and tent. Let’s navigate this process together!
Open Trailer: A collection of miscellaneous items-sometimes surprising in their usefulness. Sometime suprising why i am keeping it.
Pod: Lumber, tools, and bins-all essentials that need a new home in the new garage.
Tent: Explore my drawers, trays, and other miscellaneous items.

I hope your coverage limits were high enough to cover your losses! It looks like you had a lot of stuff in there. My neighbors went through something like this three christmases ago. They let their twin boys (10 & 11) spend the night in their detached three-stall garage, and one of the boys knocked over a small propane heater. The entire structure went up in less than 10 minutes... The Fire department was kind enough to send 5 trucks. It was wild! Unfortunately, their insurance company wouldn't cover anything because the kids were left unattended. (Said company covered my siding and roof damage from the fire, though). The neighbors ended up bulldozing what remained, and put a couple of those gaudy canvas tents on the slab. I don't know what was more upsetting to see: the way the insurance company jerked them around, or those tacky tents I'm forced to look at every time I pull into my own driveway... I hope your experience was better that theirs!

Did you lose your hair in the fire, or is that unrelated? 😂 On a serious note, how much stuff did you lose in the fire? Anything that was important / sentimental / expensive?
