Tough Job, looking good! Quick Tip to insure Ceramic bonding for durability & years. The 3D Speed is an All in One that includes Wax. Should not be used with Ceramic because it contains wax, shouldn’t use any compound / polisher product with sealer. Instead Use 3D 501 & 502 or 510 & 520. They don’t contain any sealer, just a clean polish … which is what you need prior to Ceramic, clean surface ready for ceramic.
Exactly lol, and the first one hes using (p&s gelcoat restorer) says it has carnuba and polymer protection so essentially doing double the work when you can use one product to do that in one step. Also i imagine hes using the polishers he already has which explains them using medium to small DA's on freaking gelcoat which is a waste of man power. They should all have 10inch rotarys even just cheap chorded ones if they wana knock it out fast.
Im sure this process works for you but to knock it out fast considering your low service price, instead of using the p&s restore followed by Speed, i would just use Meguires Marine & RV one step compound to remove oxidation and shine it up at the same time using 8-10inch rotarys with medium wool pads. You need the power of rotary and agression of wool for gel coat to make quick work of it With that much man power 1 day would be enough doing it this way.

Quick question, how much ceramic coating did you need for this size rv? How long was that rv?
