Bo is a mid 1st rounder. You want to talk about his age and then give Penix a pass (and maybe Jayden Daniels as well). Bo and JD are both 5th year seniors. Penix is a 6th year senior. Plus, Penix had 4 season ending injuries in college. And, Bo silenced the critics of his are strength at the combine and his Pro Day.
we have videos up on Daniels and Penix will have a video out by this week. So we dont just single only nix age out. Will be brought up on the Penix video as well.
I don't see an issue with arm strength here. The examples of bad deep balls were short to mid range incompletions for the most part. The deep balls at the and had a lot on them. He's a top QB in this draft, easily first round. He might well crack the top 10 if Denver trades up for example.
arm strength doesn’t just show up on deep balls. Look at how many throws he wasn’t able to complete outside the numbers. Arm strength affects consistency throwing accurately, deep ball passes and sometimes mechanics. He has a live arm, not a strong arm. He can make throws but not all of the throws like Drake Maye or Caleb Williams. He could very well go top 10 like you said but again, NFL teams would have to understand that he is player who’s probably got a higher floor than ceiling.
Ya his arm is more than good enough. A lot of times looks like hes playing 85 and emphasizing getting the ball off fast, not hitching and ripping it as much as some people would like.
This was actually designed by Lanning and the coaching ycan see the data and videos of his interviews he is what they wanted him to do. He can throw down the field but they didn't design the plays like that
His (lazy) footwork needs work, that will correct a good portion of his miss/under throws. Working with pro level coaches and reps will most likely see him through to the next level. He has good vision and takes what the defense gives him- he can run an offense and with a good coach/scheme he will be more efficient than the rest of the rookie qbs.
