His demeanor is literally his act, and it never ends.
Honestly, as long as he doesn’t slip out of character, I think an act like this is hard to fail.
All it takes is a few people to catch on and start laughing and/or dancing, for that energy and realization to spread throughout the audience.
This was hilarious. The best part was he got the party started by doing absolutely nothing. Everyone entertained themselves. Loved it.

@@hyroproto4364 Well, I don´t think they are all paid, but some of them have to be paid actors. Don´t you find it weird how the camera just happens to be pointing at some one in the audience that asks a question out loud? "What is he doing?" "Why is he doing x". Some times they aren´t even asking some one, just literally saying it out loud like in a freaking cartoon. And a lot of the reactions look so forced, the first people to stand up and dance did it right when the song started, the joke didn´t even start and they randomly stood up and danced for no reason, the rest of the audience only joined them after

Imagine being that person who works 24 hours a day, takes cares if his or her kids, risk their life, fight through cancers and looses to a guy who said taquila 3 times.
Yea that is one part that turned me off of AGT, all the sad stories. I do not want to watch people having a hard time in life, I want to watch them perform their passion.

Indeed. He acted like someone who lost a bet and had to go on AGT to be embarrassed. Now, he's worried what he must come up with next round. His emotion was totally unengaged. He was so lost that he couldn't even handle Terry's question about the next song. If his whole reaction was an act, I must say, he is a master of awkward comedy.

Those lyrics hit me hard having experience in what he was singing about. It was a really emotional song and I don’t think anybody should go through what he was singing about. Those were just really powerful words and I couldn’t hold in the tears.
