Fun fact about this track! We just hit #22 on the iTunes Charts UK! It feels really good to make music. I love it! It's so much fun. This track was written and produced under the request of Sacred Vedic Arts Center in Miami, Florida. I specifically wrote it for the Festival of Colors last year. I had no idea that this will be the first step for me to come out of a ten year retirement form the music industry. At the time I just put together an indie spiritual music group Shakti Theater. I fused different types of mantras together and was performing it in Bhakti Yoga music genre. When the center approached me I didn't think that something like this will be welcomed yet at the same time I couldn't find anything like this anywhere on the internet.
I fused the ancient mantra with a clubhouse beat, created break downs and made the track as a club music track. At the time I just felt the vibe that was going though me and Vasanti Didi one of the devotees from the temple encouraged me to make it super up beat so people can dance to it.
The production of the music took me couple of days, then came the mixing. The mixing of the track was done by Fabian Camacho also known as Mix By Trip. It was really great and easy to work with him. He has an ear for the electronic music and what's hot and popping in the industry. I loved working with him.
The video took me a full two days to program, as the Ai is super advanced and produces 64 frames per four seconds. I have never done anything like that but it inspired me to make couple of more videos, which I can't wait to post!
At the moment I am getting ready to release next single 'Shiva'. Stay tuned to more music to come.
