I love how calm and collected the main character is to the fact he is carrying around the head of a goat, that needs water and talks. By far the strangest game I've seen in a while.
Feel free to dilly dally all you like, it's always fun to see you explore games like this. It has a really interesting story and atmosphere that I don't see very often. :)
If you look at the picture of Serpentini, it looks like his hand is burnt just like yours. And when you're talking to him, it looks like the hand is wrapped up with a towel or something.
I love how this game rewards you for you curiosity. And they are so good at giving very subtle hints that guide you to things, like how seeing flurina at the bridge led you to explore the way she had come from with the goats.
I love this series. Bizzare and intriguing game for sure. Since theres many tasks to do in this game, i do like you keep it 1 hour long per video. Keep up the good work.
I meant to post in the last episode, about the matches sitting on a ledge built into the stone wall next to the stove in the grandfather's house. Also, there's something sitting on a ledge on the rear wall of that house (@54:52) you can kinda spot it. I hope he checks it out.
I actually love that you take the time to explore and discover everything, that's also how I play and it drives me bonkers when whoever I'm watching goes straight for the objectives. Also, the game strongly reminds me of Pathologic with its general creepiness and oddness, and the MC being chill with it because they grew up in this environment.
I definitely enjoy how he explores as well, providing us the opportunity to see most of the sights. However, I must beg to differ on him discovering everything. Although he will typically try to search every nook and cranny, even so much that when he knows what direction he is suppose to go in order to advance the game, he will choose to look at the unexplored areas first . . . just in case he might not receive another opportunity to return to the location, and hence, missing out on whatever those areas may have had to offer. He's fairly thorough in those regards. Nevertheless, he will often overlook something in plain sight, a vital item he must find to advance the game story, or a puzzle piece, or like one person pointed out, how he will perform careless actions such as sleeping in Giovanni's house without shutting the front nor the back door. It just cracks me up sometimes when he fails to think his actions through, or completely overlooks a key element (no pun intended) of the game. It's like, come on, man, you play enough of these games to know better than that. Oh well, his gameplay is generally much more entertaining than the degree of annoyance I experience from some of his little mistakes.
I love this special game, a preciuos work, romantically handmade, nice and accurate in landscapes narrative and in story development, suitable to be played by your elegant, funny, smart and respectful touch. And it makes a particular impression on me because I live in the country where the Alps are. Thank you so much :-)
I'm really enjoying this game so far, love the game design and the premise plus your commentary makes it, I'm looking forward to this series, thanks for the upload Chris 😊
That feel when you get notified of a new vid but no time to watch until later 😭 something to look forward to in a few hours, until then I SUFFER Edit OK I finally got time to watch, man you like to bully those hay bois 😂
35:55 - 36:10 --- LOL, that would mighty suck if Serpentini suddenly erases part of that painting while you're halfway across the bridge. XD With regards to hay creatures and such scenario at 00:38, it makes me wonder if you can use your pitchfork while you're underneath them, instead of waiting to see their actual form before making that stab. It got me curious, seeing that there are small plumes of dust when they walk, which gives away their location overhead.
Yes! I have been waiting for part 2, excellent game interesting story! And thank you CJU for reading the subtitles sometimes, they can be difficult to see or follow
I really love this game, please do not stop your exploration... I want to see every nook and cranny in this game!! I don't know why but, ya I have to say I think this is one of my favorite games to watch!!
Loving it so far. This game is really interesting and does so many things different. The gameplay is competent and varied but still the focus is definitely on the story. The small sled minigame is super cute. Oh, and am I the only one who does not find this game to be drab? Some scenes like the crystal clear lake or the creek flowing through the valley are downright beautiful.
It's amazing for me how complex that game is! There is even a sleigh race! And as I also love to explore in the games I completely understand you wandering here and there in such a unique landscape. I wonder if there is a way to put goat's head to it's body...
Thank you for the upload! I have something to watch to start my day and your videos are ones I always look forward to!! I’m so happy that you’re doing this series because we get hour long videos 😍
“There’s some wood, there’s some skis, & there’s ... fuckin Krampus I guess.” ~CJU 😂😂🤣🤣🤣 Dude I love you’re commentary so much. You seriously make my day. After workin 9+ hours everyday for my wife and three kids I can always rely on your videos. Thank you.
00:57 Think I just peed a little lol, it sounded like your character yelled "Top of the morning" to that Hay Man as he jabbed him hard in the knee with the pitchfork, I'm dying over here after that one lol
Chris: Is there an extra lock on this door? No? Shit! Me: Well, you slept in Serpentini's place with both the front AND back doors wide open (not even closed). What's your problem? This has become such a weird little game (I actually hope the goat's head talks to you again). Loving it, and really looking forward to part 3.
Didn't think much of this game at first but the more I see the more I realise how wrong I was. This game is amazing. Everything is so beautifully thought out and hand crafted. Weird is a word I'd use more than horror but it's a very good type of weird.
I am finding this game so relaxing. Really enjoying it. I think u missed a picture around the side of the barn. Also .. do u have to run away all the time from the hay monsters. U got a pitch fork. Use it lol
@@ghost656metal8 I don't think he is in a rush at all but rather he is trying to balance his explorative nature with game progress to give viewers the best experience he can. He's not obligated to play for anyone and it's also not as if we can't get the game ourselves and play it the way we want. Personally, I still genuinely enjoy watching him wander
@@TehNinjaFlute I know he's not obligated to play for anyone, but he really needs to stop saying i like to take my time and explore every were so i don't miss stuff, while at the same time rushing trough all the games he play's and missing a lot of stuff
Oh man, I am just loving this game! When you got hit on the head it was so unexpected I almost fell out of my chair. (Also, you should redo the sled race and see what reaction you get from Flurina! She'll probably just scowl though.)
This game is giving me The Lighthouse vibes, cause it's black and white and the horror in it is unconventional and plays a lot on psychology and religion
First time in my life have I seen somebody not recognize what a ghost is or not know what one is LOL I'm joking I am enjoying this this seemed so interested and invested in the story I'm glad you're exploring a lot of people don't explore game they try to hurry up finish it put out the content

I know how you love exploring Chris and it’s certainly rewarded in this game. Press on to part three Chris, really loving the game so far.
If you look at the picture of Serpentini, it looks like his hand is burnt just like yours. And when you're talking to him, it looks like the hand is wrapped up with a towel or something.
man, this game is charming and sinister, I really like it.
my thoughts exactly
I love how this game rewards you for you curiosity. And they are so good at giving very subtle hints that guide you to things, like how seeing flurina at the bridge led you to explore the way she had come from with the goats.
I really like this. It has a fairy tale vibe, especially with the devil-figure old man and the way the protag just accepts fantastical things
the little sled race is a fantastic little easter egg. Very relaxing stretch of content to watch.
Look like a key was on the rock in the save area when you was following the goat...
Yep, I was telling him as he walked away from it. LOL
I love this series. Bizzare and intriguing game for sure. Since theres many tasks to do in this game, i do like you keep it 1 hour long per video. Keep up the good work.
@28:00 “They look like devil horns....I guess that’s the point.” Those ARE the points, yes! Well-punned.
The one dislike is from Serpentini
The second dislike is from the Old Man
Haha!!

What an odd game. 🐐
"this doesn't seem safe"..... Proceeds to starting running hahaha
I love the exploration in this game, defiently look at every nook and cranny
Thank you for part 2 I'm really enjoying watching this game properly as much as you playing it. CJUGames amazing game play
This is really something different. Brilliant.

What a cool game! So refreshing to see such a unique stylized game. Really sets it apart from typical horror and it's got a cool story and game play
Oh hell yeah! This notification made my fucking day! Never a bad day when Chris uploads a video 🥰

I am absolutely LOVING THIS GAME!!!!!
WoW! It's 1 AM here, and I was waiting for this all the while so that I can watch and finally go to sleep! :D
30:49 those paintings behind giovani. Those are from the burning stacked hay from the first video!

It would've awesome if they gave you a combine to drive over those hay monster men things instead of the truck.
Really enjoying this one so far. It’s fucked up in kind of a charming way
The folk horror and puzzles are reminding me a lot of Year Walk.
Why not use the pipe to keep bees away long enough to get close to him and use pitchfork ????
“There’s fkn Krampus right there”! 😂🤣
LOVE this one. The hand drawn aspect is amazing especially. Hadn't even heard of it until you started playing, but I'm so glad I know about it now!
Yes , yes ,yes .... was waiting for it. Didn't thought it will be this fast😍😍😍
I love that you’re taking your time and looking at the secrets and lore as well
I really like the melody that is playing during the night sleigh race.
Love this game. So bizarre, creepy and magical... a bit reminiscent of a Cocteau film!!
Loving the exploration, please continue

No, not the only one. Whomever it is that came up with this, hope Chris follows him in the future.
An hour long. Soo looking forward to this!
"He's on fire! Fucking fantastic!"
I have to keep reminding myself that we are not playing as Nigel Denvers.
haha. Yeah I thought that too. Waitin' for that blue sky on May Day!! : )

This game is wonderfully weird, and it keeps on surprising me. I love it.
Great game. Very interesting premise.
I've really been enjoying this playthrough. Thank you!
This game is so cool! I love it.
Went through that whole bee section without a single buzz of a nic cage reference lol 🐝
Seems like a Kafka village for some reason. This game is beautiful.
I like the rifle ammunition "Drei Herren" -> It's German for "Three Gentlemen" :'D
Man this game is great, Can't wait for part 3!
Yes- always explore to your hearts content. I'm loving this. 💖
this is a pretty enjoyable playthrough.

They're speaking some mix of Italian and German, Romansh dialect isn't it?
Very interesting, unique and creepy game. I'm loving it!! Keep it coming CJU! 🤙🤙👏👏😱👹👻💀
Love you "hmmm.. " so adorable! Hello from Russia!
YESSSS I'm so excited!! Will definitely be watching every part of this! What a strange but fascinating game 😍

"I don't feel very safe" you say (26:38), as you go to bed with both doors wide open so any old hay man can just waltz right in... 😂😂😂
Extraordinary!
My name is Allegra. So I guess I’m a headless goat.
The goat's name was spelled differently and pronounced differently, too.
You dah best. I LOVE everything about this game. Everything.
Oh no, not the bees! NOT THE BEEEEEEES!
Keep it up sir Chris ❤
God bless you 💖

Yes another part keep it coming Chris loving 🥰 this game so far xx 😘

Lovin' this gameplay more and more!

love the game and the talking goats, as i myself are
a goat farmer .....xxx
What's with the 1:11:37 ? Are you trying to make the time close to matching the last one?
Chris, I wonder if the rifle is in your grandpa's basement. I don't know if you could go back and check (or if it would even be worth it).
there is a lot he has missed, if he wasn't in such a rush to get to the next story point

Killin it, dude
9:47 Is that a cave? Did you go in there?
Am I the only one who thinks that Flurina looks a bit like a scowling Chucky without scars? she's kind of creepy XDXDXD
So far I just have one question... What the Hell is going on?!?!?!
He's on a quest for honey.
So which opponent is better: hay or vacuum?
This game is weirder than my uncle who won't stay in his grave.
Life choices, when you say, "that looks like Baphomet to me.." Ha!
Luv this game
Yay! Can’t wait
Weird how the bee keepers are wearing what I think is 15th or 16th century beekeeper outfits
