People attended this event didn’t care about his English grammatical errors considering his non-English backgrounds. They were more attracted to his historical and personal experience and leadership when it comes to figuring out the country’s problems during its transitional moment. He was on another level. Bisa bhs inggris iya. Jago sih nggk juga. Just ordinary english. Tanpa mengurangi rasa hormat saya sama Pak Habubie, beliau kalo ngomong ada grammatical mistakes nya juga. It doesn't need a guy with a high IQ to speak english at that level; indonesian people who speak on daily basis in their workplace speak JUST like that.
Menjelang akhir menit kedelapan di video ini, beliau mispronounce kata "inseparable". Di menit awal menit kesembilan beliau membuat rather basic grammatical mistake: "have to swore".
Itu baru 9 menit.
And btw, mastery in a foreign language is one of the least important skills to be possessed to be a good president/leader.
