      Not here to sell anything. In fact the opposite. Plenty of fake boat reviews out there for that.

    Hey Mark, good chatting at the ramp on Saturday. Maybe the poor man's lobster - or more to the point - eating the alternative - had something to do with the sickness suffered! Hope your mate is feeling ok soon..
    That BC is a nice looking boat in the person. Seems like it goes plenty hard enough too.

    Depending on what for and why you want to run 4 blade props? Are you thinking of pulling a couple or skiers out of the water in the coming months?
    It all comes down to the pitch mate.
    If you're running 19 pitch 3 blade and just going to swap out for a 19 four blade I can tell you now you won't be going flat maggot full trimmed like in your clip.
    You'll potentially only encounter the rev limiter alarm..
    I'm running 4 blade props on my twins, it has reasonable poor top end speed but as a compromise it is good for trawling, better handling in a follow sea and potentially less stress on the gearing etc, mine has brilliant hole shot but I'm running 4 blades because my horsepower is on the bottom end scale for what the boat is rated for therefore it was sluggish with 3 blades getting on plane with 450lts of fuel 3 hefty guys and gear.
    Looks like you already have good hole shot and good top end and revs are just under maximum with 3 people on board, so guess I'm asking why? what do you hope to achieve with a 4 blade prop?
    You've probably already outlayed your money but on good thing to consider when investing in new props in 4 blade is going up 1 or 2 pitch sizes to what your current 3 blade props are, your boat is only light, Don't think I recall seeing many ally boats in the 6.8 range, with 200 horse's and upwards with 4 blade props. Should of bought a second hand one at half the price or borrowed one to try.
    Anyway good luck with it, well done on the vid, hopefully you get the results you are looking for, keep us all posted 👍
    Clip on your prop change out to see what type of hub you chose thanks🤙

      Hey yes it goes pretty well, it's about ability to hold lower planing speeds offshore. I made the change once and I was very happy. If it doesn't work out, will change back immediately. All very good points you raise and it's certainly already pretty good

  • @CaptDavesSportfishing
    @CaptDavesSportfishing 3 роки тому +1

    Yep, you need to blow them cob webs out of it, a good extended high speed run, with some heat in it is even better.
    Cant believe the fishing here is better than there? Why arent you catching them snapper and kingy's as I see others do. Location? Grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. I wish I could have my rig, dropped in Australia or NZ, all the time. Im in NE Florida, and the fishing is far from exotic. I wish it was.

    • @BaitBallin
      @BaitBallin  3 роки тому

      this time of the year, water is only 14 degrees and the fishing is very very quiet.
      its a dead time, the southern bluefin tuna are normally within striking distance coming up from the south, but they are still around 150km out to sea at the moment. so it's a waiting game unfortunately

      Hey man all good. With the Suzuki must be the lean burn model, they also make or used to a non lean burn which really chew the juice (in the 250hp). But a great engine regardless. The Honda's are super smooth and quiet (even more than Suzuki), just like the car engines they are generally based on. I don't think you can honestly go wrong with either. Suzuki will offer better value for money, Honda will be more refined, quiet and smooth. Both will last and serve you well
