However I do say it takes way more finesse to play MM than BM atm!
The macros to change Aspects are called Aspects Dancing. For example, /cast !aspect of the hawk. The !mark means every time the button is been pressed, it won't cancel the aspect that priviouslly put on.

Back in the days. Feign death combined with freezing trap after the rogue vanish rushes you always catches them off guard. Then place a flare as quick as possible. They dont even think to dismantle your trap middle battle because they are on the clock trying to rush you. Feign death doesnt share a cooldown with traps or flare. So take your pick.
@MrJunzz Serpent sting or other hunters dot abilities have another great use, specially in arena. Classes such as priest, shaman, PLA,ect that can dispell or clean magic effects, slows, ect; serpent sting is classified as magic effects, that means if they use dispell or clean, poision such as serpent sting will be removed prior to slow effects
i love dueling rogues, but idk if any of you guys do this but when they go into a smoke bomb i switch to a spider pet and web them. it works for me really well. but i'm on a weaksauce server so there isnt any super good rogues to see if it would work on them.
These duels although quite entertaining, are in hunter's favor. would be cool to see you duel classes in world arena. Ring of Trials arena in Nagrand for example

When the rogue cast smoke bomb, usually means that the rogue is out of the cool down of cloak and/or vanash. The purpose of smoke bomb is playing defensive, for instance, reduce the damage taken, waiting for major cool downs such as combat readiness, cloak, vanish, ect, or wait for the oppotuniy
hey zumio:) do you have a macro on chimera to turn you into aspec of the hawk and on the steady to turn you into aspect of the fox? i noticed every time u press chimera or steady those things happens...i've been searching for this kind of macro for 1 year do have it?:D great video keep it up

Zumio.. A nice tip for you... When a rogue is using his Smoke bomb.. Try popping out your Flare in his face, and a trap underneath you.. It's a good way to keep him out of stealth. JS it's been working in every single duel I've been doin' against rogues..
The only time you allow the pet to attack is when the rogue blind you only depends on that the blind is used to get restealth to reset the combat. Usually, the rogues would use cloak beforehand or after the blind to clear any dots they had on them so that after 6 sec they can get retealth reopen on you; by doing that they also save precious vanish for offensive or dense sieve purposes. Thus, allow the pet to attack when you were blinded, can save your cool downs and keep the rogues in combat.
this guide has helped me out so much :-) now sub rouge are my favorite class to go against lol...so u just basically tank out his damage until he has no more n when he has no more recup hes dead n force his trinket of course
Waiting for the opportunity to close the gap ,etc. So the best solution is throw snake/freeze trap to the smoke to limit the rogue close the gap or waste his cool down; and toss a flare by your feet to avoid the rogue snap you as an open; and in a very short period, the rogue can not restealth to pop cool downs on you.
@ZumioNET Just a tip what what I think: Put up videos were you win. And also when you lose against classes so you can say what you did wrong and can do better and then show the win there you then fixed the problems. If there was any.
I have a good rogue I duel against often. Our duels used to go a lot like this, but then he adapted his play and now does things a lot differently. He wins a lot more then he loses now. He does things like using cloak to avoid monkey stuns, starting the duel sitting right on top of me regardless of the flare.
@MrJunzz @MrJunzz The reason why the serpent sting not been used very often is because it breaks the CC, that is vital in duels and arena. The only condition to use serpent sting is the hunter out of cool downs and want to avoid other classes to CC you, specially rogues. For example, a serpent sting can easily break the rogues' vanish, if you know what is going to happen. Zumio demonstrated well in one of his vedios.
In the duels Zumio vs rogues, the rogues hardly have any chance to restealth, because restealth gives rogues loads of advantages. First of, restealth allows rogues to recover to full energy or enough energy to pop their cool downs; Second, restealth allows rogues to get as many as combo stars , and combo stars mean damage and/or control and heal. Allow rogues to restealth means they usually reset the combat with full energy even full health and major cool downs, you definitely don't want do tha
ret pala is easy for hunter, i play both, to kill them just trinket hammer of justice then disengage then keep side ways running while using concussive shot and just dmg. if they use there other stun repentance it breaks on dmg so when it does scatter him then run then dmg again easy :) hope this helped
Agree, a medium-skilled rogue will stomp a medium-skilled hunter, as rogue is simply easier to do well with, both classes do have high skill caps but in 1v1 rogue will certainly come out on top unless both players to the best of their classes ability. And yes in 2v2 and 3v3 rogues are massively better than hunters, rogues are the best arena class this season (along with locks and shamans)
your pet is used for utility. he needs to be near you to sac/call(even though call is a decent range). the dps a pet does isnt that great(unless BM). so you keep it on passive. Also, spec your pet into bullheaded. bc you will need it.
You said "use ice trap" when you are using frezzing traps. I guess you just combined the names? ---- Duel against ret paladin would be awesome. I have very hard against ret paladins even tho I achiveed 2200+.

i play both rogue and hunter. I find this fight infinitely easier as a hunter. Especially in arena. I know i have heard almost the exact opposite from most.

Serpen sting is not used very often in pvp , especially in duels and arena, is because it breaks the CC and it is disspellable by certain classees

i think he has his pet on passive so the rogue cant redirect the combo points into a full kidney shot. or gain free recup off his pet.
