    When Josh Brolin said there'd been all that debauchery going on back then, it reminded me of an interview with Ann Miller in the 1990s when she said the same thing! And she'd actually been in Hollywood from the 1930s onward, so she really knew it firsthand.

    for a coen bros movie it was as dull as hell. the trailer looked great with the word play, but there was nothing much else to it.

    This is such an annoying film that is a hate letter to the 1950s Hollywood with some charming moments, but mostly unfunny humor and offensive approach.

      would that it twere sooo simple!! no spoilers since i haven't seen it yet ! but i understood the sentiment of how this is meant to be a love letter to the 50'S imagine if JAMES ELLROY wrote this!? gangland shoot-outs drugs hookers racial slurs closet homosexuals the best lesbian sex scenes !! [WAIT THAT'S IF I WROTE IT !!] LOL! still looks promising!!
