I've upgraded mine with the CYCK secondary mirror spider, primary mirror mask, primary mirror backing plate and the CYCK focuser. The difference is astonishing. Good prices on Ali Express 👌 Also, blackened the edges and back of the secondary mirror.
That's an amazing mod. That's going to be my next spend. I was looking at the cyck kit. Cuiv did something similar I think. Are you UK based? Clear skies
I'd love the chance to do one 🤣 had a brief window but wasn't very successful. Clouds rolled in and a couple of other issues. Only got a couple of hours unguided and tracking was off too.. M81 & M82. Have a look at @richysastrou
On the whole very well. Holds collimation quite well. But I have been contemplating an ocal collimator to really dial it in better. The only thing is I wish I'd bought a bigger one. But then I am positioning it with a dslr. If I had a one shot cooked camera I'd be a lot happier. That's next on the list.
@@richardmorris4697 Well don't forget SVBONY sale. I just bagged a SV405 (IMX294) camera for just over £400. The Quattro is next on my list once I get sorted with a mount. Will you be doing anymore videos?
As long as your back focus is the same as a crooked sensor, it will work the same. I literally attach my T ring to the focal reducer flatterner with no issues. Good luck

Nice little tube. And i like your socks !
Thanks!
Nice first video. I keep looking at the 150 quattro as an upgrade to my 130pds when funds permit.
I honestly can't endorse it yet. But if everything I've heard is true, its going to be a great scope
I've just bought the same telescope this is my first telescope and just starting out in this hobby so will be watching more 👍
Good luck, collimation is very important and tricky to get spot on.
Hoping to see what you do with it
About to reveive mine this week.
Would love a first light video
