      It looks nice, what do you love about it? I have purchased and returned a couple DIs since they sound bad. I don't want cheesy effects, I would really like it to sound great. Cheers!

    Quite happy to see Josh working with Zoom. I already have a zoom recorder after he gave a tutorial on using one for in the field recording. Looks like I'll be adding one of these for my interface recording =)

    The AC3 looks like a great piece of gear! It seems to have all of things I use 4 pedals on an acoustic rig for plus all of the really cool extras. Very interested in this.
    As an aside, can I just say that I can't not see Ferris Bueller when watching him. :)

    I find the "Target Guitar" setting as described by Zoom baffling. It does the same thing as "Source Guitar". If you select a specific model of guitar, its type is already known. So "Target Guitar" is more like a finer tuning of "Source Guitar", and should theoretically be turned off when you don't have one of the listed specific models. The way the two functions are labeled suggests that "Target Guitar" is a modeling function, and I'm sure everyone ends up using it that way.

    Sounds great...big question is what are we hearing in here... direct / miced amp / room...all together? also what is the guitar pickup system and what is the direct sound in order to create some kind of reference...? thank you

    I'm starting to put together a pedalboard for my ukuleles...baritone and others. This looks like it might fit the bill, instead of stuffing four or five pedals onto a board. Any experiences using a nylon guitar/ukulele with this?

    Hello, first of all! congratulation for the device! sounds amazing!! i would like to ask you something about electric guitar usage, is it possible to plug an electic guitar in it? first of all, would it work? if yes, once i get the sound can i use it like an acoustic simulator?
    Thanks

    • @ZoomSoundLab

      You could connect an electric guitar but this is not an acoustic simulator. We would only recommend connecting acoustic instruments.

    Can you get adequate slapback delay for country with good reverb at the same time? Or do you have to do only one at a time? Nice demo!

    How does it work with transducer pickups like the 3/4 size Yamaha APX-T2 acoustic guitar?

    How can you switch from one tone
    preset to another while playing live?
    Are you going to turn the tone
    selector with your fingers while
    playing live? Or can you do it with your foot
    while playing live?
    Anyone?
    Thanks!

    Hi, thanks for the review and I can see you had fun playing around. Can I connect the output of ZOOM AC3 to acoustic guitar input like Yamaha THR5A or Marshall AS50D or orange crush Acoustic 30? The reason for this is I like the Shimmer effect (Pad) and would like to use it for professional performances with acoustic guitar amp....
    Will this ruin my Zoom AC3 or acoustic guitar amp?
    In other words, will such acoustic guitar amplifiers support line level input from Zoom AC3 (Left/mono OUT)

    Great! Very nice presentation of Zoom AC3 ....
    I have Yamaha SLG200N (nylon) and I am interested in possibility to get realistic sound of a steel string guitar (Jambo, Dreadnought, 12 Strings...) via Zoom AC3?
    Thank you in advance for help.

    I bought the AC3 last week and I am close to getting the sound that I want going through the PA. However I am unsure what the the 2 xlr balance outputs are at the back. Do they
    plug in to the PA as well as the output back and what does this so? I am new to PA'ing hence my ignorance... HEEELPP

      @@michael_caz_nyc It can be used to enable/disable the anti-feedback function.

    Why do you need that,if you have a good sounding acoustic guitar, with a good amp?

    • @jimmy5634
      @jimmy5634 23 дні тому

      You wouldn’t.
      If you have a a Fishman amp you can use as a monitor on stage, you can run that through a PA and use all the effects the amp provides

    • @lurogaso
      @lurogaso 5 років тому

      Yes. Theres is an anti-feedback switch to automatically find and cut the frequency band thats is causing feedback.

    I just bought one of these, and then watched this video of this kid who knows 3 chords, and doesn't know how to use it. and made me second guess buying this thing. Everyone thinks they are a professional musician on You Tube.

      ahahahahaha, you read an abbreviation and then, all of a sudden, you come up with that other context, where that same abbreviation has been used ages ago and then you type that in a comment section on UA-cam, ahahahahaha
