    • @PadillaBSD
      @PadillaBSD 6 років тому +2

      Ivar Sanders you need to learn how fall properly and slowly when doing a handstand(without the wall). I think the thenx app has the instruction on how to fall properly. If you have enough shoulder strength then, when you try to handstand(without the wall) you will not fall in you face.

      You could try free standing handstand with a friend spotting you, so catching your legs when you first kick up and then letting go when you are ready. Also you need to learn how to fall properly as this helps you defeat the fear of falling over, and once you've got that down you will progress. some added tips; while handstanding against a wall practice squeezing and the floor with your fingertips to move your free away from the wall, and then releasing to counterbalance so your feet fall the opposite way. It will benefit your free standing handstand a lot!

      Just kick up and hold it while contracting ur legs and core don't be like a fucking noodle with no tension instead be like a hard stick. This tip helped me holding my longest handstand yet. And if u fall and get hurt a little then that's good too cause the fear will get removed about getting hurt for the first time while doing a handstand, thats how i overcame my fear after slamming down on my hips that were sore the next few days

    Can't wait to see new THENX gym!
    Would be great if you guys could shoot some kind of HIIT session (long time from last one) involving bars, but still doable for intermediate level ;)

    Hahaha, I invented the handstand press in middle school (not really, but fun trick to do). I can sit on the floor L seat and press into a ball and pushup into a handstand! Soooo cool to see this!
