Kantár, árpa, balta, tőr, gyöngy, ölyv, ökör, süveg and some hundred other words came from ancient Turkish. ;)

Those words are either not related to a 21st century lifestyle, and/or are very niche. I think the similarity is due to the fact that both languages have vowel harmony and the stress is always on the 1st syllable in both languages.

Every language has it’s own beauty and ugliness. Dutch language (netherlands language) has the same! But there’s no reason not to be proud of the language you’re speaking. :)
@@EshplumeReacts Our language is very rich and incredibly detailed for us, and I love it because it's also very funny and deep too. What Azi does with it is also quite amazing.
But when I was a child, we were taught that it sounds badly, because there are a lot of E letters, it's like we're speaking goat language.
