Thanks for watching :-) If you'd like to see a painting tutorial of the Chaos Ork, sound off in the comments below! And, if you have any other great ideas for a conversion, let us know! Also, please don't forget to LIKE and LEAVE A COMMENT for the Algorithm God (The 5th God of Chaos I'm sure) 🤣 And, if you enjoyed the content, please consider subscribing to the channel. Cheers
With the new terminator kits... I'd say Tyberos of the Carchordons... and using actual dreadnought bits to make the largest known astartes... and pay homage to the Red Wake not seen yet. Cheers!
Please paint! I'd be really interested in your take on hell boy, but an ork, but chaos. Most of Hell boy's color is drab, except his skin, so how you take "drab color inspiration" and punch it up to chaos/ork excesses would be a fascinating lesson on color usage and interpretation. I've rewatched your votann space suit video for the exact same reason. Thoughtful discussion of inspiration and interpretation.
This turned out really cool, I would love to see da 'ell boy painted up. It would also be killer if you guys considered doing these every now and again because this was a real fun and informative video to watch.
Looks kinda what I imagined Tuska, the "Daemon-Killa" to look like. He was an ork first mentioned in the 4th edition Ork codex. He fought his was INTO the Eye of Terror and so greatly pleased Khorne through slaughtering Daemons that the Blood God ensured Tuska's Waaagh! fights eternally in the shadow of the Brass Citadel. Thanks for doing this kitbash! I think it would look awesome painted!
I am so happy because you make your own videos. I miss you in the GW Tutorials. :( But it is nice to see you still on UA-cam! More Videos! This Ork is a nice guy, haha. I would like to see an whole army of these Orks!
This is a fantastic kitbash! Pete the Wargamer would approve I think! How you described the lore for the character combines so well with how it came out which I think is a great indicator you nailed it. Would love to see Da Hellboy painted up!
Amazing work as always, folks! the kitbashing process is some of the most enjoyable hobby to watch, and I can't wait to see Da "Ellboy in all his crimson glory! 🤘
I subscribed back when this channel first started but kinda fell off due to not being so interested in the hobby for a time. Glad to see coming back that Duncan still has all his charm, and the production quality is even more polished.
Conversions like this is one of my favourite parts of the 40k hobby. There is nothing more satisfying than lovingly converting and painting a character to lead your army into battle. Or making a squad of handpicked veteran warriors that character can lead into glorious combat. Like, say a mob of Chaos Nobz for Da 'Ellboy! so they can krump some of dem dere Beakies, and Umies, and Pointy-eared Gits on their way to krump dem Boys wot kicked 'Ellboy out of 'is Klan. Or a lovingly converted Chaos Lord and a squad of Chosen as the centerpiece of a Chaos Space Marines army. And I would love to see Da 'Ellboy fully painted.
Wow, Duncan! That's an incredible result! I can't wait to see you paint this bad boy up. I've been following you since you did painting lessons with GW, but I never knew you were such a pro with conversions! You make me want to make an entire army of chaos orcs xD
Onde again you have inspired me to continue on with my hobby projects Duncan. Watching your videos really sets the mood to dive into the WH Universe, and motivates me to paint up the shameful pile of opportunity. Please paint the Big guy red like hellboy😄
15:36 you can also mix in about 25% pre-mixed Milliput for even more pliability (and a harder final cure) 15:45 save that semi cured stripe and mix it into a batch that will just be for filling (no detail sculpting) and save a few cents! 😄
Great stuff - I happened to be in the middle of "modifying" some Kroot as I watched this! The only thing I'd suggest is maybe a blob of milliput inside the body cavity; it gives the parts you're putting together a bit more surface area to stick to, so it's more stable and less of a Kinder Egg of parts glued to one another. Plus if you're lucky any excess will get pushed out through any holes, giving you a head start on green stuffing the gaps!
That’s awesome! I’d love to see him painted up. A general “tool use” (knife, clippers, green stuff etc) for kitbashing video would be useful too I think. How to get the best results safely!
'Ell yeah! Paint da Boss! Looking forward to see it being painted! Would be awesome though if it would be an amazing ammochainbelt hanging underneath into some hellish deamon ammo spitter. Awesome conversion Duncan! Love the destruction this mad lad will wreck upon worlds for Khorne!
Excellent conversion! The scale of the hands and arms of the Daemon Prince worked quite well with the Megaboss. That is one of the hardest parts of elevating a good conversion to a great one, is making sure it all works together
Wow, I really like the conversion! It is also a super "converting basics" video. ABSOLUTELY make a painting video! I play chaos and I love seeing all kind of models converted to chaos...so maybe a chaos-eldar or chaos-tyranid sounds like a fun conversion (even though it makes no sense lore-wise)
This boy looks fantastic! I for one am nowhere near that good at converting, but I'm at least trying. And yes, I would love to see this fella painted up, nice and Daemonic.
Glad to see you branch out from two thin coats with your new 'one thin film' conversion series. In all seriousness, I absolutely adore this, have always loved the idea of Chaos Orks and this does them justice, would love to see this bad boy painted.
Love to see it! Definitely wanna see this 'Ell Boy painted up. As a suggestion for another kitbash, maybe something like a unique Tech-Priest? They're so varied in the fluff but the official models for them (while really cool) don't show the range of the Omnissiah's Blessings.
Love it! Da ‘ell boy looks amazing now, would love to see you paint it up. I enjoyed your content for years and have watched almost all of your videos (or videos you starred in lol). The conversion idea is great and would love to see more of it.
@@DuncanRhodesDRPA well you make it look easy, it gives people like myself a little more confidence to be able to attempt conversions with all of our extra bits and turn something that games workshop has produced into something of our own.
Stopped by my local B&M today, Critical Hit Games in Abingdon, Harford County, Maryland and I was surprised to see that they are now carrying Two Thin Coats paint. You’ve made it across the pond, buddy!
Hi Duncan, this is a really fun video please make more of these tutorials because they are truly inspiring. offcourse i and i think other people would love to see you paining up Da 'Ellboy!
i can't describe how nice it looks and how the orking up the demon gun hand made it perfect, would adore a painting video and hsi scheme soon. Red boiz best boiz!

Can't wait to see you paint it Hellboy-Style ;)

Yeah, I'd like to see him all painted up!
Love it! Thought the horns would be a bit much, but they're absolutely perfect. Would love to see this bad boy get painted!
Agreed. We were concerned about them at first but they came out looking perfect

Glad you take divergence path to do conversion stuff, can't wait to see the next conversion you will do
More to come!
I love the idea of da 'ellboy just jamming magazines inside of his arm to keep it firing!
I love conversion work like no other, please do more.
It sure is fun
I love this, definitely would love to see him painted too!
Absolutely love kitbash videos! Please do more of these. Would love a painting video for him too.

Thanks for the video! Nostalgia really takes me back! 😉Great idea for a twist.
You are a GREAT teacher!!!! Thank you so much for getting me back in to this hobby again!
You've given the Ork a good name for a Khornatic Ork Boss! You've nailed the kitbashing.

Great to see a guide to process of thinking through conversions. Gonna watch painting now!
Definitely need the painting vid mate!
Amazing work as always, folks! the kitbashing process is some of the most enjoyable hobby to watch, and I can't wait to see Da "Ellboy in all his crimson glory! 🤘

Very nice! It'll look awesome in red, brass and black!
I am way too invested in the progress of this character. I genuinely cant wait to see how it will end up

Nice one Duncan, a Kitbash worthy of Pete the Wargamer. Can't wait to see you paint it.
Such a great conversion, and I love seeing stuff that is really out on the edge of the lore. I can't wait to see this painted.

Of course I want to see you paint it and after that make three more for the other Chaos Gods 😄
