As someone who was born here in the US but is the child of two African immigrants I can tell you that my parents were treated very kindly by people of all races, especially white people. They were able to become successful through hard work and dedication, which probably explains why they are much more conservative minded, both socially and fiscally. When you understand the value of hard work, you value your money much more than someone who has everything given to them like much of today's generation. I'm 35 and I was never given any handouts, my parents made sure that I knew that if I wanted something, I would have to work for it, just like they did.

I get a mix of both regular media and UA-camrs but you have to be very careful with UA-camrs as well because you got a lot of people out there that don't really know the historical facts they reference or the history of anything it's just some 20-year-old dude that has opinions based on his feelings in some facts or story he read somewhere. So yeah I agree it's good to always do your own fact-checking and even when people post charts and graphs and things like that don't necessarily take their opinion on those graphs look at them and analyze the data yourself

Doesn't matter if it's true or not, give it a good headline that invokes emotion and structure the story to sell mystery or panders to strong emotional views. I've used this as a pretty good test as to the impartiality of any news source. If a politician gets in trouble, any trouble, and in the first sentence or two they say he/she is a Republican, but then if another one gets in trouble and don't say he/she is a Democrat until WAY down in the story, or if they don't mention party affiliation at all (most likely Democrat) then I know I'm dealing with a biased news source. The news media should be unbiased. They should report facts only, they should relate what happened, who did it, where it happened, when it happened, how it happened. Any speculation, opinion, interpretation should be avoided. Let the viewer draw his own conclusion. And on another subject, ( I'm giving my opinion in advance) the so-called Presidential candidate debates should be discontinued as they are slanted by the broadcast network through the moderator and topics. I have never used the "debate" as a decision maker for my vote. A better method would be to give each candidate broadcast time without interruptions to present his ideas and proposed policies for solving problems. Topics could be suggested, but the moderator should present them, then shut up and let the candidate speak. Just my idea to have a realistic discussion on the candidates proposals. I'd rather hear from each candidate what he plans to do than hear what the other candidate is going to do.

But if the moderator picks the subjects they would be: who is your favorite designer, what do you like on your hamburger, do you put slaw on your hot dogs etc. Not what we want to hear about which is what would you do about inflation, would you shut down the fossil fuel industry and if so what would you replace the energy it produces with, do you believe we should embrace the globalist agenda, do you believe that the Constitution as written is a relevant, would you secure the southern border and only allow legal entry of foreigners seeking entry, do you believe in the U S Supreme Court and would you do everything in your power as President to make sure the Supreme COURT justices and their families are protected regardless of who appointed them and how they vote on any issue put before them, would you promote de funding the police or any other policy that would make our neighborhoods less safe? These are serious times and we need serious leaders who respect our Constitution, all of our branches of government, and have well thought out policies they can explain to us before they get in office.

I've used this as a pretty good test as to the impartiality of any news source.
If a politician gets in trouble, any trouble, and in the first sentence or two they say he/she is a Republican, but then if another one gets in trouble and don't say he/she is a Democrat until WAY down in the story, or if they don't mention party affiliation at all (most likely Democrat) then I know I'm dealing with a biased news source. And I take everything they say afterward with a grain of salt.

The news media should be unbiased. They should report facts only, they should relate what happened, who did it, where it happened, when it happened, how it happened. Any speculation, opinion, interpretation should be avoided. Let the viewer draw his own conclusion. And on another subject, ( I'm giving my opinion in advance) the so-called Presidential candidate debates should be discontinued as they are slanted by the broadcast network through the moderator and topics. I have never used the "debate" as a decision maker for my vote. A better method would be to give each candidate broadcast time without interruptions to present his ideas and proposed policies for solving problems. Topics could be suggested, but the moderator should present them, then shut up and let the candidate speak. Just my idea to have a realistic discussion on the candidates proposals. I'd rather hear from each candidate what he plans to do than hear what the other candidate is going to do.
That sounds like a sound idea. But if the moderator picks the subjects they would be: who is your favorite designer, what do you like on your hamburger, do you put slaw on your hot dogs etc. Not what we want to hear about which is what would you do about inflation, would you shut down the fossil fuel industry and if so what would you replace the energy it produces with, do you believe we should embrace the globalist agenda, do you believe that the Constitution as written is a relevant, would you secure the southern border and only allow legal entry of foreigners seeking entry, do you believe in the U S Supreme Court and would you do everything in your power as President to make sure the Supreme COURT justices and their families are protected regardless of who appointed them and how they vote on any issue put before them, would you promote de funding the police or any other policy that would make our neighborhoods less safe? These are serious times and we need serious leaders who respect our Constitution, all of our branches of government, and have well thought out policies they can explain to us before they get in office.
