You must be in a super good mood as your exceptionally bubbly, so cute. Love that your so real about normal life & gardening. You take the fear of perfect gardening and present it as real life. Been with your channel for 3 years now & love my mornings watching. Also have learned so much, thank you.

I just can't thank you enough of how you have lifted my mood (a prolonged depression era) by watching you, a hardworking mom, entrepreneur, a humble and knowledgeable gardener, and many wonderful characteristics you have..you rise and rise even when life gets hard and have that joy. I love spending time with you Jenny. Thank you so much.❤ Sending love and hugs from another mom of 3 young ones up north Canada. I learnt from you to find joy and retreat to my little garden zone 3, but especially how to carry on after the "storms". So sorry that flash floods happened and took so much inventory away. You are so strong and loved Jenny.

Love the berm area and so satisfying to see the pruning back. Overall, video looks and sounds awesome. I did, however, feel when the camera moved around, that it had a dizzying affect. Excellent quality when camera was still. Thank you for the info and the inspo!

Thank you! I need to whack back my daisies after the rain splayed them open. They were every bit of 4’ tall!! I wasn’t sure how far to cut them back and now I do! Thank you!
As for the camera, I’m getting started in the business of making videos for UA-cam and other platforms to bolster my business and my the nonprofit I work with. This channel has always been one that I have aspired to for video quality. ❤ I have to say that I am experiencing a love hate relationship with this new camera. It was nice to see crisp shots and close ups and it was super helpful for you to be able to zoom in. The auto focus shifted between you and the background quite a bit. When your face was in the shot, it stayed on you, but when you were profile and your hat covered your face just enough, the facial recognition stopped working and the camera zoomed in on the hibiscus in the background. All that is probably just settings and getting accustomed to the new tech. Anytime the camera was being flipped or you were walking, I could see and feel every tiny turn and step. Perhaps with a gimbal and/or tweaking the image stabilization settings this could get smoothed out, but in all honesty it was very Blair Witch Project/Home video worthy. Play around with it and let’s try it again! There’s always a learning curve!

I learn so much from you! Watching you work is so inspirational! But... Oh, to be able to squat and sit on my heels like you do! 😳 It's been 50+ years since I could do that, so I have to bend with almost straight legs, head hanging down. I use my rolling garden stool, too! I was a kid with major knee problems, so... Hoping to find a channel as good as yours and Jim Putnam's, designed for handicapped people. Or rather, "differently able-bodied" gardeners. ✨

Thank you so much for showing how to prune the shastas and amsonia. I recently cut back my shastas because they were crowding out my beautiful little quickfire. But I didn't cut as far back as you did because I was worried about them surviving in our central VA heatwave. Now I'm going back to cut them back further so I can enjoy more of my panicle. Plus, I am now planning to move them in the fall like you're going to do because they are so massive and definitely breaching 5 feet!
Also, I didn't know what was wrong with my amsonia because it was starting to lie down and it's just a first year plant, so now I'm going to trim them back so they can get thicker. I ALWAYS learn something from your videos! Stay cool; we have been having 100+ temps with the dewpoint levels.

Hi there Jenney: Everything in your garden looks beautiful & colorful so your doing a good job with your camera work & audio is clear. I am going to try applying PREEN to certain areas of the garden as recommended after planting to prevent weeds. My guess is probably I'll have to use your method as well and just go through and remove other weeds that pop through myself. Good to see Niagra Fall grass after it has grown for awhile.. The one I purchased from Creekside Gardens is really taking off well! Thanks very much for your video & have a good week ahead!

Thank you, Jenny for all the pruning tips! So helpful! As for the camera, I don't mean for this to sound negative by any means. You asked for honest feedback, so I just wanted to share my thoughts. The quality of the picture was very nice. However, I'm not a fan of the background being blurred when you're talking to the camera. But that may just be a setting on the camera, I don't know. I'm NOT very techy!😅 Also, it seemed a bit shaky when you were panning. But I appreciate you trying out new things to bring us the best quality videos that you can! You and Jerry do such an amazing job with your gardens and the videos, and I watch all of them! Blessings from a fellow homeschooling mom!😄

Wonderful instructional video, Jenny. I already know of a few perennials that need to be cut back in my garden and I’ll do those as soon as it’s more bearable outside. Video image is much much clearer, the image did seem a bit shaky and less focused when the camera was moving around so this might be a great one to use on a stationary tripod. Hope you’re having a great weekend.
