- In December of 2015, I went to LA to track drums for my good friends in I See Stars' new album 'Treehouse'. I did all of the songs, excluding 'All In'. This is my favorite track off of the album, I highly recommend checking it out!
This was filmed at Studio 3D in Phoenix, Arizona, cinematography by Matt Johnson, audio by Cameron Mizell of Chango Studios.

Kinda hard to hear, but it was a bell hit on the ride, sounded like a china with his other cymbals still ringing out though.
yeah, in the video he hit the bell, but in the audio he hit a china.
Probably blame doing multiple takes on that one. It's pretty tough to do the same take consistently over and over again, even if you yourself wrote the parts.

I find it tough to enjoy the drumming when some of those overhead shots go all cloverfield. I personally learn a lot from these videos and like to focus on the drums which in this case was a little difficult to do. That being said, another superb performance by Luke

I can't get into the "lip synced" covers he does, but Luke does a great job of covering his own parts besides some minor cymbal changes. Great production as usual, but it's time for live play throughs my man, too good to not!

Luke Holland, I have been watching you for many many years now....back to your long hair and strict metal covers lol. Two words I think describe you well as a drummer, coming from a fellow drummer, are explosive and clean.

Love your work on the new ISS album, but is there a particular reason that they had you come in and play as opposed to Andrew still playing drums and doing synth/vocal work on just the album and do what he does with synths and vocals live? That much still seems unclear to me since Andrew was their drummer beforehand. Anyways, great work.
