Unboxing Skates | Sure Grip Fame vs Riedell Uptown

The Sure Grip Skates were purchased on RollerSkateNation for $160.
These are both indoor skates, Bre’s Rollr Grl skates are indoor skates.
While at the rink we could definitely tell the difference between the wheels her wheels do not keep spinning. Kind of hard to describe but yea

In my day all I saw were regular metal Suregrip, Century Suregrip, and Snyder Deluxe with Riedell boots. The best artistic skates, Snyder and Century, the most beautiful plates and boots you can have on your feet. It's old school and it's nice ♥

I got them a week ago and tried them out this weekend. I was used to rentals and some cheap outdoor skates. The Uptown’s are a nicely engineered piece of precision. I can’t wait for my skills to do these skates justice. I feel so much more control with these skates.
It took 5-6 weeks to get here. I have a 10.5 Wide on regular shoe and the 10.5D feel a bit snug, but no blisters at all. I’m absolutely happy with them!

Best plates by far and that last a life time are Sure grip century plates or the classic plate, best boots riedell 220 boot 120 and 297,

Anyone got any recommendations on adding shoe support for bottom of feet. I got the sure grips they comfortable but I got some flat ass feet. Extra padding recommendation?

@@TheMightyQ718 I did not go up. Surprisingly they fit better than the Fames. I was a little skeptical because they are more narrow but they feel good.

How are you liking the juice compared to the fames? I’m on sure grip boardwalks, which I think are similar to Fames, but I’m thinking of bumping to juice...
