Crazy how I got instantly hooked on all of the artist's songs when I stumbled upon the first song in my spotify recommended lists. The two full albums never fail to put me in a trance when I play them. The artist has a special place in my mind.
I wonder how much of these songs is actual self-com position and what´s sampled. Either way, this is easily one of the best ambient albums to come out in 2018. The amount of emotion in the 1st track overwhelms me every time. What an impactful artistic expression, what a beautiful album.
@Wayward Animal Silent Hill 2 OST maybe look at the track Heaven's Night and Alone in the Town on the album. It has a kind of what I feel they're describing, though the tracks on the OST have a faster BPM. EDIT: After going through some of the tracks I think The Day of Night is the prime example of what they mean!

I love how it is detailed enough to reward you when you are giving it all your attention, but still can be set as background music. Wonderful

It's close. Even though unique and beautiful in its own way, I'd say, not quite there. I can definitely see the comaparison though.
I'd say the only problem with this release is that it's too short
