2 years ago I spent 2 weeks in an immersion class in Mexico and was sad I only tested into advanced beginner. It motivated me to study a lot--I mean a lot--more. I got 30/30 on this test so the motivation paid off. And I feel much more comfortable speaking. Not bad at 68,
congratulations!
Great !
....but what has 68 got to do with it? ...imo, the idea that languages are harder as you become older is incorrect....people give themselves a handicap right off the bat by having this idea in their minds.
Felicidades
Wow, kudos!
@@Floorguy1000 Age do have to do with it, a lot!
29 of 30. I am great at doing this kind of stuff. When it comes to having conversation, I can't keep up T___T
Same, 29/30
The Las compras question was tricky, I couldn't tell if it was talking about going shopping or purchases
I think i should've gotten it but I didn't
However a tomato is a fruit so I didn't get that one, but I knew all the vocabulary. (I thought a grape was a vegetable until now)
I still count that one right
You have to practice speaking with people. I didn’t learn Spanish from a class or a book. I learned it speaking with other people.

I got 30/30. I've been learning spanish for 4 months daily... I'm from Croatia and I grew up watching mexican telenovelas. However when I was in México a month ago for the first time as a guy who just turned 18 (I'm proud to say this) speaking spanish was stressful, even though I understand almost everything in Spanish (I watch telenovelas to this day without subtitles)
And one guy from Argentina I met on my trip said that I speak like an american who is trying to speak spanish. Which was really discouraging. However I'll now fight to fluency!
Saque todas correctas llevo hablando Espanol 16 años ....😎😎😎😎
Llevo hablando español todo mi vida

he estado aprendiendo español durante 1 año as of el otra día, and I scored 25/30 😊 I've been using duolingo, y libros y películas y canciones y este channel along with other channels and podcasts on spotify. It's been so amazing being able to understand things I couldn't before 😊
25\30 . A portuguese trying to do the test. the result was better then i though. Spanish is such a beautiful language ! gracias :)

tomato is technically a fruit. The tomato is one of the most used fruits in international gastronomy, essential for cuisines such as Italian or Mexican. Its origin is located from Mexico to South America, however, its domestication occurred in our country. The Mexica knew it as xīctomatl, a Nahuatl word that means “fruit with a navel”
Would be helpful to use the A1/-C2 framework
Bear in mind that the Spanish taught here emanates from Mexico _and not from Europe_ so won't follow the EU-wide languages gradings
I think I am just below C1 and I got one wrong in 1st half and one wrong in second.
@@paulfaulkner6299 yes it will, and does. Aside from that, I don't think any question in here got past A2 (advanced beginner).
The European framework is so good that other countries at least base their proficiency levels on it.
30/30. I guess I picked up more Spanish than i realized from my ex-wife. That was fun, thanks for posting it!
Hi, I did the test and got 30/30. I'm happy with the results. I'm deaf and I learned Spanish within some months. I wanted to learn it to be able to communicate with my family. I've been longed for learning Spanish for years. I finally understand some of Spanish. However, it still sucks that I haven't learned so much vocabulary of Spanish. I need this thing because I believe that it can improve my writing in Spanish and be fluent like the basic conversation as well as immediate level. Hopefully I can continue with learning the vocabulary of Spanish and improve my writing and reading in Spanish.
29/30!
When I moved back to the east coast I haven't needed to use Spanish nearly as much and was feeling a bit anxious about how much I still remembered.
I should def study more, but I recall more than I thought.
I have only been studying Spanish for 2 months but I got 21/30 in this test. Maybe because I am a Filipino so I got a big head start. I enjoyed this test and I will keep studying and improving myself.
This is so crazy because I'm LEVEL 3 when reading but actively listening to it all runs together. I may need to join!
Estoy contento con el nivel tres. ¡Gracias a Dios! 🙏🏿🥳
Felicidades Junior!
26/30. I speak fluent Greek and that helps me understand similar syntax, grammar and masculine/feminine distinctions.

I got 27+ correct, enjoyed the video-I will keep watching and learning!!!!
This was actually helpful because I'm no good at taking proficiency level tests. 27/30, and am planning on still improving!! Thank you! ❤️❤️
De nada Mellisa :D Gracias a ti!
I got them all right, yay - I learned Spanish in childhood (I grew up sort of like bilingual) from movies / series and lyrics!
Anyways, I am the only being reflecting the nature related terms / names mar / Mar (in Maria) and fern / Fern (in Fernanda) and season related terms such as spring - such terms / names can’t be misused in names, so they must be edited out and changed, and, the red emoticon also only reflect me, myself being the only lovable / loved being!
The special names Elisa / Lisa (in Mellisa) also only reflect me!
I think I know about 10.000 words in Spanish, or maybe more - except for most tool names / technical terms / medical terms etc, but, I’m trying to learn those too...
Estuvo difícil pero por suerte respondí todas bien, muy buen video. Saludos desde Argentina xd

25/30 😅 OMG! It should have been perfect. 🤣 I speak 3 languages fluently (English, Filipino and Bicol - my mother tongue) and Español will be the 4th one! I promise I'll be fluent in Spanish soon.🙏 There's still a lot that I need to learn. Muchas cosas. 🥺
Next on list: Japanese, French, Korean and Mandarin. So help me, God! 😅
It's really impressive how many language you know. I wish you luck on learning more. I only speak English fluently but I'm trying to learn Spanish.

tomi este prueba en diciembre de 2021, fue nivel 2. ahora, estoy nivel 3!! Imersion y practicar puede ayuda! Immersion works :))) I was level 2 in december last year andnow I am level 3 and got 27/30 correct :) keep going guys, it did not take long just a little practice regularly a little each day or week
30/30. But I still have to look at subtitles to learn words that I can't pick out. I had language partners to practice with, but they were really speaking too fast, and I got tired of telling them to slow down. Trying to understand rapid speech is still problematic, but stopping to rewind and imitate is helping me to become more familiar with the sounds of spoken Spanish.
That was fun, and I did better than I expected (not guessing). :) Thank you!
Muchas gracias! He respondido a 27 preguntas correctamente!
15/15 at half way... 27 at the end. I'm pretty happy with that!
20/30 but I’ve only been learning for a couple months with no exposure to any Spanish before, happy with that!!
Omg same , ive been learning for 3 months starting from scratch, although i speak french which is helping a little . Got 20/30
@@eliehabchy8601 nice one!! 😁🫂
That’s exactly what I got after 2 years in high school plus 2 semesters in college! It has been over 20 years since then so I guess it’s not too too bad! I’m looking to get back into learning and I wasn’t sure where to start so this was pretty cool to find.
Nicely presented!
I liked it. I had to pause a couple of times and work through, but 28/30
Estoy muy feliz con eso😂
13/15 🤷🏼♂️ Thanks for this vid! ☮️🏆
19/30. Still a ways to go, but I'm happy with that score at this point.

Wow I got level three. I wasn’t expecting that.
I'm level 3 apparently ,in my school we write texts and have to talk (make conversation) with the teacher so I think that helps
29/30 muchas gracias
29/30 Was very happy with how 100% confident I was with my answers too. I only had 1 where I had to guess between 2 choices (and got it haha) Now it's time to get immersed in the language and become more fluent with my speaking! Thank you for the confidence booster!

i got 27/30, but as you said it’s just and indication. level 3 is absolutely not my level of spanish. However i was able to answer correctly to many questions because i studied spanish in middle school for some time and because my mother tongue (italian) is very similar to spanish. so, this test was nothing more than a way for me to understand, more or less, what i need to revise, since i’m determined to learn spanish as my third language.
30/30, Though I thought the questions would get harder toward the end, I felt like the difficulty was comparable in the last 10 questions.
29/30. Was actually 30/30 but I guessed on one, wasn’t too confident in what the question was💀. But after I guessed the answer correctly(sociable), I realized exactly what the question was asking. It was such a beginner level question too omg😭😭
Wow wow , que bien! Muchas gracias ☺️ I speak Russian , English and Arabic. I’m learning Spanish la misma and I’m doing well! All thanks to your channel guys! Thanks a lot! I got 28 out of 30 ❤️

Got all of them right.
Section 1: 15/15
Section 2: 13/15
I studied 2 semesters of Spanish in high school, 1.5 in college, and I used to spend every summer in Mexico back in the early 2000s... but my Spanish was never even half as good as that resume would suggest. I just recently started doing Duolingo to try to get my Spanish up to par again and I'm doing alright using Duolingo!
30/30
Im that kind of person that likes to see other people learn what you already know ( I’m a native Spanish speaker )
30/30 after 6 months of self-teaching through books and UA-cam videos. Yet I can barely hold a conversation unless the person speaks very slowly and anunciantes every word distinctly.
I got 21. Which TBH I'm happy with. Some of them I got right cos the other answers didn't look/sound right.
26/30. I have to watch Spring Spanish more to figure out what level 3 means.
27/30, and that’s many years after high school Spanish class. I’ve had the opportunity to converse in Spanish all these years, but many reply in English. That, and hearing difficulties make understanding others difficult.
Yo hablo español como mi idioma materno XD

15 of 15 correct!
10/15 for the first one and i never studied spanish. The second one there was no way for me to get it right.
¡NIEVEL DOS! Wepa, chambea! Jala!!❤️
Level 2. Thank you, this was interesting:) I got 23/30 I think. But for me it went a bit fast on the screen so with more time I think I would have had 26 out of 30.
Thank you Duolingo 🦉.

10/30. Not good at all but not bad for someone who took one class of Spanish in high school back in 2011 barely passing with a C
This started with determining between levels beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Then it ended with level 1, 2, or 3. So 1 equals beginner and so on?

Mí nivel de español es perfecto soy muy buena hablando el idioma y conjugando los verbos.
Fun fact : soy hablante nativa 🤡
Mmm, no siendo hispanohablante, veo inmediatamente que la tilde en el pronombre posesivo "mi" está incorrecta y que en una frase decente, un punto y aparte debe ir después de "perfecto" porque el resto forma una nueva frase.

Level 3 woohoo! Still need A LOT of work 😅
I just skipped to the middle and the very first question I saw was telling me to conjugate a verb without specifying a tense or giving any indication what tense it might be.
Very basic questions and conjugations, there’s no way any of this constitutes intermediate in my opinion
