Franco Corelli, what a beautiful, magnificent voice. Incomparable.
Am I the only one that cried listening to this? A more perfect song could not have been chosen. I might have this played at my funeral. I speak French, yet have never heard this! It's stunning .
Bravo! Bravo! Spectacular! The best singer of this beautiful aria. Amazing breath control, perfect diction, sang as a prayer, slowly and powerfully....
He never ceases to fascinate. He is like no other. Remains supreme.
sublime .
There are 2 types of singers: Franco Corelli and the rest of us.
bravo Maestro
Maestro Corelli!
Great selection for this concert. Franco is fabulous. Lots of former colleagues, now deceased, playing in the orchestra.
Amazing! Very heart felt warm sounding voice that was one with his listeners.
bravissimo!!!!
Corelli siempre tremndísimo
that high B to end the aria is breathtaking... too bad people began their applause so soon to interrupt it. I guess they never heard anything like it.
It's an Ab.
@@jenspflug7473 yes... now I hear it... I'm a bit disappointed... is it meant to be a B in the score?
Ah!
Tout est bien fini.
Mon beau rêve de gloire, mes rêves de bonheur s'envolent
à jamais!
Tu m'as pris mon amour, tu me prends la victoire, Seigneur,
je me soumets!
NO! He has 47 year(born 1921). Gemma D'estate!
No, the conductor of that concert was Alfredo Silipigni.
FANTASTISCH
None better!
Spectacular! But does anyone know why he would transpose it down at this point in his career?
From the most beautiful planet in our Universe.
uuuurrrgggg sickening such perfect spirit
He flubbed the lyrics in the first stanza.
