I love this episode, too. Whenever the latest time was when I watched this episode on TLC, the parts I remembered the best were the lady giving Turtle Lou lunch on the airplane as well as you, Pappy, coloring the picture and telling us that you miss Turtle Lou and can't wait to see him when he comes back. :) I wish I could see the complete series of Pappyland as well as seeing which episodes were in Seasons 1- however many seasons there were. Thanks again, Pappy. God Bless to you! :)
I remember watching this show every afternoon on TLC after getting home from elementary school when they reran it. I was 10 years old and in fourth grade when they took it off in February 2003. I never get tired of hearing Elmer say "Hey Sonny! Don't you know what time it is?"
Adding to the chorus of this being one of my favorites as well. However, watching it again raises a question: So, if Turtle Lou lives in a world that Pappy drew.... How exactly does he fly out of it to reach the real country of Italy? And for that matter, how do real world duplicates of Pappyland residents exist there? This is what happens when you think too hard about nostalgic shows.... 😉 😀
Back when tv was good
My childhood! Thank you for making our 90s childhood awesome and creative.

I love you Pappy
This was one of my favorites too, one I remember watching even 20 or so years later.
