I really appreciate the changes you've announced and happy to see another video! Idk if the Hobby Talk will be my cup of tea, but I'll give it an earnest go
for movember you could make a painting contest, where everyone has to paint a miniature with a moustache. The winner gets a price, and all the painted miniatures are auctioned, so all the money goes to a good cause.
That has got to be one of the most epic Tournament Nightmares i'v heard so far. :-) And best of luck to that teen who won this tournament, he is gonna go far. It's fair to say that the moral of this nightmare is to never cheat in painting and always play with good manners.
We cannot support that first guy's attitude toward welcoming new players enough! I agree that if a payer has any commissioned models, they are automatically ineligible for the pest-painted army.
the thing that weirds me out the most during AAAALL of these dramatic stories is... that all these "Pro" "Meta" "Most Sportsman" "Competitive" "Hero" Players always ignore obvious neckbeard cheaters and let them get away with their bullshittery for EEEEEEEEEEVER before smashing them like the angry child they are.
Dennis is like water. In that he'll take the route of least resistance to get his wins. The cheaper and lower effort the better. Stacking the odds, taking a W on a painting competition when he just put money down and commission another dude to paint them... It isn't about the joy of the game for people like him. It's the feeling of being patted on the head he gets for winning and the easiest and surest path to this is what he strives for. Everything else comes second.
Eldar players get a lot of shit (like any Xenos player really) but the guys who are really good and can make them work even with bad rules will only just get better if they get a decent or powerful one, plus they’ll have a Xbox huge collection of shit to pull from when things change.
I found that weird when i lefted my local group. Everyone their where Xeno players, no space marines, imperials in general or humans. The largest faction hands down was orks (appropriately) with nearly 30 players, just under half of the Guilds members, the rest are Eldar, Tau and Tyranids make up the difference with me being the only one imperial players. Faction wars where a slog but thankfully people lent me models.
@@blacktemplarbrotherlucius1935 so people also can have disdain against spacemarine (especially ultramarine) players. GeeDub or former GeeDub employees probably hate them because they have had to paint so many over the years they worked and are boring.
I got bullied hard for mentioning i wanted to try playing eldar in 2018, only picked them up recently as i found thier fast moving and magic use tactics more fun
Before we were married, my wife went out with this guy called "Nice Guy Andy". She says "if someone has to tell you they're nice, they most definitely are not".

Its hilarious thst we can't use ForgeWould models in tournaments but you can submit commission models. Total BS.
When the hears the name “Dennis” I was worried he was going to relate it to Dennis Reynolds from always sunny.
That kid is going places!

That just seems common sense, its like submitting someone else's work as your own.

Far too many people like Dennis out there…

G'Day to ya all ! ! !
‘And then, everyone clapped’
I think I’m a pretty easy going guy, I don’t particularly care what mission we’re playing, I’m killwhoring (or gonna try to).
Should've not have been aloud to get any points since it's commission
