As Bhutan is charging Rs 4,500 per day for vehicles & Rs 1,500 per person per day to enter & stay in Bhutan India should do the same for Bhutanese citizens and vehicles that enter West Bengal, Assam, Sikkim etc.

I don't know why Bhutan charges soo high. I went to Bhutan from Guwahati & came to know that there was a flower festival going on then & I was surprised to know that locals are free to enter but for foreigners ticket price per person was 2500 rupees. They are robbing. Except crude oil, every thing too costly.

Could you please comment on the Road conditions from Phuentsholing to Thimphu ? Were they in good condition / or was it very bad with potholes or construction.. were the roads too narrow & dangerous & stuff like that?. Would appreciate your inputs on the safety very much :)

Guide is mandatory which is 1500per day
And you can take your camping cooking utensils along I don't think there will be a problem

And please convey the message to your Bhutanese government that it is unfair for Bhutanese to enter into India for free and come to Sikkim and Stay here for years without any charge unlike Bhutan. Bhutan knowing the fact that Bhutan and Sikkim has historical past as well as religious heritage. And queen mother being from Sikkim. Sikkimes People go there for religious pilgrims and Bhutanese come for the same purpose. It’s unfair for the common people. Hope India also implements the same soon

Wonderful video brother! Last year I did a road trip from Banglore to Bhutan border! Went up to Gomtu checkpost but could not enter as it was not open for tourists! However they allowed us to trek to Chota Mahakal cave which is a km inside Bhutan!

That is the only thing stopping me from visiting Bhutan right now because I want to travel to Punakha, paro, Ha and other regions aswell and spend more time in nature when visiting so i guess it will take more than a week to travel hence that 200$ per day is quite a lot for Nepali. but I will definitely visit Bhutan one day when i am fully ready.
